I doubt that at the time we had Everycare employees that we fully appreciated their expertise. It is only now that we have experienced other carers that we appreciate the professionalism, kindness, and competence that Everycare gave us. On the whole, my husband had complete confidence in the care given.
There is no substitute for experience in this field and many Everycare employees showed this to be true.

Reply from David Dimelow, Director at Everycare (Mid Sussex)

We appreciate your kind words and are pleased that during our period of service for your husband that we were able to make a difference. Your appreciation of our Carers and the way they conduct themselves is rewarding in itself.

I cannot recommend Everycare highly enough! From the very first contact to when I no longer required help, they were first-rate. Efficient, caring, helpful. All the lovely ladies who came to help me shower, clean the house, etc, did such a great job. Many thanks to Team Everycare.

Throughout the time that Everycare looked after the client, they showed excellent commitment and professionalism, and towards the end, their patience and perseverance were highly commendable. I often had to speak on the phone, and the office staff were both cheerful and helpful. At times, there were
difficult situations to deal with because of the failing health of the client, but the competency of all staff shone through. The client has now been admitted to a home, but would not have been able to stay so long in his beloved house without the excellence of Everycare.

Reply from David Dimelow, Director at Everycare (Mid Sussex)

Thank you for your review. It was at times a challenging package of care, but we were determined to achieve the best possible outcome for the client, and I'm pleased to hear that this was achieved. Hopefully, the client will now be well looked after in an environment where 24-hour care can be managed effectively.
Thank you for all of your help along the journey, it has not been easy for you to act on behalf of the client.
Kind regards.

My Mum has been looked after by the wonderful team at Everycare (Mid Sussex) for well over a year now. Mum has late stage Dementia, mobility problems and is now on palliative care. Despite the challenges of the pandemic, three members of staff and the team of carers have showed amazing dedication and
care to my Mum during some very difficult and challenging times. Despite Mum's condition, her quality of life has improved and the team are very positive as to how they can make Mum's final months and years as content as possible. One particular carer has done an amazing job, the difference in Mum has been very noticeable and having that ability to understand Mum's needs through body language, as verbal communication is hard at times, has helped Mum immensely with day to day life. Anyone who is thinking about arranging care for a relative, companion or friend, please do not hesitate to give them a call.

Reply from David Dimelow, Director at Everycare (Mid Sussex)

So pleased to hear your kind words, it has been a pleasure looking after Mum and the team of carers have all worked very hard to provide the best possible outcomes for Mum.

For the first 4 or 5 days, the carer was not a good carer. For the rest of the time I had 2 carers and they were excellent and helped me in any way possible.

Thank you for your review, I'm sorry your first experience of our wonderful care staff was not up to standard but obviously pleased that "normal service" was resumed shortly after.

My wife is really happy with the care service provided by Everycare Mid Sussex. She looks forward to seeing her regular carers, but even when they have time off, the replacement carers are always friendly and efficient - making sure that my wife is comfortable. The carers are always aware of my wife's
needs and are careful not to cause her any pain or discomfort.

I asked Everycare to look after my Mum when her mobility and coordination deteriorated. They have been wonderful. The staff are friendly, they make time to talk to Mum as well as sorting out her washing/cleaning needs. They don't appear to rush to leave and update me promptly with any issues. I have
also found Everycare very flexible, changing times/dates/frequency whenever asked.

As l have been using these care services now for just over three years, l am happy with the services they provide for me as a disabled man aged 60 in a wheelchair. They provide 24/7 care which is a great help with understanding, friendly carers. They, in medical terms, do a very good service assisting
me with transport to hospital for treatment or to A&E at times. The care service provider is good at being in contact with myself and a care worker manager visits me each month to check I am happy in myself and that everything is kept clean around my home.
I would recommend to any of my family or friends to use this care company if needed in future years.

Reply from David Dimelow at Everycare (Mid Sussex)

It has been a pleasure working with you over these past 3 years, the mutual respect and understanding has helped form a solid relationship between our caring team and yourself. We look forward to providing our services for you for a long time to come.

All the agency staff are caring, friendly and professional. My wife suffers from Alzheimers and dementia - her carers are wonderful with her and she looks forward to seeing them. They are very involved with her, stimulating and communicating with her constantly, smiling and laughing together constantly.
I cannot recommend them and the agency more highly.

Reply from David Dimelow at Everycare (Mid Sussex)

I have worked with a lot of care agencies over the years and I would definitely recommend them. The care staff are friendly, caring and supportive. They are quite responsive if you suddenly have extra or a change in your needs. Some of the admin staff could improve their interpersonal skills, but we
are all human! The management do listen to you if you are having any problems with your care staff. Overall, the company is very client-driven and empowering.

Reply from David Dimelow at Everycare (Mid Sussex)

Thanks for your review Michelle, it's always pleasing to hear we get the primary function of the business right, but it sounds like we need to improve on the communication side. I'll review this with my colleagues and see where we can make improvements, hopefully, we get it 100% right from now on.

We had to find temporary care at short notice. From the first time we contacted Everycare we had such a friendly, helpful and efficient service. The managers organised the first visits quickly, the home visit was undertaken promptly. The manager spent 1 1/2 hours going through everything - such a relief
when you aren't sure of the processes. All the carers were kind, friendly and knew what they were doing, they arrived on time, never had any concerns about anything. Thank you to all the staff at Everycare, we really appreciate all your help and support.

My mother needed a full-time carer for a week after an operation in the hospital. I phoned Everycare (Mid Sussex) after it was recommended to us by a neighbour who spoke highly of her experience. They had only 3 days to organise this and they provided a carer to look after our mother on Thursday. The
service was marvellous - just what we requested. Everycare (Mid Sussex) was honest, approachable and very professional with a great sense of humour. The carer was excellent. She was discreet, empathetic and so willing to help. Our whole experience was faultless and made the whole experience for my 88-year-old mother and the rest of the family - a stress-free and supportive one - thank you.

We began using Everycare after our previous care provider let us down. My Father is still fiercely independent, but the carers would still go in and have a chat with him for the time they were allocated, even if he refused help. He has now built a rapport with the team and allows them to do more tasks
for him.
At every stage, the carers and the office have been very reactive to any changes and kept me informed of any concerns or issues they might have. The other week they even arranged a new kettle to be bought and delivered when Dad's stopped working! It has given myself and my sister huge peace of mind knowing that they are checking on him a couple of times a week and engaging with him in a positive way.
I can now be fully confident that he will be able to have his care needs met as and when needed in a kind, considerate way. I can't recommend Everycare enough.

Thank you for your kind review Sarah, it has taken some time but Dad now feels much more relaxed and comfortable with our carers and the benefit to Dad is clear to see.

Dad has Parkinson's and Dementia so he is very important to us.
Everycare - Managers, coordinators, supervisors, owners and carers have been polite, courteous and try hard to meet my dad's needs. Very accommodating and understanding, very professional and organised.
They send a schedule each week
which is invaluable because dad lives alone and I care for him long distance so very helpful for my sister and me to know what time carers are coming, to check if correct and who is coming.

The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  • a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.

    The Average Rating of 4.774 for Everycare (Mid Sussex) is calculated as follows: ( (67 Excellents x 5) + (15 Goods x 4) + (2 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 84 Ratings = 4.774

  • When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.

  • If a Home Care Provider does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
