Taycare at Home's founder Jill ensures all of its employees are seen by management and staff alike, as a work family. By helping and supporting each other, the team makes sure that each staff member is doing their level best for their clients.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. They are always on time which is important as they help to get my brother from the swimming pool after his disabled swimming group. Without the help from Taycare he would not be able to continue an activity that he enjoys.

My mother is 96 years of age and has Alzheimer's. I thought as she has always been so independent she would not accept carers coming into her house, but she says she is being very well looked after. She describes the staff as "they are all nice". As a daughter (nearly aged 70) I find this service invaluable,
knowing that mum is cared for very well, has had her medication and has had her evening meal. Staff monitor things and the attention to detail is excellent.

We have been using TayCare for 2 years now. It was a difficult decision for my mother to accept but TayCare have been great. They provide my mother with personal care, help around the house but also the social aspects of carer visits have been an unexpected and enormous benefit to her. She would not
still be living in her own home without TayCare and I would definitely recommend TayCare.

My mum has MS and is in bed 24/7 and has been received her care from TayCare since December 2017. I am very impressed. The staff are polite, tidy, good timekeepers, give my mum choices with meals, clothes etc. I think most importantly they don't rush out when they have done what they have to do, they
sit and chat with my mum for the time they have allocated. I live 400 miles away and work full time as a carer doing domestic care so only see my mum once or twice a year. The last two service providers I have not been happy with. I will go home a lot happier this time, knowing that my mum is in good hands and is being well cared for.

All staff are caring and considerate, very observant of any changes in client's health (quick to inform GP and family). Manager, herself, was always aware of client's needs and made regular personal visits. Staff maintained a very high standard of personal hygiene and bathroom/kitchen cleanliness for
the client. Good communication between family/ Carers. Without such good help, we would have been unable to look after my parent at home for so long. They gave us peace of mind which is very important for all concerned.

TayCare have enabled me to have mum at home and give her a good quality of life. The team are fantastic in the way they care for her as they have got know her really well. They cope with the ups and downs of caring for someone with Dementia and without them I would have to stop working which I don’t
want to. I have recommended TayCare to friends in similar situations and they too are very happy with the service.

Care providers all arrive in good time. They always inquire how I am and how I have been over the previous day. They allow me to choose what my requirements are for that morning. Either a full shower and hair wash or a body wash. My only comment is about the considerable number of different carers who
have attended to my needs over the past months. In my opinion, this results in a lack of continuity and customer carer relationship.

Couldn't fault the care TayCare provided to my Grandad.
With the hard work and commitment from the care staff, my grandad had put on two stone and was healthier than he had been in a long time. Which was fantastic as he is stubborn when it comes to eating.
My Grandad was treated with the respect
and dignity that every service user deserves.

TayCare at Home staff are ‘stars’ providing a caring and professional service. With an emphasis on clients’ practical, social and emotional needs, TayCare has been key in supporting our family for 3 years. Everyone – director, office staff, care manager and individual carers - has enabled my mother
to remain at home for much longer than we thought possible. We were able to take some much-needed breaks in the knowledge that TayCare would cope with issues in our absence. Unfortunately, my mother now has a degenerative illness and needs full-time nursing care. TayCare supported her in hard times before diagnosis. Hospital visits to my mother and sensitive support to the family facing difficult decisions for the future helped us cope. Sadly, this means our relationship with TayCare has ended, but I cannot stress enough how much their professional, compassionate and, above all, kind care of my frail mother is highly valued. TayCare is the gold standard; I recommend the company most warmly.

Having the care this service provides allows my mother to stay in her own home. This is extremely important to her. The staff are reliable and kind. I know I will be contacted quickly about any issues that have arisen which gives me the space to carry on my own life.

TayCare staff and management have provided exceptional service to my mother over several years allowing her to live happily in her own home. They took over when the previous care organisation was failing to perform. From the initial meeting, they have been extremely professional and caring, tailoring
the service for specific needs and requests. At the start, they gently introduced their more-professional ways. The improvement and the effect on my mother were startling. Staff are always willing, able, interested and enthusiastic. They show respect, treating the client with dignity and the highest quality of care at the times agreed. TayCare interfaced well with all parties including the local authority. As our family lives hundreds of miles away TayCare have managed daily life contacting us if required. When client confusion and ill health made things complex their professionalism and high standards continued to improve the quality of all our lives. I cannot praise TayCare enough.
