I have worked in health and social care since 2003, gaining NVQ 2 & 3. I have worked for different healthcare providers which have given me a varied skill set - assisted living, establishments i.e. care homes, live-in care, and domiciliary care. I spent some time working for a small provider for adults with learning difficulties and challenging behaviour as a Deputy Home Manager and then accepted a role with a large healthcare provider as a Senior Care Co-ordinator. I then moved to pastures new working for a large coordinating company as an Adviser - supporting families to source appropriate care. I am looking forward to discussing individual care needs with families and people who wish to remain in their own homes. This will enable me to Provide our high-class live-in care service that will support that choice.

Before joining Elite Live In Care I gained my experience from working on the Isle of Wight working in Residential Homes. When I moved over to Southampton, I wanted to remain working in Health Care and found Elite. I started my career here as a live in carer so as I know what is expected from a live in carer, I can then transfer this knowledge into recruiting the best possible carers. I work closely with the management team when new referrals come in to ensure I can recruit to best match what an individual needs.

Before joining Elite LiveIn Care, I have had 15 years of work experience within the health and social care sector. I started as a domiciliary carer for a private care company on the Isle of Wight, as well as experience in nursing care homes. I have had experience working with elderly clients that have dementia, which is close to my heart. I have also worked in paediatrics which was a great experience as well as rewarding. I am now the Field Care Supervisor for Elite LiveIn Care which I am immensely enjoying. This position gives me the opportunity to pass on my knowledge and experience to our LiveIn Carers, enabling them to give the best possible care to our clients, whilst also building a good relationship with them.
