From our very first contact with the managers, we knew this was the company we wanted to help share the care of our 95yr old father.
My sister and I live away but spend part of each week staying with our Father. We share care with Unique and this works extremely well. Unique has been quite happy to

work in this way and nothing has been a problem. As well as day visits from Unique my father also has sleep in care twice a week. The combination of family care and Unique is enabling him to stay in his own bungalow which is his wish.
As a family, we are confident that Dad is taken great care of when we are not there. This was not the case with the previous care company we used.
Unique staff are professional, helpful and most importantly caring and kind.
We would have no hesitation in recommending them.

My nana really enjoyed the company of her carers. They supported her and were extremely friendly. They were well equipped to look after people with dementia and we knew she was always safe and well cared for with this agency.

Overall, my wife's care package provided her basic requirements quite well. Despite periods of not knowing if and when the nominated carers would turn up, as, at times, there seemed to be a high turnover in personnel and the visiting times would change at the last minute. The app was not very successful

when changed over. The present carer is excellent in everything she did and was really appreciated by my wife and myself.

Hi J C, many thanks for your review. We provided 4 consistent carers in 2 years with a discussion when a carer left for a replacement who was personally matched. The app has given an opportunity for clients and families to be part of the Careplan, risk assessments and can see logs for the day as well as who went and when. This has given great peace of mind for families loving away from mum or dad or who are working long hours. Understand technology may be different for everyone but we believe the peace of mind for the majority was of benefit and there has also been lots of opportunity for the app to be demonstrated.

I have been very pleased with the service provided. The company have been proactive in responding to changing circumstances and problems that sometimes arise. The staff are always friendly and helpful and communication is good when circumstances require an exchange of information.

Overall Experience

My mother's carer is the most friendly, hard-working person I have met. Nothing is too much trouble. She is so good with my mother and can make her do things that I could never get her to do i.e. shower. She is a pleasure to have in my parents home.

Unique Homecare Services have been professional, caring and well organised right from the outset.
Furthermore, the management is well educated in the specific needs of dementia care.

Overall Experience

Since the carers from Unique Homecare started to attend my Brother-in-Law, I have found their care to be very professional but friendly. I am particularly impressed with their knowledge and specialised care for people with dementia. This is important to the family.

Overall Experience

I cannot recommend this company enough. From the very first meeting to discuss my elderly Mum's needs to her weekly visits to prepare my Mum's meals, the service given has been exceptional and totally professional. Added to which the company operates an app system which allows the client's family with

an updated record of the carer's visit, which we found invaluable and gave us complete peace of mind.

The standard of care delivered by the carers is excellent. They are sensitive to my mother's requirements, cheerful and willing to oblige. She enjoys their visits. Some problems with timings from time to time but usually due to staffing emergencies (illness etc.) and these have been dealt with in

a polite and professional manner.
