No problems with the care that I have received for two and a half weeks since I was discharged from hospital. Each carer has helped me with my needs and, in some cases, has helped me with other tasks I couldn't have managed.
I think the only 'blip' in the service is that I am not always advised which
carer will be calling on me and more importantly, what time I can expect them. Both morning and evening visits usually fall within a 1-1.5 hour period - difficult when trying to play my evening meal!

It has been good, especially as it has been a new thing organised for re-enablement post my grandmother's discharge from hospital. More information prior to starting this package would have helped us to understand your responsibilities, versus what is expected of us, but overall it’s been good.

Caremark has been first-class in the range of services that they bring to my wife, to the point of informing you that they have extended her expected life. They are polite, tender and caring. My wife needs four carers a day since approximately 2015 and they have helped my wife greatly on a daily basis
by being loving and kind, which keeps my wife most happy.

The carers have been excellent. They are kind and patient and listened to my needs. The supervisor has been amazing and has given me and my family lots of support and information in what has been a difficult time for us.

I was treated with great care. The carers were very attentive to my needs. Visiting times were not always convenient. Arrival times varied between 7 am-9 am in the mornings, 11 am-2 pm and 5 pm-6.30 pm. No warning was given for arrival time. Service was provided free under the NHS.

The carer is very kind and is very good at her job as a carer. She is very intuitive in terms of her ability to provide support and care. I find her very easy to relate to and feel very fortunate that she is my carer. She gives the proper and correct advice of how I can manage myself and tasks.

My mum was discharged from hospital after a stay of nearly two months and the Caremark (Sutton) team looked after her, four times a day for a month. My mum has always felt uncomfortable having help of any kind but from when I first met the carers looking after Mum, I knew she was in good hands. I loved
to witness her face light up when the carers arrived, it was a pleasure to see! Every single one of the carers who looked after Mum was wonderful and if it hadn't become obvious that Mum needed 24/7 care in a home for the stimulation of being around other people and also, easy access for visitors (she was bedbound and I don't live nearby), l would have kept Caremark on. Very happy to recommend them.

With my husband home from the hospital and bedbound have greatly relied on the carers coming in four times a day. Have found that all the carers that come are very polite and attentive to the needs of my husband. Very friendly and ask how I am as well. Extremely careful about my husband's needs and
being friendly, positive people. I can be assured that he is well looked after. They are always talking to him reassuring and showing great dignity too.

Every single member of staff, from the carers themselves, to the care coordinators, the managers and all

Caremark started to care for my mother after she had a spell in hospital over New Year. The carers are all excellent, as are the 'office' team. The care is not cheap but is excellent value for money - I say this from experience having dealt with a cheaper and much poorer performing agency before.
We
had an in-depth telephone interview with the field care supervisor from the office so that the carers were fully informed of my mother's needs, her wish to be as independent as possible and her likes and dislikes - as well as some of her personality and foibles.
Mum's quality of life and her home environment are much better than before and we have been able to contact the agency very easily with any queries etc. - which are dealt with promptly. The carers are very good at 'organising' Mum so that she doesn't feel that she has lost her independence.
Cannot recommend the agency and carers enough! Well worth the cost.

Good at personal care. I feel confident when she walks me to the bathroom. Cheerful personality and gives me my personal space. Food is always prepared on time. Good at washing, cleaning and ironing. Good sense of humour.

The carer is outstanding with my daughter, she plays with her and makes my daughter laugh. My daughter trusts her carer and she has never let anyone wash her hair but with her carer, she feels confident to provide her support. My daughter has a good rapport with her carer and a good relationship. She
always smile when she sees her carer.

My son has received care throughout the lockdown since around summer time of 2020 when he was shielding. The job has entailed looking after his personal care in the mornings, including feeding, changing, bathing him, hoisting him and going for walks. We've known up to five carers but my son usually
has two on a weekly basis. He is now back at school but still has his morning care which has been a big labour saver for me! I have overall been happy with the level of care my son has received. My only complaints would be that sometimes the office don't always process my requests or change schedule times at the last minute. My other complaint would be that there were inconsistencies with carers wearing appropriate PPE but this has been rectified. All in all Caremark (Epsom & Well, Reigate, Banstead and Sutton) has been a blessing.

I have had several carers coming to look after mum for personal care and companionship. Most of the carers have been very good, being friendly, professional and genuinely kind and caring. They go the extra mile to make sure mum is looked after. Unfortunately, the office is not straightforward to deal
with, and does not give the support and follow up I expect. It is difficult to talk to the right person and callbacks don't always happen. They also have difficulty arranging changes to the rota. Morning carers regularly arrive late, due to poor scheduling and allowance for travel time, it seems. It is a great shame that the quality care is not backed up by a good office team.

The carers are very good, they help me with my personal care, going out shopping and doing other bits and pieces for me, especially when I had a fall, the carers went shopping for me and sorting things. They are also funny and make each other laugh.

We are the neighbours and friends of one of your clients for a very long time and we meet the carers who come throughout the day. They are all very pleasant and attend to her needs daily. Pandemic or no pandemic, we see them every day and they have been doing a fantastic job looking after our friend.
The carers are always wearing their gloves, masks and apron all the time which is reassuring for the community and everyone speaks highly of them. I would have them caring for anyone I know.

Deborah Binner

In February 2013, Debbie and her husband were both unfortunate and yet honoured to see the pinnacle of domiciliary palliative care delivered in their home. Debbie's earlier career saw her presenting SKY News as a television presenter, working in healthcare PR and Media and as Head of Communications for the Department of Health. In her personal trauma tsunami of February 2013 Debbie s appetite for any prior career path evaporated forever. Debbie set up Caremark (Sutton) in July 2013 to deliver the exact same quality of care that she had seen delivered in her own home and that everyone should expect and demand for their own loved ones.


Hannah

Hannah Drury

Job Title: Operations Director

Hannah Drury has taken over from Simon Binner as Operations Director. Hannah attended school locally and has first hand experience of delivering care though illnesses within her own family - her sister and her step father. Hannah has a corporate background in the service industry. She is also currently working on an Open University degree in Psychology and has completed the Cultural Awareness module of the Common Purpose Leadership programme. Hannah is absolutely passionate about driving forward the best possible care in the whole of the London Borough of Sutton: "I've seen truly fantastic care delivered to members of my family," she says. "We can't always change what happens to us; but we can make sure we care for people with dignity, compassion, kindness and absolute professionalism. When I look at our service I ask myself: is this the standard I would expect for my Mum or a member of my family." Hannah says she LOVES working in care and making a difference.

Ron Riosa is our Financial Accountant and is responsible for keeping our finances on track and with ensuring that we are compliant and up-to-date at all times. Ron's background prior to Caremark (Sutton) was as a Fund Accounting Analyst for JP Morgan Bank and prior to that as an Actuarial Analyst for Prudential plc. Ron Riosa holds a degree in Mathematics.


Ron has helped us to accelerate the takeover of another care company in September 2014 and yet another care company in December 2014 by aligning acquired client internal processes as quickly as possible - thus minimising disruption to these new clients and ensuring their care delivery continued uninterrupted.

Julia Kenneally

Julia Kenneally has previously worked for Caremark (Sutton) as a Field Care Supervisor and then as a Care Coordinator. She has extensive experience in senior supervisory roles and in ensuring compliance with detailed systems.


Julia has a strong personal affinity with our growing customer base and is dedicated to providing the best professional care that we can to each and every customer. She has strong personal links to the geography of Sutton and to the schools and social institutions within the borough.
