Friendly Homecare is an independent provider of care support services for elderly and vulnerable individuals. Their services are aimed at supporting individuals to maintain their independence within their own homes and communities. They cover a range of practical, personal, and complex support for older adults, individuals with learning or physical disabilities, mental health issues, dementia, palliative care needs and many other long-term conditions.

Worth mentioning as well, is their companionship support, which includes accompanying clients/service users to appointments (medical or non-medical) or going out shopping. It could also include visiting a café/restaurant or visiting places of interest such as art galleries, cinemas, museums, theatres, etc. This ensures that individuals can continue to engage in the activities that they enjoy, therefore promoting their independence, self-esteem and general wellbeing.

I struggled with some daily activities for a time and so my son researched and found Friendly Homecare to help me at home a few times a week. The carers have been coming to me now for five months and I have to say it has been hugely beneficial having them. They are always punctual, polite and very helpful,
always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that I am happy and comfortable. I've had carers in the past so I can see the difference that it makes having Friendly Homecare's support. The manager keeps on top of everything and also helps me. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

The carers from Friendly Homecare helped me to stay independent in my own home. I am very happy with the care they provide. I have regular carers who know me well and understand my routine. They are all very kind and try their best to make life easy for me. When I have needed extra help due to a fall
the manager was quick to set this up for me. He visits me regularly. I can rely on the management team to consult with my family and GP. They have helped to alert my GP about my health at least twice when I have had to visit the hospital for checks they always accompany me. At 95 years old it can all be a bit stressful for me. I highly recommend Friendly Homecare.

The team at Friendly Homecare give professional, caring, reliable support to my Uncle who lives independently from his family. As a family, we all have direct contact with his carer through a group chat. I can contact his carer directly at weekends or at a time which is convenient if I have any concerns
regarding my Uncle. The quality of care received from friendly homecare delivers very good value for money.

Friendly Homecare has been supporting my mother for about 6 months now. We have tried various different care agencies and private carers in the past and the experience with Friendly Homecare has been far and above the best one so far. The manager is empathetic and kind and calmly and efficiently found
an excellent person for the job. My mother was immediately impressed with her professionalism and we all feel she is in safe hands. Communication is good and we feel that Friendly Homecare does really care.

When my sisters and I decided we needed some extra help caring for my elderly father, we chose Friendly Homecare, mainly because they were local. We're very glad we did. My father was 90 and had Alzheimer's but was still living at home and wanted to continue doing so. In a short time, the team understood
not only my father's needs but also his character and developed a comprehensive and appropriate care plan.
They were always punctual and efficient and communicating with them was easy we found the app with reports of their visits particularly helpful. Most importantly they were genuinely caring and often went beyond what we had agreed to ensure that my father was well looked after. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

I am impressed by the caring attitude of each staff member, and by their exceptional competence and abilities. Many of them seem to be able to help in quite unexpected ways, one excelling in plumbing and other maintenance tasks, most able to help with telephone communications with outside bodies, and
all going out of their way to be generally helpful.
The organisation is remarkably flexible, readily accommodating timetable changes. The manager takes a personal interest in the needs of the client and makes suggestions when he thinks that anything should be changed.
It is reassuring to know that my mother is looked after so well.

Friendly Homecare is an excellent provider of top-quality care. We found them patient, compassionate and very understanding of our mother's needs and the tricky situation in that she didn't feel she needed help, whilst we knew she did! The manager was both professional and helpful and very experienced
in the care field. He expertly guided us through everything we needed to think about and we felt in safe hands. He totally understood our and our mother's needs and provided us with a lovely, experienced carer who was able to befriend and help our mother. We are most grateful and would have no hesitation in recommending them to other families.

We have used Friendly Homecare for a number of years and we have always been very happy with the service provided.
My elderly mother was at home with us until the end and we were able to do this as Friendly Homecare provided us with night cover. They sat with my mother all night to ensure that she
was comfortable.
The carers were kind and compassionate and they called me as I live locally if they had any concerns. The carer called me the night my 97-year-old mother passed away and I was able to be with her, holding her hand which meant so much to us.
We have used a number of home care providers in the past and Friendly Homecare is by far the best.
I cannot recommend the whole team at Friendly Homecare enough.
I would give six stars if I could
Thank you for your help, support and compassion at a very difficult time.

The carer that supports my brother has many qualities that make him exceptional at his job.
He makes my brother feel respected, valued and safe. He is always willing to go the extra mile to support my brother.
We, as a family, feel reassured
that our brother is in good hands. The carer has a great understanding of my brother's needs and has taken his time to build a working relationship but also a long term friendship.

The team at Friendly Homecare has provided impeccable care to my 89-year-old father for several years and is an invaluable lifeline of support to my mother in meeting his complex care needs, including dementia and Parkinsonism. Both managers and carers are indeed friendly, considerate, calm, courteous

Absolutely wonderful people and meticulous attention to their work and the client's feelings. Can't praise them enough! Very professional, considerate company. The manager has been very professional throughout my dealings with him in relation to the care of my 96-year-old Godfather. He’s very caring but most of all he’s patient and understanding which makes him ideally suited to this type of work. Therefore it is possible to negotiate and agree on a care package
that is needed for the particular person which makes things easy, personal and consequently adaptable for whoever is the subject matter of the care.
I would not hesitate to ask him and his team to look after any of my loved ones.

We have been so very lucky to have hit upon the Friendly Homecare agency. They have provided a consistent and caring approach to looking after my dear dad for the last 18 months, right up until his death at home in June.
The agency were able to manage from his mid-dementia stages, where he's frequently
leave the house and try and wander off, through to meal times and play times. Even when Dad has to have some overnight stays in hospital, the agency were able to supply staff to support Dad, with their familiar voices, in the hospital setting. Then finally as he declined they supported him (and us) in his home until the end.
They have been truly adaptive and effective in their care and support.

The Friendly Homecare team have been doing a fantastic job looking after my father who suffers from dementia. They have been flexible, caring and considerate for his ever-changing needs and requirements. They truly know and understand the situation and you feel he is in good hands when they are with
him. They have covered hospital appointments and vaccination centre bookings and helped on the smaller things like a haircut or a shave, no job is too big or small for the care team. We would be truly lost without them. Many thanks.

I am experienced in supporting & planning support for individuals with various health conditions and I have worked closely with multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive health outcomes for service users. Through person-centred care planning, the team and I are able to promote individuals’ capabilities, choices, dignity and self-esteem, as a means of stimulating better physical and emotional well-being.


I am also quite ardent about staff development, in order to deliver an efficient, high quality and personalised care service with a focus on interaction and involvement.
