The Home Instead team gave Mum the opportunity to spend her last weeks in her home of nearly sixty years, this was what she really wanted. Their kindness and expertise helped us through a difficult time, knowing that she was treated so well meant everything.

I felt confident and reassured from the very first contact with the care provider that they were going to put in place what I had requested to ensure my son was getting the best care needed.
On visiting the office for our first meeting it had a friendly but professional structure and the team instantly
put me and my son at ease.
Staff have been very supportive not only to my son but to myself all within a short space of time.
Staff go way beyond their duties to ensure consistency and support.
We were provided with one initial care professional who has already made a big difference to my son’s wellbeing and he is very happy with being able to get out and about within a safe environment and also have the right person to help motivate him to keep his home clean and tidy.
Very impressed and wish we had found this company years ago.

We have been using Home Instead for almost three years from a minimum of an hour a day to a maximum of 24 hours a day. During that time we have always been extremely pleased with the level of service provided. The carers have all acted in a professional way and shown the client kindness, gentleness,
patience, understanding and dignity whilst offering support and care to the family members. They have been proactive in obtaining both equipment and professional assistance from outside agencies and have always known who to turn to for help. We could not have been happier in all respects and would like to thank them for their friendliness and help.

The care from Home Instead was exceptional. I don't know what we would have done without the very thoughtful care and support. The staff went way beyond the level of service that I would have expected. Thank you to everyone involved in the care of my parents.

I found Home Instead after some research in the local area. My family required some care for my grandmother. I contacted Home Instead and spoke with the team, and they were very friendly, helpful and transparent about their service.
We organised a visit with my grandmother which went well and shortly
after 2 carers were chosen to start. Over the last year, the 2 carers have become part of the family. Our grandmother/mother loves both of them, who are different in their backgrounds and ages, which my grandmother loves. They are so so attentive to my grandmother's needs and are always there to help and support her in her activities. This allows her to continue living as independently as possible. The whole team have worked non-stop to ensure the highest service of care is provided. I would definitely recommend this amazing team, and we are all very thankful for them!

I found there was a consistently high professional and caring approach, both from the office and supporting staff to the carers. The care provided by the carers was faultless, and I am so pleased my father was looked after in a dignified and caring way.

Home Instead (Rugby) has provided daily care to my mother on a regular basis since 2018, either on a morning-only visit or both morning and evening. Every effort is made to find good matches between the client and the carer. The bond this forms is essential to maintaining the high standard of care and
support that is beneficial to the client. Mum felt very well cared for by Home Instead, including during periods of holiday and absences for Covid. This was especially true when Mum was positive for Covid herself. Our family could not have asked for more. Thank you.

The staff based in the office were always courteous and knowledgeable and always returned our calls if required to do so.
The carers were always prompt and presentable and looked after my mother in a professional and friendly manner.
In the three years my mother was cared for we never had any query
relating to the monthly invoices.

I cannot speak highly enough about the Home Instead (Rugby) team. They looked after my mum and dad for the last two years with such compassion and professionalism. Nothing was too much for them and the exemplary standard of care was so reassuring for me as I live 150 miles away. Sadly, both Mum and
Dad passed within nine months of each other but it was such a comfort knowing they were being so well cared for in their own home right up to their passing.

When my brother needed extra care after being in hospital we were given council carers, the carers were good, but they had too many clients and couldn't cope so many visits missed. We were then given second council carers who were dreadful not turning up, in and out in 10/15 minutes. We then got in
touch with Home Instead and liked what they offered. My brother loved the lovely team of carers, as we all did. Nothing too much trouble we are all grateful to them all for looking after him with so much dignity right to the end.

My husband was 93 in January 2021. He had been in hospital the previous year and had partially regained his strength. By spring of 2021, he was visibly weaker and was becoming more difficult for me, the only carer, to manage. My daughter introduced me to Home Instead and from then, until my husband's
death in August, he received daily care. The carers were always professional, efficient and cheerful. I will never forget the many kindnesses shown by all concerned. Thank you.

"The very proud owner of Home Instead Rugby. I am very passionate about our clients receiving a high quality of care and companionship within the Rugby and Lutterworth area."

Throughout her working life, Sarah has held various positions in different sectors. From Burgers bars to care homes and went on to join the British Army in the Medical Corps.

She spent several years in retail management and then took some time off with her children and ventured into child care and fostering. She mainly cared for children with disabilities and challenging behaviour.

In Christmas 2012 Sarah stumbled across Home Instead and was offered a position with the office in Market Harborough as a Client Coordinator. She vowed never to take a job in care again as her earlier experience was not very nice. However, Home Instead helped her to realise that care can be high quality and bespoke.

"The personalised care that is offered ensures we make a genuine difference to our service users and their families and for the first time ever I enjoyed going to work" Sarah commented.

In November 2013 Sarah lost her mother at only 52 years old through her battle with cancer. This made her look at her life and she decided she really wanted to make a difference. She took the leap to buy her own Home Instead Office. It is a job that she thoroughly enjoys and she has no regrets.

In her spare time, Sarah likes to spend time with her family. She has two grown-up boys.

She enjoys socialising with friends, travelling, going out for meals and a nice glass of red wine.
