Customers comprise adults of all ages, including the elderly and also younger adults with physical and/or learning disabilities.

Customers' needs are listened to carefully and care is tailored for them, ranging from companionship and practical help around the home to intensive personal care, and from an hour or two a week to full-time support.

To ensure continuity of care, Caremark Wandsworth aims to give clients the same care workers, who are security (enhanced DBS) checked, vetted and fully trained and who provide a caring, compassionate, punctual and personalised service.

There are frequent unannounced spot checks on carers, and regular care reviews and assurance checks with clients, to ensure the highest quality standards.

I feel very fortunate to have found Caremark Wandsworth on the web. The service manager was efficient, kind and friendly in her first introductory visit. The carer who came for several months was always punctual and reliable, working on homemaking chores I urgently needed done while having no-weight-bearing
casts and in a wheelchair. I especially appreciated, living alone and a bit isolated in the casts, that the carer who came was intelligent and an easy, charming conversationalist, making having someone in my flat really a pleasure - as well as a necessity! Management of invoices and changes in schedule I needed were always handled efficiently and professionally, and the contact person on the phone always friendly with a can-do attitude. The cost was reasonable. When I need to have my next complicated foot surgery Caremark will be the first home care resource I will call up!

I was given the contact for Caremark by a friend as they were not on a list forwarded to me by Wandsworth. I have not regretted it. The carers for my mother have been kind and understanding and shown great empathy with my mum who can be difficult at times. Always cheerful, professional and responsive
to mum's needs.

We have been using Caremark for over 2 years now, recently my mother had a number of hospital appointments that required us to change the times of visits so as to fit in with transport arrangements etc. Nothing was too much trouble. Caremark were only too happy to work in with our arrangements. In addition,
we love that mums carers work on a rota of 4-5 carers so that they really understand and get to know mum who loves the routine and in addition to the care enjoys the chat and interesting conversations that she has. Thank you, Caremark.

I have nothing but praise for the high standard of care my Dad received. We especially appreciated the continuity of care provided, which became more and more important as Dad's memory problems worsened. Dad had one primary carer, with a second carer introduced as he needed more help and a third on
hand to offer additional cover when necessary, so that he got to know all three of them well. They were all so kind and felt genuine affection for Dad, which I'm sure was returned. The management and staff in the office were very helpful and supportive. All in all, the staff at Caremark (Wandsworth) helped to make the stress and anxiety which inevitably accompanies caring for an elderly parent much more manageable.

We needed urgent care for my wife, Caremark came out the same day and had a carer introduced by 6 pm and they started the next day.
They pay great attention to continue of carers and we have been very happy with all aspects of the care and service.

My mother received care from Caremark (Wandsworth) for the final 5 months of her life. Initially, she was cared for by one main carer, who showed her enormous kindness and respect, took her work seriously and always came with a lovely smile that cheered my mother greatly. She was thorough and meticulous.
My mother and the carer developed a very warm bond that really helped all of the family as the end drew near.


Latterly, when more visits by more carers were required, I felt that my mother's needs were meant with warmth and humanity by the Caremark carers. I have great admiration for the women who do this job and am extremely grateful to them for the care they provided. I feel we were so lucky.

My mother found the carer's she had very friendly and reliable. They always reported any concerns immediately to the office. My mother's needs were not for personal care as much as for ensuring she had taken her tablets and was eating three times per day. Some young carers need more training in managing
rotation of food in the refrigerator, checking sell-by dates. When opening foods such as packets of ham and cheese, they should ensure they are wrapped to avoid cross-contamination and also ensuring they are not left for a person with memory loss eats them after 3 days. Communication between the different carers is essential in this regard.

Caremark (Wandsworth) welcomes feedback from clients on the quality of its service.


All our carers receive thorough training on food hygiene and safety. Our carers are fully aware of the importance of food hygiene/safety in particular with clients with memory loss. The implication of the comments by the daughter of our client is that our carers know nothing about food hygiene/safety, which is incorrect. We admit that there was an isolated instance of an item being in the fridge beyond its use by date. We took immediate action to refresh the food safety training of the carer responsible, and thereby improve the safety of our service. We, therefore, believe that this issue has been given disproportionate emphasis in the review; consequently there is relatively little weight attached to the view that "my mother found that the carer's (sic) she had very friendly and reliable". We, therefore, feel that the review is misleading.

Caremark Wandsworth has provided home care and other based community services for my brother for the last three years. This has enabled him to live life to a higher standard. They have provided a wonderful and dedicated service, which they should be proud of. They keep in regular communication updating
and advising the progress of their work with my brother. l would totally recommend them for their professionalism and respect.

Caremark Wandsworth have been providing extra 24/7 care for my father during the last 18 months. They have delivered outstanding care, with incredibly dedicated staff who have gone way beyond the call of duty. they have been extremely professional, caring and compassionate.
The staff have become like
family members. One never felt as though the staff were not giving 110%. It is a sign of the calibre of their team that some would visit my father whilst they were in annual leave. Simply put, brilliant carers. thank you.
