Alina supported and cared for my mother when she came to live back in her home after a lengthy spell in hospital and care homes. The staff were always cheerful and caring and treated mum with dignity. Alina gave mum the support so that she could enjoy time at home living independently as she wished
to do. My sister and myself are very grateful that mum had the opportunity to do this. I would happily recommend Alina as a caring agency.

I have used Alina's live-in carer service to look after my mother for just under 2 years in her own apartment. All of the carers have been good and one in particular - who has cared for my mother for many months across 3 separate stints - has been excellent. Respite carers have also been first-rate
and communication with the branch and finance teams is good and reliable.

Alina Homecare Horsham have been supporting us for over five years. We started having regular morning visits when my mother broke her wrist in 2015. Mum had vascular dementia and lived at home with Dad. She was 87 at the time. Mum sadly passed away in September of this year at the age of 92. We will
always be thankful that Mum was able to stay living at home with Dad (apart from a few hospital stays) and in fact passed away peacefully in her own bed with Dad and I beside her. We are immensely grateful for the wonderful care and support Alina Homecare gave us over the years without which Mum would not have been able to stay at home. All the carers were so kind and she developed real friendships with them. We did not hesitate in inviting Alina to send a representative to Mum’s funeral, even though our numbers were limited to 30 due to the COVID pandemic.
Now Dad is requiring support. Alina Homecare are going the extra mile to help him too, soon to be providing live-in care. We would not hesitate in recommending Alina Homecare Horsham.

All the carers have been very friendly and helpful over the last 18 months. Their concern when my husband passed away in February was helpful and comforting. I would recommend Alina Home Care to anyone that should ask. I would like to thank them all for their help and understanding.

My mother has been cared for by Alina Homecare Horsham for some time. We have always received a high standard of care. They are kind and considerate, talking to and telling Mum what is going to happen, even though she in the main cannot talk back. The carers are always interested in what Mum's day has
been like and have suggested ideas to help keep her stimulated cognitively. The carers also care about us as a family and understand when we are having a bad day. As a family, we have been more than happy as Mum is happy.

Generally I find all the staff to be well-trained and kind and helpful. Usually staff are on time but sometimes the rota is changed and occasionally we are not informed. Considering the very difficult circumstances this year (Covid-19) I think the service has been very good and all the carers have adapted
well.

They are excellent.
They need to give the younger girls a bit of training in housekeeping. The older carers are excellent.

I found the staff very helpful during the past months when we have been trapped in our homes. Having a friendly person to talk to twice a day, when I had no visitors, was a great help. My only complaint I have with Alina's service is the lack of up to date information about the timing of visits by staff.
There have been times when they have collided with visits by other people because there has been a change of timing that I did not know about. If possible please let me know.

Alina Homecare Horsham have been amazing. The carers are extremely good with my mother-in-law, who has advanced Parkinsons.
They are very understanding and no task is too much. Because of her deteriorating illness, we need to regularly adapt her care. Alina respond in the most helpful and understanding
way. I feel so lucky we found them and would definitely recommend them.

Alina has provided my elderly father with a number of good carers over the last couple of years and overall we have been very happy with the level of care provided. Unfortunately, our experience of the administration and management of the company has been consistently poor. In particular;
- Care schedules/times
change regularly, with no consistency of service, making it difficult to plan the day or go out.
- Communication is poor; phone calls are not returned and when carers are delayed, the client is not informed.
- Invoices are often incorrect and must be checked and reissued (still awaiting a final bill).
- There was no use of PPE or testing during lockdown with multiple staff and management visiting a high-risk client.
We ended the relationship with Alina very unexpectedly following (in our opinion) unacceptable behaviour by management. To quote my father, ‘I refuse to do any more business with a company that is prepared to treat its own staff (and clients) like this”.

We are very disappointed to read this review. We provided care from November 2018 to April 2020, during that time no issues about care quality, management or administration were raised by the client or their family.
In April 2020, just two weeks into the Coronavirus lock-down, the client requested a change from daily visits to a live-in carer employed by Alina. Our local team worked hard to secure a successful outcome during very challenging circumstances. In May 2020, shortly into the new contract, the client took steps to employ the Alina live-in carer directly with consultation with our team. Throughout the pandemic, we have always equipped our highly trained care staff with all necessary PPE in accordance with the constantly evolving Govt. guidance and Public Health England protocols. The client and their family have their desired outcome; they employ our live-in carer directly, and our contract has been terminated. To leave this review without the full facts is inappropriate.

The service was started shortly after I was discharged from hospital and was to help to shave and shower me. From the beginning, I had some help shaving but very quickly I was able to cope. Showering was somewhat different only at the end was I able to cope alone.
Carers were different, some were
good and some were excellent.

A couple of years ago my elderly mum had a fall and broke both her wrists. We contacted the agency as although living close by we couldn't be there 24 hours a day. We tried a care home which we were planning to use for 6-8 weeks until mum was out of plaster however that wasn't the right fit for mum
or us. Mum was quickly assessed by the agency and a live-in carer was arranged. It was such a weight off our minds and the carer was amazing. She was funny and caring and was so fond of mum and she even came to my niece's wedding. It worked out great for all of us and she ended up staying longer than planned as even after mum was out of plaster her wrists were very weak and she was unsteady on her feet. When we no longer needed full-time care (Mum is 90 but sharp as a tack) however due to her unsteadiness we continued to have one morning visit each weekday. All the carers who visit are wonderful caring people and I couldn't recommend this agency enough.

The Alina Homecare Horsham team looked after my mother from July 2016 until last week when she moved into a care home, starting with 2 visits a day increasing to a full-time live-in carer. My mother has Alzheimer's which progressed quite rapidly and Alina was able to increase and adjust the care needs
as and when needed. I found them to be very caring and supportive not only to my mother but to me and the rest of the family. All of the carers were cheerful and gentle with my mother, enabling her to keep her independence and to stay in her own home much longer than we thought would be possible. We can't thank them enough for all of their support and would have no hesitation in recommending them to other people in a similar situation,

My need for a carer at home started in October 2018. Since being with Alina Homecare, my husband's needs have changed. They have laways moved forward with his needs. He has advanced dementia so continuity is paramount. Alina has a team of 5 carers who share his care. He knows them and trusts them. They
are fully in tune with his needs. I cannot praise this team enough for making each day a good day for my husband. Alina is very approachable if I contact them.
