Seniors Helping Seniors have been caring for my dad for just over a year. Their work helps him to remain at home living independently whilst seeing a friendly face every day, getting out and about when possible and helping make sure he is eating and drinking properly.
All the staff are very good at
keeping me informed about any changes, and likewise, they are accommodating when I have asked for any changes to Dad's care plan.
I always know who is due to see Dad and when, so I can let him know if he forgets.
All in all, I'm very happy with everything they do, and so is my dad, which is what matters the most.

Two years ago we persuaded my parents that it would be a good idea to have a little bit of help from a care service. They began to enjoy the help but then the pandemic hit. My lovely father died of the virus in the first lockdown and my mother was heartbroken. She wasn't able to manage on her own either
emotionally or physically and so she moved into the purpose-built annexe attached to our house that we had been planning for the both of them.
Mum found it quite hard to process all the changes that had happened in her life and part of her managing to do that was the calm, kind and intuitively helpful care she had from all the carers who came from Seniors - and one in particular who has become a true family friend to all of us. This lady 'gets' my mum and has become an integral part of her recovery from the heartbreak of losing my father and her family home. She now feels completely 'at home' in her little annexe - very much as a result of the loving care from the staff at Seniors.

From the very beginning, a fantastic team hit the ground running. Having spoken to management, things were rapidly put in motion and an excellent group of experienced, caring and compassionate people were able to offer Mum companion care almost immediately. I couldn’t have been more relieved to know
that Mum was receiving visits from such a friendly and competent group of individuals. A WhatsApp group was set up to share information, including the weekly staffing schedule - another management role which is expertly delivered.
When Mum’s vascular dementia was diagnosed, the consultant stressed the importance of mental stimulation, especially via mixing and talking, to slow down her decline. I honestly believe that the Seniors Helping Seniors’ team has made a significant contribution to Mum’s wellbeing. She is very happy to welcome them into her home and considers each one to be a friend.
I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

I am a retired Doctor who has used their service for over 1-year and probably 2-years. They try to give one person for one client where possible, who suits them, so providers and users become more like friends. They have extensive knowledge about safety, equipment, and local shops, so their advice can
be very helpful. The providers will go out of their way to get something eg food, collect medicines in an emergency, or drive you if necessary to a hospital. The providers are invariably cheerful, kind, on time, and do their job very efficiently. In addition, now the management reminds you by email of the time of arrival of the provider, or if there has had to be a change of plan eg, for another person or another time, within 1/2 hour (rare).

Thank you Barbara for taking the time to review our services. It's our pleasure to help you. Thank you for bearing with the fluctuations in arrival time recently, our carer's recent operation has had an affect but she was determined to keep seeing you and we are glad you agreed!

I highly recommend this company; they are reliable and flexible and a world away from other services we have used. It means so much to have a regular person who turns up at a regular time! The range of services they provide from personal care, housework, driving to appointments etc is impressive, our
lady is just amazing, and the office staff are quick to respond and very helpful.

Caring and efficient service. The initial assessment was thorough, but not intrusive. They helped us to match the right carer to meet my dad's needs and personality.
When Dad was in hospital, they keep in contact to check on his welfare, but also ours as a family. If we needed to change visit days
or times, this has always been accommodated.
Questions and queries are always dealt with efficiently and professionally.
I would highly recommend this company,

The staff are always on time when they visit mum, and it is the same-named person every day, which Mum needs for continuity. The staff at the office are always polite, and any queries are answered promptly. On the rare occasion that I have had to ask for alternative care visits, it has always been arranged
with minimum fuss.

This service has proved to be outstanding support to me in caring for my dad. The carer is punctual and reliable and quickly developed a rapport with our whole family, not just her client. I have already recommended Seniors Helping Seniors to a friend in a similar situation.

Seniors Helping Seniors have enabled me to stay at home, being here to help me on the stairs (up and down 2-floors), which I would not now manage safely, if at all. Otherwise, I would be dependent on a nurse coming in to give me a bed bath.

The team looking after my elderly mother are excellent. The office is easy to contact and quick to respond. The two carers who see her are very reliable and kind. They also take time to understand Mum's needs.

My mother uses this service and has found the carers kind and responsive to her needs. The company were swift to help when we first needed support for the level of care my mother needs - companionship and outings to the shops etc. The service has been ideal, and I have found that her carers have always
gone over and above what could be asked of them. Thank you.

Very good transport service to and from London hospital, involving lots of waiting and uncertainty about discharge time and place - cheerful conversation along the way. I was very happy that the same driver was available for subsequent visits.

Seniors Helping Seniors have been a lifeline for my mum and our family, and have contributed to making it possible for Mum to stay in her own home living independently. They provide caring companionship, taking Mum for walks, cooking her meals, doing her housework, shopping and driving her to the GP
- all done with great empathy, care and friendship. They take her swimming, help her with changing and showering, and make sure she has a warm drink and lunch afterwards. They negotiated the past two years of Covid in an exemplary fashion, safety always at the top of their list, but never allowing their service and companionship to suffer. Not one visit was missed through the whole Covid crisis. They keep me constantly informed about how Mum is, alerting me when there's a cause for concern and reassuring me when there isn't. Living 200-miles away from Mum, this is hugely important to me, and with Seniors, I know Mum is under their daily watchful care. In Mum's own words: They're brilliant.

Always on time, does not make me happy when at the hairdressers takes me from basin to dryer ect with great care. Always aware of and respects my disability (leg) and painful right hand. Checking I'm comfortable before leaving. A quiet and kind carer who has become a friend I'm happy to welcome.
