Very happy with the care provided. The carer knows my mum well and is very helpful. My mum's ability to remember to care for herself is poor so having someone come in the morning to assist and prompt her is really great

Haven't used the services of TLC for very long but am very impressed.
They quickly understood the needs of the client - my husband - and quickly sourced the right person for the job.
They are both approachable and helpful.

My Mother has been benefitting from TLC Home Care Solutions Ltd services for about 3 years. They are professional, efficient, warm and show great empathy. They are very responsive to any alterations or last minute changes and always come up with a solution when anything extra is required. We could not
be happier that we have chosen such a fabulous organisation to assist Mum and she is delighted with the help and attention she receives.

Mum's continuing care from the staff at TLC is outstanding. All staff are caring and accommodating, often going out of their way to fulfil mum's requests. I sing their praises most days. Staff are very rarely late and pack a lot into mum's allocated time.

TLC Home Care Solutions Ltd have been looking after my mum for 3 years and before that my dad, both suffering from dementia.
The care provided is exemplary, I am always kept informed of any issues or concerns. All the staff treat my mum with care and respect and provide me with invaluable peace of
mind.

Found staff friendly, supportive and caring. No concerns at all with services received so far. Also gained lots of valuable advice in obtaining other services e.g. equipment needs. We’re now asking TLC for additional help as Mum is struggling more as time goes by.

TLC has made my father's assisted care experience totally hassle-free. The carers, I just can't speak highly enough about. The owner has been unbelievable and, together with all the above staff, goes above and beyond. Totally professional and wonderful organisation.

We have been using TLC for around 2 years now. TLC Home Care Solutions have been absolutely amazing in the way they look after and care for my 87-year-old dad with Alzheimer's Disease. My dad really enjoys his weekly visits. Dad has 3 hours of company and within these hours, he is taken out for lunch.
Dad really enjoys going out and about. This is important to us as it's really good stimulation for him. Dad has become really good friends with his carer. On occasions, I've needed TLC to help Dad with appointments or blood tests for Dad. Our requirements have been met with professionalism, care and kindness. I wouldn't hesitate to call upon TLC for anything. We have a ring doorbell. I often see the carer playing jokes on Dad, making him laugh. It's a pleasure to see. Thank you TLC for all you do, myself, Dad and the family are so grateful.

From the very start, when passing their welcoming Blacken High Street office and walking in for an impromptu chat, I felt this would be the TLC our Mum deserved. I was proven right. Their care went way beyond just providing a set number of care visits each day. We had a fabulous relationship with the
manager, with excellent communication, suggestions for making things easier, flexible and understanding during changing situations, helpful background experience and always willing to listen and chat things over including Mum’s worsening Dementia. I cannot rate TLC highly enough and thoroughly recommend them; I would certainly have absolutely no hesitation in entrusting some care of a loved one to them in the future. I would like to thank the manager and her superb team for all they have done. I’d certainly encourage anyone in the local area considering care for a loved one, which I know can be a difficult first step, or even seeking more TLC than a present company, to pop in for a chat.

Outstanding help and care by the Manager and her team. A very friendly and reliable service. Very caring and my mum thinks of them as her friends, not her carers. They chat with mum and make sure she has food and drink available.

TLC Home Care Solutions first stepped in when my mum needed a bit of extra help with personal care, housework and mobility and then stepped up to four calls a day after a hospital admission. The carers are all kind and friendly, always striving to get the right balance between helping and supporting
independence. Communication and feedback with me were always timely and the manager was supportive in problem-solving and making suggestions to improve things for Mum. The whole team was flexible and responsive to the changing situation. Sadly after another hospital admission, Mum has now needed to move to residential care. I am now missing TLC who were alongside in supporting my mum as her needs increased - I highly recommend the service and thank all the team for their kindness and care.

TLC are so professional and treats my mum in a dignified manner. Mum was very nervous to have a shower with someone else present, but TLC made her feel comfortable and at ease. I cannot rate them highly enough and would recommend them to everyone.

TLC Home Care Solutions provided excellent home care for my aunty who has dementia. She looked forward to her daily visits from her carer who helped her with a range of tasks including tidying, laundry, meal preparation, administering medicine and pet care. They were attentive and really took care of
her health and wellbeing. It gave us peace of mind as a family to know that a hot meal was served and meds were given. The family app is brilliant as it provided us with a daily report of the visit and flagged any areas of concern. Communication between the manager and myself had been excellent from the very start. My aunty recently needed to move into a Care Home to receive the 24/7 care she needs but I can highly recommend this care agency. Thank you TLC Home Care Solutions for everything.

I have an adult son with a learning disability. He has a support worker from TLC Homecare Solutions, who takes him out on a weekly basis. She helps him with travelling on public transport and being out in the local community, shops, restaurants, cafes, places of interest etc. Since having the support
from TLC, my son's confidence has grown, he looks forward to planning an agenda for his weekly visits and is now confident to order food etc in restaurants and ask and pay for things independently. It's great to know that I have a few hours to myself knowing that my son is happy and being well looked after by his support worker. Very happy Mum.

Excellent and very reliable service provided at affordable rates. The owner is always available to discuss service levels and any issues arising. The service provided by the staff is very thorough and friendly which helps in maintaining good spirits. TLC staff oversee medication being taken regularly
and appropriately and provide high-level support for other personal needs. Very highly recommended.

I feel blessed that my mum's carers are TLC Homecare Solutions. They have been providing her with personal care for a few years now, plus help me out with befriending visits and calls when I go on holiday. All staff are lovely and highly trained.

TLC Home Care Solutions have been carers for my 96-year-old mother since her discharge from a spell in hospital almost two years ago. Our family cannot speak too highly of the service they offer. The carers are exemplary. Nothing is too much trouble and they have become her friends with Mum looking
forward to their morning visits. They are caring, empathic, professional and punctual. During covid, precautions were and are, followed to the letter. Highly recommended.

She is qualified with a Level 5 diploma in Health and Social care and has over 30 years experience in the industry.
Carolyn currently employs 16 members of staff and has a growing client base.
Carolyn's ethos is be the difference you want to see, along with a person centered approach which is at the heart of the business and adopted by all the team.


Carolyn is extremely passionate about supporting her clients in making a difference in their daily living.

Alan is a director of the business and is Carolyn’s partner in the business sharing the same passion for care and ethos.
