Home Instead have really gone out of their way to look after my dad, who is 96 and lives alone. My dad loves the 'girls' who visit and they can't do enough for him.
My dad is always laughing about the 'banter' he has with his 2 caregivers who visit regularly.
Amazing company, can't thank them enough.

I find the minimum care very good as I am not hurried and therefore do not have difficult breathing problems. All the carers are patient and give my bones time to adjust. They are good girls with my meals and do what I require.

Management occasionally changes attendance times which I usually find out from website, if I remember to check.

The carers are generally very good and committed to their work. They carry out their tasks well and efficiently, they are friendly and take time to chat with me.
The company seems well managed, rotas are sent regularly and reviews visits are frequent. Queries are usually answered promptly and as a
client, I feel respected. I was impressed that they were able to respond promptly to my increased care needs after a recent stay in hospital.

Home Instead supplied is with a team of carers who gave excellent care 4 times a day to my elderly mum, who had dementia and other problems. We always had the same ladies and they became friends and part of our family. My mum loved the friendly familiar faces.
They were punctual, reliable, always caring
and competent.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

May I take this opportunity to thank you and the caregivers that have supported both Mum and Dad previously.
It has been of great peace of mind knowing that my parents had the support and assistance from a wonderful team.

Home Instead was recommended by my solicitor when I mentioned I would like someone to give my partner private art lessons. The initial contact was very professional and the person visiting would be a trained carer without her needed to know.
The company made another visit with the individual providing
the weekly lesson and it is working our extremely well. We have had a weekly visit for about 7 weeks now and have agreed to continue. I fully the trust the firm and this gives me a short break to myself.

"We" are very pleased with the service offered and think it's good value for money. The service does, however, depend on the quality of the individual carer and does that individual suit the particular client. It does seem that the management are well aware of this and do their very best to suit both
carer and client. It is a well fun business.

Home Instead Senior Care provided support for my husband who suffered from PSP a rare disorder similar to Parkinson's. They were all wonderfully supportive, very capable and caring. I would fully recommend Home Instead.

I did have a regular lady visit but when she left I was worried about who would come next. I needn't have as they sent me a lovely person who I get on well with and she does what she needs to do to a satisfactory standard. I cant complain and she always feeds the birds for me.

Fay Sinclair

Job Title: Care Manager

My name is Fay Sinclair and I have been working in the care sector since 1998. Over these years I have gained knowledge and experience working in many different areas of care such as child welfare, Residential care, and working with people living with dementia. I love to care for individuals in our community by supporting them and encouraging them to live happily in their own homes. My passion for care in the community informed my decision to permanently move to Domiciliary care in 2003.

I joined Home Instead Aylesbury Vale and North East Oxfordshire in May 2020 as a Senior Care Professional. The values and beliefs held by Home Instead, particularly those in supporting individuals in our local community and offering truly person-centred care represent what I stand for. This enables me to thoroughly enjoy my job on a daily basis. Home Instead is where I have decided I want to grow my career as quality is never compromised and the team are highly professional in everything that they do.

Since joining Home Instead, my professional journey has developed as I quickly achieved moving into a Team Leader role and then onto being the Deputy Care Manager. The company have fully supported my professional development through sitting a Level 3 in Health and Social Care through this part of my journey.
In the summer of 2022, I started feeling that I could do more and set my sights on becoming the Care Manager. The owners have fully supported my ambition and my studies for Level 5 in Health and Social Care. In doing so I have stepped into my current role as a Care Manager. There is a lot to learn but one of the things I’ve learnt by being at Home Instead is that we are always learning. If it’s not learning something new then it’s learning to improve.

I can’t express how happy I am doing what I do with Home Instead but I can say that I’m very excited and looking forward to a continued career with Home Instead.

Job Title: Senior Care Professional

My name is Julia, and I joined the Home Instead family in August 2020 as a Care Professional. I didn’t think that I could start afresh with a new career but having worked with Home Instead and realising that the owners were very supportive of development, I started considering building my career here.

Since joining, I’ve been fully supported to complete my Level 2 in Health and Social Care and have more recently started my Level 3 in Health and Social Care. I’ve also successfully been promoted to a Senior Care Professional role. I am very proud of my achievements and am very happy to be working with an organisation that puts client care at the heart of what we do. I really enjoy what I do. I love providing hands-on care in the community and supporting our Care Professionals in doing their fantastic work.

I used to work with children so providing care to a different age group was completely new to me. Home Instead taught me how to help and support individuals in the community in a way that enhances their quality of life. I am very grateful for the opportunity to work with great clients and amazing colleagues, and I am excited about my future with Home Instead.

My name is Matthew Coombs, I joined Home Instead Aylesbury Vale & Northeast Oxfordshire in January 2023 as a student on a placement year, to gain some physical experience of how a business works, and to support my learning in business management.

Home Instead does some amazing work with its clients in their local community. I am proud to say I am part of such a positive organisation, working to change the face of ageing. It is uncommon to find a company that is such a great match for your values, so I cannot be happier at Home Instead.

The customer is right at the heart of what we do here at Home Instead. Our client-orientated approach allows us to provide meaningful and relationship-led lead care with professionalism. Everyone at Home Instead shares the same values of delivering quality care in people's homes enabling them to get the most out of their daily living. The Home Instead Care Professionals always put the client at the centre of what they do but yet love what they do so much that they can’t believe that this is their job.

As a student placement, I have been given the opportunity to develop with the team and really get involved with what is happening. My job role enables me to take some responsibility with the support always available if I need it. The responsibilities I have been given as well as the opportunity to be part of the team have been great for my personal and professional development. This has motivated me to strive to improve myself and build upon the work which I do, to enable Home Instead to work towards their vision of expanding the world’s capacity to care.
