Ever since my father has received care from Home Instead our family have been delighted and overwhelmed by the professionalism, empathy, understanding, punctuality and depth of notes made in daily logs. Every carer is excellent and shows respect and a friendly approach when meeting my father's daily
needs. I would recommend to anyone. Knowing they are caring for my father on a daily basis, is reassuring and a comfort to all the family.

I cannot fault the Redditch and Bromsgrove Home Instead team, we started off with just 2 hours x 2 per week companionship for my mom in October 2015, Mom's condition has deteriorated quickly and by July they were covering us 3 x daily and providing sleep in cover 5 nights per week. Sadly we could not
sustain this as Mom was frightened to be on her own at any time and she has now gone into residential care home. Nothing was too much trouble and care plans were changed at short notice at our request, all the caregivers were so lovely and were matched to moms needs well, they made mom happy. l feel this is a testament to the recruitment process. All the girls spoke highly of working for the company and l noted they had time between clients and weren't rushing off to their next call, communication was excellent so any issues with mom were picked up and resolved quickly. l wouldn't hesitate to recommend home instead to anyone and l am sad we couldn't continue using the service.

Thank you Suzanne for your wonderful feedback. All the ladies looking after your Mom will miss her terribly - in fact a couple of them will be visiting her in her new home this evening!

The care given to my cousin has been second to none, firstly in her own home giving care, cooking meals, companionship and housework. When the dementia she was suffering from came to a point where she couldn't be trusted on her own when the carer wasn't with her, she had to be committed to a care home
with 24 hour care. To ease her into the new situation her main carer visited her twice a week and then once a week and finally withdrawn when she had settled into her new home. I am elderly myself and I couldn't have coped without the help I received from Home Instead.

I have been a client of Home Instead for 2 years and eight months. During this time I have received the best care possible. In the early days I was very ill and needed a lot of help in order to recover. My daughter heard of Home Instead and from the moment they took over I began to improve. The carers
are excellent, nothing was too much trouble and they were always kind and helpful. They were always on time. In fact as a family we could not fault them in any way. We were so fortunate to have found this company.

I came to Home Instead when looking at the care options for my mother who had become less able to look after herself at home, but was not ready to go in to a care home. They put together a programme of care visits which provided just what we wanted, and they were able to adjust times and frequency to
accommodate holidays and other changes needed. The ladies who visited my mother were all very effective in their different ways. There were two or three regulars who all struck up a good relationship with my mother and she looked forward to their visits. They helped with housework, cooking, and general tasks and as mother became more frail were able to take care of her personal needs.
I found the service effective and friendly, and would have no hesitation in recommended the service to others in a similar position.

I cannot recommend Home Instead and their staff highly enough for the care they have provided for my father and mother over the last nine months. From my first meeting with them I felt they had a clear idea of what the gold standard for care of the elderly should consist of. Through excellent management
this care was efficiently delivered and very often exceeded our expectations. The carers were always totally punctual, respectful and soon gained the confidence of my father and gently, through patience and kindness, my mother too. The girls often went the ' extra mile' and contacted us, as the family, if they felt there were issues that my parents could not deal with themselves. Due to the ever changing nature of the needs of my parents the team were always quick to respond to this and amazingly drew on their resources to provide adequate cover when required (often at very short notice). Issues were dealt with competently, rapidly, sympathetically and professionally. One of the greatest endorsements I can give was my mother's comment about the laughter and easy chatter she could hear between my Dad and his carer whilst he was being washed and dressed each morning. Getting old is not much fun so thank you Home Instead for making this experience as dignified and pleasant for Mum and Dad as it could be and giving us, as out of area family, the confidence to know our parents were so very well supported.

When Mum was diagnosed with dementia her one wish was to stay at home for as long as possible. With the fantastic care and support of Home Instead I was able to fulfil her wish. If I had to use one word to describe the help and support that we received it would be 'fantastic'. From the very beginning,
when we started with only 1 visit a week, until mum passed away when we were having 4 visits daily, the level of care was awesome. As mum lived alone and my job has me travelling a bit, it was a great comfort to me to know that she was being well looked after, that she was eating properly and that she was taking her tablets when she should! The carers were always willing to go above and beyond if needed, for example staying extra time when ambulances had to be called and making sure all was OK before they left. Whenever I needed to contact the office the staff there were always extremely helpful and understanding, always taking the time to see how I was doing as well as my mum. My mum often called her carers her 'angels', and it was great for me to see the trust and friendship that she had with them. Thank you Home Instead for helping me to do the one thing that mum asked - to stay at home!

Thank you Julia for your kind words. We already miss our regular conversations with both you and your dear Mum. It’s always a pleasure to hear that we have been able to help someone achieve their wish to remain at home, and that both client and family feel truly cared for.

Job Title: Registered Manager & Head of Operations

My role is to lead the team to maintain outstanding standards, and to ensure we are compliant with our regulating body, the Care Quality Commission. I oversee the smooth running of all aspects of the business, whether it is Care, People or Scheduling. My aim is to always be looking to the next level and how we can always improve the experiences of both our clients and Care Professionals.

I myself have been on quite the journey with Home Instead during my tenure here. I started my career as an administrator and CAREGiver, before progressing into the role of Care Coordinator from there I moved into a role on the people side of the business as a CAREGiver Support Officer, which involved improving staff engagement and from there Head of Engagement. In 2020 I moved back to the care team and took on Registration, I believe that my extensive experience throughout the business gives me an insight into the experiences of both our Care Professionals and clients alike.

Before Home Instead, I completed a music degree at Plymouth University where I focused on helping those with Dementia by using music. I did a lot of research into this and found the evidence of enhancing the quality of life outstanding. It was working with those suffering from the condition that really made me want to dive deeper into health and social care.

I believe in our values and can gladly say I am proud to work for Home Instead whether you are a Care Professionals or a client; everyone who touches our services deserves to receive the best support and care possible.
