This is the first time we have had to call in carers for a member of the family. At the beginning, Home Instead were very proactive and helpful with suggestions. They understood the pitfalls to expect as Dad has dementia. Dad's carer, who has been there from the beginning, has been extremely patient,
kind and understanding. Especially as Dad would not accept her at first. Now, however, she is his best friend and he looks forward to her coming each day. Dad's life and our lives would not be the same with his carer.
I would highly recommend Home Instead; they listen, they care, they are always at the end of the phone and able to put extra measures in place when needed.

Christmas Day 2016 was traumatic for me - my left leg collapsed from under me at my daughters in Birmingham. The local hospital could not explain why.
Home to Rugby and I needed help so went to a care home for two weeks respite which was expensive and I wasn't able to stay longer as the bed was needed
for a full-time client.
My daughter was, fortunately, able to stay with me for a few weeks until I found Home Instead in the phone book and I have not looked back.
Carers are brilliant, cheerful and very willing to do anything. A great comfort to all, including my family knowing they were helping me.
At the start, I couldn't even stand to cook etc... Now fully recovered God bless you all.

From the first day of contacting Home Instead Senior Care to the last day of the service provided, my mum and myself were treated with courtesy and care. Mum's care has been of the highest standard and truly professional. The care manager was very thorough in the initial interview and matched mum perfectly
with a very efficient carer. We have been delighted with the service given and will recommend Home Instead Senior Care to others. Thankfully mum is back on her feet now and able to cope independently with support from family and friends.

An excellent organisation which puts the person at the centre of everything they do. The management is very caring and keep me informed on a very regular basis which gives me peace of mind as I live a considerable distance from my nan.

My husband gets on well with his "teacher". She is polite and has a nice humour, explains situations, puzzles, mental and physical exercises simply and clearly. Patience is SO important and she has that. It would be hard to find another like her.

This agency has been scrupulous in providing excellent care support for my mother, despite some demanding situations.
I can only praise the staff who see Mum regularly, amongst whom there are some outstanding carers with whom Mum feels totally secure and she looks forward to seeing them each day. Even
at extremely short notice, they have tried to resolve any issues, including notifying myself of concerns which manifest themselves when I am away.
I am more than happy to see this organisation in charge of caring for my mother. It is true that sometimes the cost does worry my mother, but the knowledge of their commitment to regular staff whatever the season, does offset the concerns around costing.
I am sure that they uphold the highest standards of any agency which I know of in this area of work. One of the most important things is that they listen and respond appropriately to both my mother and myself, giving us both peace of mind.

We have been using this service for my mother for over a year now and I have nothing but praise for it. The carers are lovely with Mum and change is kept to a minimum. If there are any concerns I am always notified. I am the nearest family member to Mum and am about an hour away so this service has
made my life much less stressful personally. I also think Mum is happier seeing someone every day.

My Dad had to have Private care since breaking his leg in October 2017 as unable to get care on the NHS. Home Instead have provided a First class service to my Father by coming in twice a day for an hour on each occasion to make sure he is safe/had food and drink/taken tablets.

Home Instead Senior Care Rugby have made it possible for my father to remain at home as his Alzheimer's / Dementia progresses at a pace and subsequently his general health and well being deteriorates. His dearest wish is to be able to stay in his own home and without these wonderful people we would
not be in a position to make that happen. As a family we cannot thank everyone concerned enough; all are totally reliable, their care and kindness shines through and Dad is so happy whenever they visit. Their support is unprecedented and they are very quick to react to emergency situations. What a wonderful team from Management to Schedulers and to the most amazing Care Givers. Sincere thanks to you all.

We started using Home Instead 16 months ago and have nothing but praise for the way our father has been looked after. He has been treated with dignity, respect and love the whole time which has enabled him to stay in his own home for longer than we could ever have expected. His care has been flexible
and has changed to suit his needs as and when required. We have always been consulted when there's been a problem, advice has been given, and actions are taken immediately to solve any issues that have occurred. There has always been a team of regular caregivers, that Dad knows and trusts, and their skill and experience has given us ultimate peace of mind that nothing could be done better. It's the little things that count and nothing has been too much trouble.

I was so impressed by the attention to the details of my father's life. The managing director even took a cell phone photo of the way he liked his dishwasher to be loaded, and each staff member bent down to speak to him at his level in his chair. As I live so far away and am only able to visit twice
a year, it was very comforting to know that my father would be cared for the way that I do when I am with him.

I have been using Home Instead as companionship care for my elderly mother with dementia. The carer has provided an excellent and reliable service, not only do they supply friendship and help around the home but they also take her shopping and to appointments when I am unable to. As a sufferer from
dementia, a consistent service is a must and Home Instead have been completely reliable on both times keeping and service delivered. As I suffer from my own health issues I have been very worried that I would not always be able to attend my mother in emergencies but I am very confident that Home Instead will step in at a moments notice for me!

"The very proud owner of Home Instead Rugby. I am very passionate about our clients receiving a high quality of care and companionship within the Rugby and Lutterworth area."

Throughout her working life, Sarah has held various positions in different sectors. From Burgers bars to care homes and went on to join the British Army in the Medical Corps.

She spent several years in retail management and then took some time off with her children and ventured into child care and fostering. She mainly cared for children with disabilities and challenging behaviour.

In Christmas 2012 Sarah stumbled across Home Instead and was offered a position with the office in Market Harborough as a Client Coordinator. She vowed never to take a job in care again as her earlier experience was not very nice. However, Home Instead helped her to realise that care can be high quality and bespoke.

"The personalised care that is offered ensures we make a genuine difference to our service users and their families and for the first time ever I enjoyed going to work" Sarah commented.

In November 2013 Sarah lost her mother at only 52 years old through her battle with cancer. This made her look at her life and she decided she really wanted to make a difference. She took the leap to buy her own Home Instead Office. It is a job that she thoroughly enjoys and she has no regrets.

In her spare time, Sarah likes to spend time with her family. She has two grown-up boys.

She enjoys socialising with friends, travelling, going out for meals and a nice glass of red wine.
