The team at Spring Care responds very quickly and professionally to my families fast moving needs. Our requirements were met in a very timely manner so that we felt fully supported. The care staff who attended were also very effective and quickly built a strong relationship with us.
I would have no
hesitation in using Spring Care again should the need arise.

I have used Spring Care Day Care for more than two years now, my husband who has Alzheimer's loves it there. It keeps him well-stimulated which I can't do at home. In the last week I have also been using them to shower him in the morning. They have been brilliant and taken away all my stress.

Spring Care left my mother who has Alzheimer's in a dreadful state before she went into hospital. Her fridge was filthy, empty and mouldy. We’ve changed to another company, and they are excellent. Can’t do enough for my mum.
Now, nearly a year later with no contact from Spring Care since my mum was
discharged last summer - we’ve just been told by them that we have an outstanding bill of over £900!! Avoid them like the plague...

Thank you for your review.
We are pleased to know your mother is doing well. Our team always enjoyed the short visits they spent with her twice a week.
We were equally dismayed to discover your mother had no food in her fridge whilst you were abroad on holiday which, as you recall, is one of the reasons we were obliged to refer the situation to social services.
We are sorry that our attempts to recover long overdue invoices prompted you to review our business so negatively.

If you are reading this, I guess you are looking for some guidance for suitable care for an elderly relative or friend. Well, you have come to the right place. For the last 18 months or so Spring Care has been helping my elderly parents. With their care and support, we have been able to allow a couple
in their 90s to continue to live with dignity in the comfort and familiarity of their own home. The kindness, devotion and humanity everyone at Spring Care has shown to my parents has been extraordinary. We could not have achieved what we have without their support. We really are talking special human beings. A big thank you for everything you have done for our family.

I cannot fault our carer, who is cheerful, efficient and sympathetic to all my husband's needs. He is a positive addition to our lives and has made the mornings so much easier for me as his otherwise sole carer.

Good care. Pleasent Carers who show an interest in my father. Conversation is as important as care to an older person.

Care provided by the carers is good, attendance is not always at the agreed times and sometimes no carer (rare) last minute changes, problems with sickness and availability.
No major complaints with the agency. Satisfied.

Reply from Sarah Smithwick, Operations Director at Spring Care PAs Battle Ltd

Thank you for your review. I’m pleased that you are generally happy with the care we are providing - that being a Live In Carer. With regard to the double up visits twice a day and additional respite cover twice weekly that we provide to you, we have suffered for the last few months with an unusually high level of staff sickness, and in those circumstances call times may sometimes vary as we reallocate work to the most suitable carers for each service user. Sometimes Service User’s favourite or regular staff are not available, but we would always endeavour to offer an alternative care worker.

I am generally satisfied with the carers that come, willing to assist with what is asked of them.
It has happened that I did not get the privacy sitting on the toilet, but I am sure I made my point to the carer concerned.
Office staff generally very helpful, obviously sometimes messages do not get
passed on.

Thank you for taking the time to complete this review. Our Service Users' privacy and dignity are extremely important to us and I am sorry that your dignity was not respected on the occasion you have mentioned, although I am pleased that you were able to make your point to the carer and trust that this hasn’t happened again. I hope that you would feel happy to contact the office if you have any concerns about the care that we provide to you. With all best wishes, Sarah.

Carers are always cheery and very professional in their work. They always complete their daily tasks. I'm kept informed if carers cannot attend and a replacement is sent. The only complaint is that the carers do not always attend at the correct times asked for.

Reply from Sarah Smithwick, Operations Director at Spring Care PAs Battle Ltd

Thank you so much for your review. I’m very pleased that you are on the whole very happy with the service we are providing. We do try hard to ensure that the call times are consistent and at the time each Service User has requested – there are occasions when staff are on holiday or unwell that call times will vary, although we would always endeavour to let you know of this in advance. With all best wishes, Sarah.

I had always dreaded having to source 'Care in the Home' for my Mum who is now 90.
When that day came, which it eventually did, quite suddenly, Spring Care was there to help us.
They stepped up to the plate immediately with a care plan that has been running smoothly and efficiently ever since.
Their
professionalism has provided a regimen that has helped us to enable my Mum to remain in her own home, so far, where she dearly wishes to be. A big relief to us also.

It is my honest opinion that Spring Care provide an outstanding service.
Their matching of personal assistance to the client is remarkable (my wife is a dog lover and so are her three personal assistants).
Her personal assistants have bonded well with her and myself.
All staff are polite and respectful
and do their utmost to fulfil our needs and requirements.
