Belong at Home Warrington is an affordable, high-quality home care service you can trust.

Through their personal care, support and companionship they can enable clients to continue living at home and in the community, and aim to match customers to the most appropriate staff, so that they can feel confident that their team are fully trained and qualified Belong colleagues, recruited in line with their values and supported by their in-house, specialist trainers to ensure the highest levels of professionalism and person-centred customer care.

Their team are reliable, so they come when they say they will, and they give narrow time slots for visits (usually within an hour). They believe this is important
to customers and it’s part of their commitment to promoting customer choice, independence and safety. Their support teams develop excellent relationships with customers, so much so that many report that they feel like an extension of their family.

They are experts in dementia. Every member of the team is trained in supporting people with dementia and they offer free access to their Admiral Nurse
service. This enables people to tap into dementia specialist mental health nurses for advanced strategies and support when it comes to living well with dementia.

The staff are lovely, very caring. Nothing is too much trouble. Every week my mother comes for a bath. The bathroom is spotless and very modern. After, we have lunch in the restaurant (the food is fantastic) with lots of choice, very reasonably priced. Overall I would rate the care 10/10.

We have been using Belong at Home Warrington since October 2018. This involves helping my husband each morning with getting showered, dressed etc. Monday to Friday. This helps me enormously and my husband is happy with this as it is done extremely sympathetically.

I was looking for a company that could give Mum the support she needed to stay independent in her own home. After meeting with Belong at Home I had no doubts that they could offer the support she needed. I have since met all of the team allocated to Mum's care and am very impressed with the total commitment
they give and how relaxed Mum is in their company.


Nothing is too much trouble, they always arrive on time and give Mum the full allocated time. They will carry out household tasks for her, just sit and chat or even accompany her on short walks. They also maintain a log of their visits which clearly states what they did, I find this very useful.


Another bonus is that they regularly take her to the Belong Village in Warrington to take part in the activities that take place on a regular basis. I know that Mum looks forward to and enjoys these visits.


I have no doubt that in appointing Belong to take care of Mum, I have given her the ability to stay independent in her own home.

Mum was reluctant to have any form of support at first. Eventuality she was open to the idea of a companion, Belong at home had a slow approach that enabled mum to build up her confidence, the support mum received was invaluable.

Belong at Home have been supporting my Mum for the last two months, and will continue to do so as long as she is able to stay at home. Mum suffers from Alzheimer's and is finding things more difficult. We are very impressed with the level of care they provide - they help Mum with any aspect of social
or personal care, and are always very friendly and chatty. She really enjoys their visits and it has enhanced her quality of life as she lives alone. The Manager has spent a lot of time getting to know Mum and helping to ensure that she is happy with the care provided and that the settling in period went well.


Mum enjoys seeing the same 2 or 3 faces regularly, and they are always so helpful and very respectful of her and take time to talk to her about her life and what she has been doing. We have absolutely no hesitation in giving them a glowing review as they are providing Mum with an excellent service, and also giving the family great peace of mind. Thank you for all you do!

Andy is a highly motivated and caring member of the Belong at Home team and its longest-standing colleague, having been appointed as its first community support worker when the service was launched in 2009.


Andy embodies Belong values and has worked across the various Belong at Home regions to support local teams through various challenging periods. He has been instrumental in developing the service to its current level and is committed to taking it to the next level, both in terms of business growth and closer integration with the villages to ensure our services operate in a complementary manner. He is loved and admired by customers and colleagues alike, working closely with his care team and also with other managers, providing support to all who need it. As Head of Operations (Belong at Home), Andrew maintains his focus on the customer, leading by example and showing his usual determination to ensure that clients receive person-centred support from a team in which he is personally invested. Andrew is a great example of someone who lives and breathes the organisation’s ethos, values and culture, and instils these into both his team and other managers. He is a truly inspirational individual.


Rachael

Rachael Gray

Job Title: Practice Development Facilitator

Rachael is an outstanding trainer, who has worked in the Health and Social Care sector for 29 years.


She started with Cheshire County Council in domiciliary care in 1996 and then joined CLS in 1997 where she worked as a Care Assistant and Care Team Leader before progressing to a Care Manager.


Recognising her passion for mentoring and developing others, she made the move to training company, Total People, where she worked for 15 years as a Training Advisor/Assessor/IQA supporting learners through various Health and Social Care qualifications at L2/3/5.


In 2017, she was appointed Practice Development Facilitator for Belong at Home, with responsibility for the professional development of our community support workers across all regions.


An invaluable member of our team, Rachael enjoys empowering others to be able to support customers in a person-centred way to ensure they receive continuity of high quality care.


Elaine

Elaine Wilson

Job Title: Enquiry Manager

Elaine brings a wealth of care sector experience to her role as Senior Enquiry Manager for Belong at Home and, above all, carries it out with enormous empathy and compassion.


She has supported the expansion of Belong’s home care service since 2016, providing advice, information and guidance to people seeking support in their own homes.


Prior to that she worked as Enquiry Manager for CLS Care Services for a number of years, applying her previous extensive experience as a frontline carer to bear in her ability to support enquirers through the process of finding the right care setting, as well as supporting managers to promote their care services effectively.


Elaine’s caring qualities have been honed over a long career in the care sector, which she first joined in 1988, holding a variety of roles, including Care Assistant, Activity Co-ordinator and Team Leader, before working as a highly effective Registered Home Manager for 15 years.
