My mum seems happy with the care she receives, half an hour seven days a week. I am happy that she has only the two ladies attending. They are both efficient, pleasant and carry out their duties as asked.

The girls are always lovely and chat to Mum, friendly and joke, sometimes there was not enough time in between the breakfast call and Mum sleeping trough lunchtime - so was going to cut down calls. But this has now been addressed and seems to be working. I do have a favourite who is an outstanding carer
in every way - she makes every visit fun and thorough. The girls give good advice if I have concerns. I will always try to wash Mum's hair but breakfast call is only half an hour so need to fit a lot in with washdown so I like to get Mum's hair washed once per week. This cannot be done on breakfast call as no time sometimes. I feel a little awkward asking girls to wash Mum's hair at other times during the day.

I have always found staff very friendly and caring. Sometimes too helpful I feel like I belong to a big family- because living on my own people do not want to listen. But with my new family, things are different and always there.

My daughter needs 2 carers four times daily. She has to have help with all the aspects of daily living. She is usually treated with dignity and respect. The agency on a whole listen to our worries for her and her care and usually acts on them. She is allowed to voice her concerns. They give her time
to wake up, to feed her (poor chewing) and ensures she gets adequate fluid intake.

My dad received care from the beginning of March on a daily basis with help to get washed and dressed. The carer was extremely helpful and understanding with any requests. My dad became ill more frequently with hospital admissions. Each time I notified Prestige Care and I was dealt with in a most professional
manner with empathy. I received calls from the management team asking after my dad which I thought was very kind. My dad's health deteriorated rapidly increasing the care to two calls per day, again the staff acted in their professional and friendly capacity. I would recommend the care agency and all the staff and management team alike they treated us with the utmost help and support at a very difficult time.

I have always had secretarial/PA experience, working in Accountants and Property companies. When I left to have a family I felt I needed time for myself and decided to try care work. I absolutely loved visiting people in their own homes, providing them with care and support and a lovely chat. It was all made worthwhile to see the smiles on my client's faces.


I have been working in care for over 10 years in both a Domiciliary and a Care Home. I have a real passion for delivering first-class care to the clients we have and our main aim is to assist our clients to live an independent life in their own homes with our staff's support.


I have gained my NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care and am always striving to learn more about the Health & Social care sector.


Working as a carer is not an easy job, it is very emotionally and physically demanding but we have a lovely group of superheroes working for us and very much valued and appreciated. We are a care agency that really does care.
