We've been using Sylvian for my mum's care since she came out of hospital two months ago and we couldn't be happier with the service they provide. The carers are always friendly, patient, attentive and kind and it's very comforting to know our mum is in such good hands.

Sylvian Care have been providing care three times a day for my father during January 2025. I have found them to be reliable, efficient, and providing good communication at all times. The app they use to report on care visits is a brilliant link between the carers and the family of the person receiving
care. This app means we can check on his thrice-daily visits, see if any issues are raised or if there are any requirements for food or other household items so we can order them accordingly. My father's regular carers will also use the app for photos of anything that may need to be addressed to keep my father safe in his house, e.g. any breakages or food issues. Sylvian has organised care to work with my father's personal schedules to keep him as settled as possible within his house, and are flexible should we need to rearrange schedules. I feel very secure in that my father is receiving the best home care on a daily basis.

Sylvian Care have been looking after my father for a month, since his return from respite care. He has vascular dementia and is often confused, distressed and difficult to deal with. I have been very impressed by the carers' patience and persistence with him, and their attention to his needs: they often
pick up on health and wellbeing issues that might easily go unnoticed, and have gone out of their way to ensure he gets medical attention and medication when he needs it. Communication had been excellent: both my sister and I live some distance away, and having daily records accessible via the app is incredibly reassuring; it also enables us to pick up on things that need sorting out at an early stage. We are very happy so far with Sylvian's service.

Having never dealt with carers before, it was a daunting experience, but the Sylvian Carers and management team are extremely helpful and always there if you need something. I am very happy with the care they have given my mum, she can be difficult, but they deal with her in a very friendly understanding
manner.

I have been more than impressed with the whole team so far (after one week). The care provided is very good, and much appreciated by my mother. She was not in a good place, physically or psychologically when she came out of hospital, but is now in good spirits and feeling positive, which I am certain
is significantly down to the confidence she has in the team from Sylvian Care.
I have been very pleased with the degree of communication, and the attention to detail shown by the office staff, and from the inputs provided after each visit to the app system.
Very happy with everything.

Sylvian Care provided home visits and care to my 98-year-old mother for almost two years. She is physically very frail and suffers from dementia. Her carers were kind, patient and efficient. When it was necessary to stay longer than the allowed time, they always did. They were also responsible for administering
her medicine to her and this they did with care and attention. As for the organisation, I appreciated two things in particular: first, the ease of communication. Whenever an issue arose that needed discussion, Syvian Care were quick to respond and dealt with the issue effectively. Second, having access to the app meant I could read a report after every visit by a carer, which gave me peace of mind and reassurance that all was well. I would recommend Sylvian Care without reservation.

The care we receive for our elderly mother, who suffers from dementia, is excellent. The carers come twice daily and are always on time, very kind, caring and attentive ensuring Mum's needs are met. The management team are in regular communication with my family via email or telephone and is very helpful.
We really appreciate the care our mum receives and could not continue to care for our mum at home without this help.

My mum has twice daily support and can be difficult to coax into eating and drinking. After various different carers, now have someone who checks in twice daily. There have been some teething difficulties more to do with getting the package of care tailored to suit needs but at each stage, nothing has
been too much trouble to adjust and work around. The management team, office staff and all carers have been lovely, supportive and helpful! Thank you for all your help.

Excellent care from the Sylvian carers. They are smart and reliable. They communicate effectively with their office, who then communicate with myself and family so we can all keep an eye on mum. They are easy to deal with and always available.

Carers do a great job. My nan is a proud woman and doesn't want to bother the carers, but needs coaxing sometimes. A regular carer is great to build trust and a relationship - which we currently have and are grateful for.

I started using Sylviancare to assist with the care of my father 5 years ago. Initially, it was just for cleaning, washing and very low level assistance. Unfortunately, as my father's condition deteriorated, I had to add more and more to the care package. At every step, the assistance I received from
Sylviancare care has been outstanding. The management are extremely helpful and are very flexible in their approach. The care team is excellent and took amazing care of my father. They were very supportive and assisted my father with anything we asked. I would recommend them to anyone.

I am an elderly widow, 92 years old and suffer from a spinal disorder called Cauda Equina Syndrome. I have found it increasingly hard to look after the house and myself, especially in winter. I now need help.

My father has lived alone since the death of our mother 20 years ago. He is 85 and her death left him bereft of companionship. His health has declined a lot over the years - he has poor mobility but absolutely refuses to move into sheltered accommodation. Within the family, myself and 2 siblings live
a fair distance away from him (one abroad). The team from Sylvian are invaluable. We know that he has a visitor every day, his meals are provided, washing done, medicines checked and personal hygiene taken care of. Father is due back at home soon after a period in hospital and now requires further and more intensive care. Sylvian have, of course, confirmed they can deliver what is needed. It is a great comfort to know that at this time in his life, Dad has the care he needs.

The service has been excellent. We first needed a carer for my father. Sylviancare managed to arrange a live-in carer at short notice, which worked very well. We now need a second carer to cover the nights, and Sylviancare arranged a rota of waking carers at nighttime. Our carer has become a friend
of the family and really cares for Mum and Dad whilst finding time to keep the house spotless and cook meals for them.
