We always listen to the customer and we offer care reviews face-to-face to discuss these sort of issues. You have not raised it as a concern before. If the care call is slightly moved, it could be due to change of route of the run or the direction where the carers come from. We have leeway of 30 minutes in order to make it work overall. We have talked to the care coordinator to see what can be done with this for now and we will amend if possible but the slots have this 30-minute bandwidth in which they can be placed.

Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, we cannot always control travel time, traffic disruptions or when people end up overstaying the previous home care visit. As per our terms and conditions, we have a half an hour leeway before or after the desired time. Also at the weekends, we do have half the capacity and we need to ensure that our runs are smooth so that means we might have to move the visit 15 minutes earlier. When we have emergencies, our staff always tries to prewarn our customers. Nevertheless, our team tries their hardest to make it work for you.

It was an unfortunate situation, and hopefully not to be repeated. When our care team gets to deal with sickness, they tend to try to move everything fast over to ensure continuity. What the team should have done to ensure your special situation was, to put the care call on an office member so we would have made sure it would have been done regardless of the sickness covering. We did apologise and hopefully, our team has learned from their mistake.

I am sorry to hear about your dismay about our service. Whilst we know you have preferences for certain carers, we try our best to schedule them in as and when possible according to their availability and that is not always possible. Looking at the continuity of your carers, it has massively improved and I feel that the team is working hard to get it right. You know we employ people from different nationalities like the NHS and we have to work with them as well as the others.
