Thank you for taking the time to bring your experiences to our attention. It’s great you are very happy with your carers. Our aim is to provide you with the best possible care. I agree wholeheartedly the carers deserve much better pay, this is something we believe we are championing. As we are mostly funded by council and health boards, we have access to limited funds available. We believe we are doing our utmost to ensure the carers receive as much as possible; as one of the highest-paying providers - we also provide carers with Private Healthcare. Plus, a paid day off for their birthday. I am happy to reach out privately with you to discuss your experiences and how we can continue to improve. I apologise if you feel your experience of contacting me as Responsible Individual have not met your expectations. I wish to reassure you, we have a skilled team of supervisors who support as first point of contact. I hope to find out how I can improve awareness of contacting me, where needed.

I and the team are so very grateful for your feedback. It's a pleasure to hear that you feel the service provided by our amazing care workers is excellent at all times and that you have no complaints. I completely agree that times need improving and this is something I am currently working diligently on with our team, as mentioned in a recent letter I sent to all our ladies and gents. I appreciate you know that I and the team always do our best to try and accommodate everyone as best we can, however, this is not always possible. I am aware that visit times may have seemed a bit ad-hoc recently, and for this, I apologise. We are working extremely hard with our workers and those we support to find a happy medium on visit times that work for the majority. As mentioned in a recent letter sent to all the ladies and gents we support and their loved ones; we understand that although I and my wonderful team always do our utmost to try and please everyone, this unfortunately, is not always possible. I appreciate that your visit times may have seemed a bit ad-hoc recently, and for this, I apologise sincerely. Furthermore, I am currently working diligently on an exercise to coordinate our care workers planned visits to you and other members of our community and by virtue endeavouring to improve the rota. I thank you again for your feedback and your patients with me and my team. We are all working under significant pressure, but I can assure you I am looking into the timings for yourself and all our ladies and gents.

Diolch, thank you for sharing your thoughts and comments - we appreciate your feedback. I understand and appreciate your thoughts in relation to timed visits, unfortunately, that is the current model of domiciliary care across the nation; however, there is a new outcome focussed approach being piloted by our local authority, which we are all hopeful will improve the structure of how domiciliary care is delivered. That said, with the scale of the demand for Social Care and the limited workforce across the country. The challenges we all face are, trying to meet the support and care needs of our community with the resources our sector has available and this currently can only be achieved with timed visits assessed and granted by your social worker. We always encourage constructive feedback and expression of feelings as mentioned in the recent letter from our Director to the lovely community we support. We appreciate there will be things that work well, things that don't work as well and areas for improvement and will take your feedback onboard; with the purpose of doing our best to support change where needed. As you've identified it's an unprecedented time in Social and Health Care, and we thank you for your patience with our office and community team, while we all work together to support the delivery of the best service possible. We've been lucky enough to have new colleagues join our existing team in recent weeks and although change can be new and unexpected, it is important that we ensure sound recruitment to support our existing teams' workload and to ensure call times have more consistency.
