We have been very happy with Alina's care and would recommend them to anyone for their professional approach to my sister-in-law who has dementia and her husband who is now too ill to be at home so they are both going into a care home.

I have used Alina Homecare ever since my homecoming from stroke rehab and in my time I have been a large employer so I am only too aware of issues such as recruitment, training and legislation compliance. It is against that background that I state they are truly excellent and a great service provider.
I
am prompted to write this review because my son got married on Saturday and so staff had the task to ready me for this special celebration that involved a lot of attention to detail and the watchwords of - patience, enthusiasm, professionalism and going the extra mile, all came into play and in spades to boot. Bravo!

My relative had been receiving care for over three years, but sadly passed on the 13th of May 2022. The care and comfort provided by Alina were of the highest standard and contributed significantly to my relative's quality of life in her final years. The carers and staff at Alina worked closely with
the family, ensuring my relative was safe and comfortable, sometimes under difficult circumstances. The carers were always compassionate, patient and completely reliable. My relative and the family send our sincerest thanks to all at Alina for the care and support they provided and would happily recommend their services.

Alina have looked after our mother for many years in her own home up to April 2022 and have always been professional, kind, and friendly. They have always tried to adapt to mum's changing needs and provided personal care of a high standard. The carers' visits are often the high point of Mum's day and
several of them have become close to Mum and spend time chatting to her, which means the world to her. She views them more as friends than carers. We would like to thank all the staff at Alina for everything they have done for our mother and would highly recommend them to anyone considering their services.

I was badly let down by another care company at the 11th hour and Alina were very reassuring and quick to get things set up for my mother at quite short notice. I was particularly impressed by the communication. The phone was always answered promptly, emails replied to very swiftly and I was often able
to speak to the care manager that I had met during the assessment. This continuity of contact really helped. During the period of care, my mother received from Alina I was impressed by the reliability of the carers and by the concern that was shown to help my mother obtain the care that felt right for her. I spoke to some of the carers on the phone and they always showed kind concern for mum, were anxious to provide the best they could, and were quick to let me know if there were any worries.

Since early 2021, Alina has provided home care for our 79-year-old mum who has dementia. We were anxious initially with no prior experience but the service has been exceptional. The agency itself has been highly professional, alerting us to any concerns they have or queries relating to the care and
wellbeing of our mum. Every member of staff we have dealt with has been really helpful and responsive, adding in visits or changing times even at short notice. Most importantly, the care and support the team has provided to our mum has been superb. She tells us about her 'lovely ladies' and, whilst she doesn't always remember their names, she describes the different personalities and how they have helped her - talking about flowers and nature on a walk, having a good chat and a laugh or cooking her a particularly nice dinner. We are so grateful for the quality of care we have from Alina and couldn't recommend them highly enough. They have given us complete peace of mind.

Our mum came out of hospital in February 2021 with the need for a 24 hour live-in carer. Alina have supplied at least six lovely ladies to live in with Mum. They have all been amazing and have looked after Mum just as we would have done. Mum has dementia and doesn’t really remember them all, but we
as a family do and have kept In touch with some of them. The whole team at Alina are caring and helpful. Thank you also for the lovely relief carers who continue to come in and look after mum and chat to her, she loves seeing them all!

Alina supply my mother currently, and my father in the past, with carers as they have done for the last 10 years(approx). They are always very kind and helpful and give great care to my parents. I would like to thank Alina Homecare for the excellent care provided to my mother as she transitioned to her end-of-life pathway. Mum was only able to remain at home thanks to the excellent, professional, and dedicated care provided by Alina. I cannot speak highly enough about the kindness and friendliness
the carers showed to my mother. I am especially grateful to my mother's main live-in carer. The carer was sympathetic and skilled at managing Mum's changing needs up until the end, which the family are so grateful for. I would also like to thank the Team Leader at Alina for providing management support. This is a top-rated agency that comes highly recommended.

I want to say how grateful I am to Alina Homecare and their wonderful staff for having taken such good care of my friend over the last four and a half years. It was a real weight off my mind to know that I could rely on a conscientious and caring set of staff to visit and look after her and the consistently
high standard of care was impressive and reassuring. There was always a willingness to make sure that she was settled and happy and she really looked forward to seeing them. From the office staff to the carers themselves everyone was friendly and professional and you really feel that you are getting a bespoke, personalised service. Alina Homecare has looked after my husband for the last 4 years until he passed away and throughout that time the service was top grade. The office staff were helpful and understanding going that extra mile to assist with queries or requests. Always calling back to confirm arrangements and to check
everything was OK. If necessary they would let us know if a carer was held up by an emergency and they have been most kind in arranging for carers to help if I was unable to cope with my husband's personal care out of scheduled times. As for the carers employed by Alina they are absolutely wonderful, always cheerful. They were very professional and yet so kind and respectful, checking and chatting with my husband, giving him respect, and ensuring he was at ease in every
situation. Each carer was competent and able to use the varying equipment needed during my husband's care which I don't think could have been better. Thank you Alina Carers your help brightened our lives.

My mum came home from hospital in February having been in hospital for 2.5 months. She was weak and tired. She has 24-hour live-in care from Alina and has flourished. She is happy and content and so well cared for. She looks years younger! The live-in carers and relief carers have become friends of
all the family and show so much patience. We are so grateful.

My mum was cared for by Alina and I have to say that they provide the most excellent service that is possible. The carers were lovely to her and it was a great relief to know that she was being cared for in this way. In return, she also loved to see them and nothing was any trouble for them to do. Sadly
she has just passed away but I feel much more content knowing that she had friendly company three times a day at the end of her days. I cannot thank them enough for what they did for her and would highly recommend Alina Homecare to any person that may require this type of service and needs a loved one looking after.

My parents were always sceptical of people they did not know coming into their house, but as my mother's health deteriorated they had no choice. Based upon recommendation I contacted Alina and it was the best decision that I could have made. Alina quickly assessed my mother's needs and continued to
at regular intervals as her health changed. They were a great support when dealing with social services and funding and assisted me greatly in getting the right services from the NHS etc. The carers that came into the house, and at the end this was 2 carers four times a day and one overnight, were exemplary. They were all different but they bought a ray of sunshine into the house and perked up my mother and provided good interaction with my father. The biscuit tin has yet to recover! As per the title, they were carers but they proved to be a lot more than that.

My mum, who has severe mixed dementia is post-stroke and very unsteady on her feet, lives with my husband and I. Due to a back problem myself, I needed assistance with showering Mum and also wanted to give Mum the opportunity to have a chat with other people, which she thoroughly enjoys. Of course,
this has not been possible during lock-down (she's been shielding since February) which has had a knock-on effect to her dementia which appears to have deteriorated.
The Alina Team have been wonderful, so helpful, kind and accommodating to Mum's needs. Mum still likes to be in control and the carer comes around twice a week and helps Mum to shower and wash her hair wash. She helps Mum get dressed and after, sits and has a chat and a cup of tea and they have struck up a lovely friendship. Just this hour or so gives me respite and gives Mum a chance to have a good old natter.
The carer put Mum's mind at rest from the first visit and is so thoughtful. Nothing is too much trouble for her.

I had been looking after my mother for four and a half months without any assistance and consequently I was looking for an agency to give me some much needed respite. With Alina I have not only received this but the carers have been excellent and given my mother some additional company which has been
very good for her, striking the right balance of being very caring but never condescending. This has allowed me some time to myself to recharge my batteries and consequently become a better carer for my mother.

From the first time I spoke to the manager I was completely overwhelmed by the way she made me feel reassured about putting the care of my parents in her hands. She did not disappoint along with the carer and her team mum and dad have had their every need taken care of even when we had to move to palliative
care for dad they made sure his passing was as comfortable and calm as it could possibly be. Moving forward with sadly just mum they continue to support me with mum's ever-changing needs and for this, I will be eternally grateful.
