I have been receiving care and support from TLC Solutions for two years now and have always been impressed by the good quality of care given to me.
The carers are well trained, considerate, reliable and friendly.
The owner of the business has a very hands-on approach, supporting the carers and the
client and I have no doubts about recommending them.

The service provided has been excellent. The staff are friendly and respectful. My mother is kept well informed regarding the schedule and any changes that arise due to unexpected circumstances. The management is efficient while offering a truly personal service. It is most reassuring to know the day
to day support for my mother is in good hands.

TLC has been providing a care service for my mother since May 2017 - initially four times a day but now three times a day. I have been very impressed with the quality of care. My mother's care plan has been carefully considered to reflect her wishes but also to cater for her needs. My mother is encouraged
to be as independent as possible. She now refers to the carers as though friends.
The agency has been flexible in accommodating some changes of times when my mother goes to church and carers have also escorted her to appointments.
The manager is very approachable. She takes a personal interest to ensure the care is individually tailored and as well as contacting my mother regularly also keeps me informed and seeks my views when appropriate.
The care provided has given us peace of mind. This has been crucial given that I (and my sister) both live a distance away.
I work as a social worker in Social Care and I know this is a 'gold dust' service.

This agency has enabled me to stay in my own home. I live by myself and my two daughters live at some distance. I can easily contact the owner on the phone who is always pleasant. We have regular meetings to discuss progress and future possibilities. She sends me a roster to inform me of times I can
expect carers and who is due to come. The carers are always kindly and friendly and take a helpful interest in my activities.
We can discuss any concerns that I may have. Before leaving they always ask me if I need anything else.
The owner always accompanies any new carer to introduce her and explain their duties. The carers write in a book what they have done so that the next carer knows any needs. For example, if one puts the washing machine on the next one hangs it up! They are happy to do any special tasks such as taking down Christmas decorations. I really enjoy their company and can thoroughly recommend the service.

My father passed away in December 2017. I cannot thank the team at TLC Home Care Solutions enough. They supported us through his final days and after. They were kind, considerate and gave my father respect at all times despite his deteriorating condition. I would not hesitate to recommend them and if
anyone is looking for care for themselves or a relative I would even go as far to say I don't think you would find better care and attention from anyone else!

Excellent service a carer goes in every day to my mum who is 95 the carer checks on her and if there's anything wrong contacts us immediately which is a great help not only for my mum's welfare but my peace of mind.

I can't recommend the owner and her staff enough. Not only have they looked after my mum well but they have provided advice and guidance which has been very useful. My mum was recently ill whilst I was away and the agency went out of their way to look after her, contacting her doctor and even staying
overnight to make sure she was ok. This was a huge weight off my mind. Thank you for all your help.

An amazing care service. The carers go that extra mile ALL the time. Friendly, adaptable, approachable, the list could go on. Couldn't recommend them enough. Having switched to TLC Home Care Solutions after experiencing not so good care elsewhere my only regret is we didn't find them sooner!

Carolyn formed TLC homecare solutions in 2014
She is qualified with a Level 5 diploma in Health and Social care and has over 30 years experience in the industry.
Carolyn currently employs 16 members of staff and has a growing client base.
Carolyn's ethos is be the difference you want to see, along with a person centered approach which is at the heart of the business and adopted by all the team.


Carolyn is extremely passionate about supporting her clients in making a difference in their daily living.
Carolyn's ultimate goal is providing excellent person centred care which is safe, responsive, effective and caring and also tailored to each clients individual needs.

Alan James

Alan is a director of the business and is Carolyn’s partner in the business sharing the same passion for care and ethos.
Alan supports some of our clients in the community and has a few regular longstanding clients who he supports with weekly companionship visits.

Carol joined the team earlier this year as a care co ordinator. Carol's role mainly consists of coordinating the team and liaising with families as well as outside agencies including district nurses, GP's and local pharmacy's. Carol has an excellent health and social care background and a wealth of knowledge and previous experience.

Charley began her career in care when she joined the TLC Homecare solutions team in May 2024.
Charley is based in the TLC office and assists with all our daily admin and also manages all our socials accounts.
Charley has undertaken all our mandatory care based training and shadowed experienced carers and she loves going out to clients alongside her admin duties and being hands on as well.
