Gail co-founded Hope Homecare Services Limited with her mother, Gladys Maimbolwa, in 2013, sharing a vision to provide exceptional, person-centred care. Originally working as an accountant in central London with AAT qualifications and plans to complete ACCA, Gail discovered her calling in health and social care while working as a part-time carer. Inspired by her passion for making a difference, she transitioned fully into the care sector, and the company was born.
In 2018, Gail took on the dual responsibilities of managing the business and caring for her mother during her battle with breast cancer. Following her mother’s passing in 2019, Gail stepped into the role of Registered Manager, continuing her mother’s legacy while driving the company forward with unwavering dedication and compassion.
Gail holds a Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care, a diploma in teaching, and a Train the Trainer qualification, equipping her to lead with expertise and professionalism. As a Safeguarding Champion, she ensures the safety and well-being of all service users, fostering a culture of trust and transparency within the organisation.

One of Helen’s standout qualities is her ability to provide in-house staff training. Holding a teaching qualification and a Train the Trainer certification, she delivers Continuing Professional Development (CPD) sessions and equips our staff with the skills needed to use service user-specific equipment. This capability significantly reduces waiting times for district nurse-led training, allowing us to start complex care packages swiftly and efficiently.
