Right at Home’s clients receive their care the way they want it and are involved in all decision-making, including agreement of their personalised care plan.

Right at Home understand that emotional support for their clients and their family can be just as important as their specialist care knowledge. That is why they always keep in close contact with concerned family and friends and make all records easily accessible in each client’s home so that any concern can be easily addressed through a call to their office.

Right at Home’s carers all meet strict criteria, are provided with excellent training, and are carefully matched to each client. Visits are never rushed as their preferred minimum visit time is one hour. Their carers do not wear uniforms, are dedicated to delivering care at the standard they would expect for their own loved ones, and are always ready to raise a smile.

Over the last couple of years right at home carers have enabled my dad to live at home. Visiting at 7am each morning making sure he was up and dressed, making tea or coffee for his breakfast, and most of all chatting to him all the time, also assisting with bathing and preparing tea. They showed interest
in all his hobbies and photos. I always read their reports so I knew how he was or any incidents to be dealt with. I always felt as if I knew them all but only met a couple of them. They all do a wonderful job, office staff are all very helpful and understanding, so many thanks to all.

My wife had suffered a heart attack and subsequently a broken hip as the result of a fall. Her stay in hospital was somewhat lengthy but in July we were told that she was medically fit to come home, and that is when the real problems began. The hospital were unable to secure a care package for her,
and despite our offer to assist financially with a package that would not cost the NHS anything above their usual cost outlay it was dismissed by the hospital care contracts department.
So we had a situation in that my wife was fit to be discharged but seemingly the NHS were quite content for her to turn into a bed blocker.
This was a situation that we were not prepared to accept and it became clear that what we needed was someone who knew the many foibles of the NHS and that person turned out to be the manager at Right at Home (Eastbourne). She behaved professionally at all times and as a result of her involvement my wife was home within a week and has therefore earned our eternal gratitude.

I recommend Right at Home highly, they took on my mother, who was stuck in respite care for three months. Every carer that has visited Mum has been a pleasure to meet. I'm so glad they found us and took my mum on. The support and care they give are so truly appreciated not only by my mother but also
by my siblings and me. Thank you so much, Right at Home.

We first approached Right at Home Aug 21, trying to get care in place for my neighbour to come home from respite. For a lady that never wanted people in her home apart from my family, she soon adapted well and had a fantastic experience of being looked after in her own home. I do feel that they enriched
her last year with the company they gave her and the care she received.
I highly recommend this company and their lovely careers.

As a family we are truly grateful for the care and support we received from Right at Home staff. Dad’s care package was put in place really quickly and sensitively by the office staff. The carers were kind and respected dad’s dignity. He enjoyed their company every day whilst they were tending to his
care needs. The night staff were so supportive too and enabled my mum to have a much needed break. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this care agency to other people. Thank you all so much.

As a family we were just overwhelmed by the care my Mum received from all the carers. My Mum hated strangers in her house, yet the carers from Right at Home were just amazing. Nothing was too much trouble.

At short notice, we had to arrange temporary extra care (morning and evening) for an elderly aunt who lived in a residential home and not a care home. We live 100 miles from Eastbourne but nevertheless, from an initial phone call, assessment meeting, and subsequent paperwork all was in place within
a week. All were completed efficiently and professionally.

Although the number of carers involved was not ideal we were just so grateful that it had been possible to provide what was needed at such short notice.

Subsequently, we found the ability to access (remotely) daily visit reports by the carers really useful to give us an idea of how things were going.

As it happened, we met two of the carers and were impressed by their caring, friendly attitude and their professional approach.

Our relationship with Right at Home lasted only a few weeks as we have now moved my aunt to a care home much closer to where we live. Communication throughout was excellent and I can't recommend Right at Home Eastbourne highly enough.

My parents have found the carers very very helpful, most pleasant, very kind and friendly. They always have time and patience to help Mum in any way necessary.
The backroom staff (management and admin) are also very helpful and listen to my parents needs, and they adapt to their needs wherever possible.
We
would thoroughly recommend their services.

I’d like to thank the Caregivers who are attending to my mum on a daily basis. My mum was very reluctant at first to have carers but she has now got to know them and enjoys their visits. Personally, I have only met one of the ladies and she was lovely with my mum. Thank you all for your hard work and
patience.
Also thank you to the management who are approachable, pleasant, and keep me well informed.

Right at Home have provided excellent care and support for my sister-in-law since mid 2020.
All carers and office staff have been brilliant throughout. They have all gone the extra mile to support her when needed and were able to arrange extra visits when necessary. All staff have been professional
and caring throughout, giving us updates on observations or flagging up medical issues we need to be aware of. Communication is very good.
As we are not local it is reassuring that she is so well supported and enjoys the interaction with her carers, the chats, and laughs. It has certainly made a difference to her wellbeing. Her brother and I cannot thank Right at Home enough for how well they have supported her and us when she has needed to attend hospital or Doctors appointments etc and we have not been available.
Thank you Right at Home for the work you do, especially as we are in a pandemic.
