Our Home Instead team did exactly what their name suggests. Their approach to support and care enabled my mother to live safely and confidently in her own home for far longer than would otherwise have been possible.

Excellent care service. Your staff helped my Mum to live in her own home until she died. An excellent reliable service. Very caring staff.

All office staff were friendly and efficient and there was good communication. All carers who visited my Uncle were kind and caring and he would not have been able to stay in his own home until he went into hospital for the final time if it had not been for their care. They often stayed with him if
possible if doctors or nurses had been called for.

My dad was an extremely independent man. The idea of him needing support in any way horrified him. However, we persuaded him to meet the care manager and from this meeting to try a small team of caregivers. He accepted this and never looked back. The care was exemplary with time taken to learn about
my dad, his likes, dislikes, what was important to him and how he needed to remain in control of his decisions, right up until his last hours. Care was kind, considerate, always gentle and even when he was being less than agreeable, care staff understood how difficult things were for him and never deviated from this presentation. Therefore dad felt able to trust the care team. His acceptance grew to a warmth for not just the caregivers but also the manager and the admin team who did all they could to help him realise his need to remain at home and die with all that he loved around him. We as a family cannot thank you enough for your genuine care and commitment to dad and his wife.

I find my carer very kind, friendly and helpful. When we are not doing practical things bath/meals etc we talk about the past and look at photos. My drawings and other activities from my younger days. I was pleased that I was able to meet my alternative carer in advance.

Very pleased with mums care from this care agency. Mums carer is a great lady who has similar hobbies to mum so on her visits they sit and knit or sew. She always leaves the house clean and tidy after giving mum her lunch.
Would definitely recommend to others.

I have been very impressed with the care given to my friend over the last 7 months when he went through a particularly difficult and stressful time. The carers went 'above and beyond' in my opinion, with genuine care, and Sarah the manager showed particular dedication in making sure his needs were
met and liaising with other professional bodies as necessary. First class!

The staff at Home Instead have been very good in everything involved with my Mum. My Mum's carer is one of life’s treasures and we are so lucky that we have her. She is committed to the job and she is fantastic. Words cannot describe how grateful we are that someone cares for our Mum as she does. Home
Instead work as a team and they are very reliable and kind which matters when you put your trust in them to take care of your loved ones.

I have been extremely impressed with the service offered by Home Instead. My elderly father is not the easiest and I live a long distance away. The carers are amazing and I am kept fully informed about changes or problems with the care. Knowing that the carers and the team in the office are so dedicated
makes it a bit easier for me when I can’t be there for my Dad as often as I would like.

Carers are fantastic - showing patience and genuine interest in my mother, chatting to her, sharing activities with her, and generally giving a bit of interest in her day.

This has been a very stressful few months for our family with both of elderly parents having a fall. I was recommended to home Instead by a friend for which I’m very grateful. The manager was responsive and understanding. The carers were lovely with my parents and really made me feel assured they
were in good hands. I recommended them to you without hesitation.

Over the last year we have used the services of the Home Instead organisation for both my parents. My mother is 93 and has advanced dementia. My father who is 95 is physically very frail and spent 4 weeks in hospital following a fall at home when he fractured his hip.

For a variety of reasons we

have had to change the times and amount of times per day that the care workers attend my parents home (sometimes at very short notice). The management team has been totally supportive and accommodating particularly with my father who can be very difficult in what he wants.

The carers have been absolutely brilliant. Nothing is too much trouble, they are kind and caring and kept us informed if there is anything they are concerned about. My parents rely very heavily on them and I feel comforted to know they are being well cared for when I am not there.

Both my mum and I cannot thank the Home Instead team enough for all the pragmatic and helpful advice and support we have had on our care journey to date. The team have been very responsive to changes in circumstances and above all genuinely supportive and concerned for mums wellbeing.

Thank you

- as a result of your hard work and helpful suggestions, mum has regained her cheerfulness and is much better prepared for her long-delayed hip operation.

The service and people are beyond reproach. The care they gave my father was superb. Good feedback on a regular basis, when I could not visit dad, and the regular reviews showed care and understanding. On an individual basis, ALL the carers gave feedback and changed how they interacted with Dad as he
became progressively more ill. He could not have been in better hands.

Home Instead provides an excellent home help service to my father.
The staff are always friendly, listen carefully, and go out of their way to solve difficulties, which means that I can relax and know that he is being looked after. When the carer cannot deal with an issue or feels that I need to be
notified about a concern (e.g. mice in the house!), the office staff/manager promptly gets in touch, so that things can be sorted out. It is easy for me to make contact with them as the phone/emails are always answered straight away.
A problem with the administrative (financial and the rota of staff) procedure was solved through excellent communication between the manager and admin team.
All the staff are willing to go the extra mile and the carers are amazing.
I cannot rate the service highly enough.

"The very proud owner of Home Instead Rugby. I am very passionate about our clients receiving a high quality of care and companionship within the Rugby and Lutterworth area."

Throughout her working life, Sarah has held various positions in different sectors. From Burgers bars to care homes and went on to join the British Army in the Medical Corps.

She spent several years in retail management and then took some time off with her children and ventured into child care and fostering. She mainly cared for children with disabilities and challenging behaviour.

In Christmas 2012 Sarah stumbled across Home Instead and was offered a position with the office in Market Harborough as a Client Coordinator. She vowed never to take a job in care again as her earlier experience was not very nice. However, Home Instead helped her to realise that care can be high quality and bespoke.

"The personalised care that is offered ensures we make a genuine difference to our service users and their families and for the first time ever I enjoyed going to work" Sarah commented.

In November 2013 Sarah lost her mother at only 52 years old through her battle with cancer. This made her look at her life and she decided she really wanted to make a difference. She took the leap to buy her own Home Instead Office. It is a job that she thoroughly enjoys and she has no regrets.

In her spare time, Sarah likes to spend time with her family. She has two grown-up boys.

She enjoys socialising with friends, travelling, going out for meals and a nice glass of red wine.
