Bluebird Care provides care to enable people to live in their own home for as long as possible, rather than going into residential care. Whether looking for care for yourself or a loved one, the team will guide you through your care journey.

Bluebird Care offers a range of domestic and personal care services, including assistance getting up and going to bed, companionship and medication, all of which are tailored to individual needs. Visits range from shorter visits every day to 24-hour care.

The team can provide help with incontinence management, end-of-life care, dementia care, Parkinson's disease care and more complex care needs such as catheter care, PEG feeding and oxygen care (this will be done with help of district nurses). There is a dedicated managed live in care team who will help you to get the right team of carers in place.

Overnight care is available for people who require full-time support, and short respite care is available for those looking for a short break from caring for a loved one.

The team pride themselves on providing a high standard of care and will advise you and your family on the best way to care for your loved one.

The team works in Totton, Marchwood, Lyndhurst and the surrounding areas. There is also a Waterside team as well as a team in Ringwood and Fordingbridge.

I am still extremely happy with the care I receive from Bluebird. I appreciate the continuity of my morning carers and random visits throughout the day and evenings. Over the last 12 months the management team appear to have become more visible and approachable. Communication is good, carers are pleasant,
polite and friendly and always professional. Overall a high standard of support and very much appreciated.

Staff are friendly and cheerful. Keeping us in touch with what is happening locally. All provide an excellent washing and dressing service. As well as doing odd jobs without being asked. Most keep informed of what they are doing and talk about local matters.

We were very impressed by the professionalism of Bluebird Care from the initial assessment all the way through our experience. The carers were well managed and showed great compassion and skill in looking after my mother at home. Without their help, it would not have been possible for her to stay at
home during her last illness. The carers helped us cope at a very sad and stressful time and allowed my mother to be comfortable and dignified to the end.

The care team who looked after my dad were not only very competent in their job but they took the time to talk to dad and bring some laughter into the time they spent with him. They were courteous and compassionate and by carrying out their care so well it allowed us as a family to spend quality time
with dad. From the management to the care team we had support as a family and the communication was excellent. We would not hesitate to recommend bluebird care team to anyone.

When I came out of the hospital after having a fall, I found I was not very steady with walking. I needed a walker and was advised to get help. To help me to walk and anything else, I now have carers which I am glad to see. I do not fall and they even make me a cup of tea. I find that these care visits
at home are very good and give you the confidence to carry on.
