Live In Care is dedicated to providing full-time, high-quality care at home services for clients in their homes. This enables them to lead happy, fulfilling lives while maintaining their independence.

Local social service departments and onward care teams widely use the service. Live-in Care can also respond quickly to rapid-response situations, such as hospital discharge care.

Clients receive a comprehensive care assessment by a qualified care assessor. This results in an individualised care plan that matches their needs with potential carers. The plan is regularly reviewed to ensure that the care needs are being met.

The care professionals are carefully selected and DBS-checked. They focus on maintaining the independence of individuals within their homes with a person-centred approach.

A live in carer provides personal and practical support for day-to-day activities, well-being, and recovery. The team also offers extensive assistance to families, providing information, advice, and respite breaks for carers.

Over the past year, Live-In Care have provided us with several excellent live-in carers for our elderly mother, who has dementia. It is an extremely difficult job to match carers with clients, especially when dementia is involved. Live-In Care communicated well with us throughout and were very quick
to respond to any of our queries whenever we needed them to. I have no hesitation in recommending them as a very caring, efficient and professional company.

Live In Care have been organizing care for our Mum for the last four months, they have always been helpful with arrangements and queries. The carers provided were also excellent at taking care of Mum, we were very happy to know that she was being looked after so well.

I was extremely impressed with the service, my father was been fast-tracked out of hospital and a carer was found for him very quickly. Carer profiles were given to me to assess the suitability of the carer for my father. The ladies we had were wonderful and very quickly felt part of our family, they
were sensitive in giving us time alone with my father but also there to make us and other visitors cups of tea.
It was wonderful to see Dad cared for in his own home by people who really cared for him and attended to his every need, even if that was pulling vegetables from his veg patch and cooking them for his lunch. It was a shame that Dad was not able to receive this level of care for longer.

I cannot recommend the services of Live In Care highly enough. They offer a personalised and proficient service, taking a genuine interest in the specific needs of the client, ensuring they provide the right care for the individual concerned. My elderly father continues to be delighted with the 'live
in care' he has and as a family member, I have been so impressed by the open communication and support provided.

My mum has dementia with very challenging behaviour and is wheelchair bound. Since a fall at home more than four years ago mum has needed fulltime care. Live In Care provide 2 X 24hour carers for mum in her own home and since then her physical health and well being has improved dramatically. The 2:1
care provided is second to none. The 3 main carers have become part of our family and treat mum with the utmost dignity and respect, despite mum's very challenging daily needs. Their expert, professional care ensures mum is well hydrated and nourished at all times. Mum has dysphagia which causes swallowing difficulties and means she is at risk of choking so needs a soft diet and thickened fluids which are expertly prepared by the carers. Mum has many chest infections and the carers quickly recognise the signs and symptoms, giving prompt medical intervention, which prevents hospital admissions, this is so important with mum's dementia. I wholeheartedly recommend Live In Care.

From the moment I rang Live In Care, the care and attention was amazing. All the Carers provided were kind, caring, respectful to my mother and myself at this difficult time. To me, it made mummy's last few weeks easier to cope with. Couldn't recommend them more highly and all my mother's friends who
visit commented on her Carers on how nice they were.

We couldn't have been more pleased with the service provided for mum during a short spell in her own home between a long hospital stay and moving to a permanent residential care. The manageress went to great lengths to find suitable care at very short notice over the Christmas period and kept the family
(all living at some considerable distance away) very well informed. Carers were dedicated and we felt mum was well looked after both physically and mentally. They went out of their way to fit in with her needs and she became very fond of them. On the one occasion when a carer didn't gel, she was replaced very quickly with someone more amenable. Thanks again to Live In Care (Care At Home Services). We couldn't have coped without you.

I have found this company the best among the three I have used. The staff they employ are good quality and professional. I found their charges extortionate at £120 per day (£7,120) p.a but I suppose all these companies charge the same. Nevertheless, for anybody living on their personal savings, this
can only be afforded for a certain length of time and then what? Become a charge on the state or dead?

From the outset, the first contact was compassionate and efficient. The assessor was the dame. We have had three different carers all of whom have been lovely. One has been exceptional and is with us now going through palliative care final stages. I would recommend to anyone.

The carers assigned to care for my father have been wonderful. They are hard working and conscientious.
My father's dignity is always maintained and his needs are put first.
The agency seems to require a huge amount of paperwork from the carer but I assume this is all part of the duty of care. The
agency are quick to respond to any problem and have been excellent.

Live in Care listened to what the client required from the start and have responded very quickly to any problems i.e when the carer was ill. All carers have been kind and caring. The main carer now goes far beyond what is expected and brings little gifts back from Portugal. This makes the client feel
special and not just a job. Great company and carers.

At the time I contacted Live In Care, mum's situation was pretty desperate and their visit to us in the depths of Winter was an absolute lifeline. Care was put in place very swiftly and has made an enormous difference to mum's quality of life and it is clear that with this level of support, she will
be able to stay in her own home where she is most comfortable. Our carer has become part of the family and a true companion for mum and a very positive enhancement to her life. Live In Care has consistently provided high quality carers to cover respite breaks and mum adjusts well to having someone different for a short time. Compared to ever increasing care-home fees we feel that Live In Care is extremely good value for money.

Without the excellent care mum receives from her carers she would not be able to remain in her own home. She is treated with love and dignity even though she can be very difficult at times. As a family, we are so grateful to our wonderful carers who look after mum as we would want.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  • a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.

    The 5 points relating to the number of Positive Reviews for Live In Care is based on 8 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as follows: 3 + 0.5 + 0.5 + 0.25 + 0.25 + 0.1 + 0.1 + 0.1 = 4.8

  • When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
