I cannot praise Respectful care enough for care and attention to my dad for the period from May 2020 to December 2020. Particularly to their carer, she has been supportive to my mum and dad throughout the pandemic coming into their home to care twice a day. She certainly does deserve recognition for
her hard work and commitment and the friendship and bond that she has developed with my parents. Unfortunately, our care needs have changed but would like to take the opportunity to say how appreciative we have been with Respectful care and wish them all well, with many thanks

Moving to a new care provider earlier this year was a big step after being with my previous provider for a number of years. I chose Respectful Care because I had heard a lot of good reports about them. From day 1, I knew that I had made a good decision. All of the carers are excellent - I cannot emphasise
that enough. They come in, do what I need without little or no explanation and do it so well. I never fear a new carer coming, as I sometimes used to do because it doesn't matter who comes, the service delivery is the same - friendly and professional. The way they had obviously prepared for the Covid-19 situation before the lockdown began, was impressive and reassuring and said much about the management team. The office staff are excellent too and very approachable. I can discuss anything about my care with them. I moved to Respectful Care because I wanted to feel confident again about my care. I have that confidence now and so much more besides. I would recommend them to anyone.

We get on well with the carers and office staff, they always try to help us if we have a problem. The carers always treat my wife in a caring, dignified and polite manner. My wife has a bad back and if she gets a new carer and they are a little heavy-handed 'just like me' she tells them and they always
oblige.
We have been going through some difficult times just lately and everybody, from top to bottom have tried their best to help us out. Thank you.

Overall the carers are good. However, the different number of carers has increased now to 27 since early December 2017. This subject has been discussed with members of the staff and it was agreed that a small nucleus for example 5 or 6 regular carers for the welfare and wellbeing for my wife who has
dementia as well as being badly disabled.

Thank you for your review Robert. We aim to keep the smallest staff teams for clients as much as possible, and this is sometimes very difficult due to sickness, absence, part-time staff, bank staff, evening staff, weekend staff etc. Your comments will be discussed with senior staff to make sure this doesn't happen again.
