Vanessa joined Home Instead with more than eight years of experience supporting older people in their own homes.
She worked together with Home Instead CAREGivers in her previous role as a live-in carer in a small town. She joined Home Instead Westminster as she particularly liked the ethos.
Vanessa always finds ways to improve her clients’ day. Vanessa builds meaningful relationships with all her clients and provides exemplary person-centred care for each individual. Vanessa has become a support for her colleagues to give advice and someone to speak to.
Vanessa is a keen photographer. She enjoys capturing portraits, as well as street art. When she is home she enjoys cooking and baking for friends. She likes being outside, walking and roller-skating everywhere, come rain or shine. As she says; ‘being Welsh, I do not mind getting wet’.

Soraia joined the Home Instead family with a wealth of knowledge in care, she worked mainly with children in a hospital setting more recently but has experience with adults and senior generations previously.
She has rediscovered her passion, working with the elderly and has been such a valuable member of the team since she joined. Her clients always say how caring and loving she is, and we love it when she pops into the office.
Soraia loves dancing and healthy eating and can speak fluent Portuguese!
