Caremark have looked after my mum for the last fifteen months. During that time, they have always attended when due and managed the care of Mum professionally and with good humour even when it was its most challenging. They were always keeping the family informed and did all they could to make her time
under their care comfortable. Thank you.

Excellent customer service always provided, the variable staff who visit on a daily basis are wonderful, friendly, helpful, courteous and are so polite.

As a client, I think a complete reorganisation of the current rota system is needed. At present, it is causing a lot of problems and very distressful for clients and carers alike.

The office staff are very helpful in keeping the families informed at all time’s and very quickly put care back into place after any hospital stays my mother has. Living quite a distance away from my mother, I rely on the service Caremark provide and find the office staff very accommodating.

Caremark provides exactly the right level of care for my mother which, at present, is help with household chores. However, my mother does really enjoy the interaction with the care staff. They always engage her in friendly conversation and they are very kind.

It is with great pleasure that the family have the opportunity of thanking the carers of Caremark (North Herts & Stevenage) for their exceptional attention to every detail of my daughter's home care package. On arrival at my daughter's home l have witnessed, the cheery greetings and fresh news of the
day in and around the community. It's not enough but, grateful thanks to Caremark and their high standard of carers.

Very pleased with the overall service provided. Timekeeping is usually good and staff are very friendly/helpful.
We have emailed the office to suggest the use of regular carers, particularly at the weekends, but did not receive a reply!

The carer who attended me was polite, friendly, helpful and punctual. I couldn't fault her – she was absolutely wonderful. Having arrived at 9.45 pm as advised, in order to be familiarised with me, we had to wait until 10.15 pm for the person who was to oversee the familiarisation, by which time it
was too late.

Claire Evans

Job Title: Registered Care Manager

Joined: 2013

Claire started working in care in 2001 as an evening care assistant. She was soon promoted to Quality Assurance Officer, then Care Coordinator. Further promotions included Supervisor, then Deputy Manager.


She moved on to a different company in 2008 as Assistant Manager and was promoted to Care Manager in 2010.


In April 2013, Claire joined Caremark North Herts & Stevenage when the territory was established - it was an exciting time for her.


Claire managed to build the business from scratch, and she is very proud of the excellent standard of care that is provided by our Care Assistants. Claire has a very supportive team around, who ensure that the care we provide is outcome-based and person-centred.


She has attained NVQ level 5 and also has a teaching qualification.


Caremark North Herts & Stevenage is rated GOOD in all five areas assessed by the CQC.
