Nash Homecare has more than 20 years' experience in delivering personalised home care to clients in Hemel Hempstead, Berkhamsted and Tring.

The company has links with Nash chemists and build strong relationships with local GP's, district nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, hospital discharge teams and social workers. Their holistic approach to home care is designed to reflect on the health, social and emotional preferences of all clients.

Keeping clients happy and supporting their independence is their ultimate aim. Care staff can provide hourly calls throughout the day and night and appreciate that each client is different, tailoring care plans to their individual needs.

I have read the reports that the Carers wrote each day that they looked after Mum whilst I was on holiday. When there appeared to be a problem with medication I was alerted to this (I had asked to be contacted in case of any problems), then the Supervisor made contact to talk this through and decide
on a way forward, whilst I was away.


Mum has told me that all of the Carers were lovely and she enjoyed seeing them each day.

We understand at Nash Homecare that flexibility is needed in care as things arise suddenly or sometimes things just don't go to plan. The carers are fantastic and supportive. My Nan recently became confused and the carers picked up on it straight away and called the family. We were able to get a doctor to check her over and get antibiotics for a water infection. The nurses who visited said how lucky we were to have carers to note
and act so early before she became ill. Nan wouldn't be able to be in her home without their support.

My mother has been very happy with the care she has received from the girls at Nash Homecare. She looks forward to seeing them and they are helpful and kind. She has help with bathing and light housework. The care she has helps her to stay in her own home which makes her happy.

Nash Homecare have been looking after my father for the past few years. They have and continue to provide an excellent service for my dad ensuring all his daily personal care needs are met to continue to support him living at home. The individual carers have all built a good rapport with dad and know
him well. At nearly 97, dad feels very supported by Nash Homecare and is grateful that he can continue to live at home.

Originally I contacted Nash Homecare to provide support for Mum while we were away on holiday. Since a change in circumstances, we needed to organise more support on a daily basis. The team were so helpful and set up twice daily visits and managed to sort out times that are suitable for Mum. This was
very much appreciated during what has been a challenging time. The staff are friendly and professional and I am pleased to recommend them.

I started using Nash Homecare for my mother a few months ago due to a shortage of staff with our personal carers. The team at Nash came and did an assessment straight away and were very accommodating with our last-minute needs. The carers are friendly, on time and pay attention to detail. The team at
Nash look after my mother very well and it never feels like strangers are entering our home! Nash strive to provide person-centred care throughout their time with us and I believe this is one of their main focuses when providing care for my mother. Nash try their utmost best to ensure needs are met and I would recommend Nash above other agencies.

We have just started using Nash Homecare after my Mum suffered a nasty fall and needs help with getting out of bed, washing and dressing which may only be needed on a temporary basis. I contacted Nash Homecare and they responded immediately and arranged the assessment and carer within a day which is
exactly what we needed. They were very professional while also being very friendly and made Mum feel comfortable immediately. Obviously, it is still early days but what we have seen so far has been excellent. Knowing the carer is going to be there at a specific time reassures myself and Mum. We will continue to review her progress but it helps to know that Nash are very flexible in that we can reduce or extend the amount of care she needs.

I have nothing but high praise for Nash Homecare. We engaged with Nash to look after my mother following a fall and a stay in hospital on returning to her home. My mother stayed in hospital a few more days than expected - but Nash was very flexible in starting her care plan. In fact, it started the
day she got home from hospital! The Nash staff have been, and are, fantastic and my mother enjoys them coming in to support her.

We joined Nash Homecare this year and can honestly say that this agency offers the creme de la creme of care. My elderly mother has complex healthcare needs and, as such, needs carers who can offer her a holistic approach in order for her to live an independent and enjoyable life. Before joining Nash
Homecare we had experienced a horrendous time with previous care agencies including staff that would fail to turn up, the management failing to support or understand my mother's needs and it had become a constant struggle for us as a family. With Nash Homecare things couldn't be more different, I never have to worry that Mum will be left without care, the management at Nash are always there for us whenever we need it and their communication, reliability and professionalism is unwavering.
The carers are all so kind, empathic, professional and genuinely caring. The support they offer Mum, and their person-centred approach, means Mum has been the happiest I have ever known her.

I haven't met the carer but Mum and Dad are very pleased with the service they receive, which is a huge relief to me. Although currently the carer only comes in twice a week for one hour, she is very flexible in what she does, depending on the need on the day. We will probably look to increase the duration
soon. The only reason for not choosing Extremely Likely to recommend and Excellent ratings, is that I have no other experience to compare this company with.

My dad has been receiving great care in the two years but lately, he has needed extra care. Nash have been great at arranging additional support at short notice, making suggestions about what else can help Dad and our family keep track of things. They are effective, caring and compassionate. This is

I have MS, and need personal care, provided by Nash on a daily basis for the last 20 months. I am in my 50's, still working remotely and living alone so I value being as independent as I can. I feel that not only does the company provide great service, but they do also care about me as an individual.
The last year has shown very clearly that the carers who help me have the same values, I am unstable at times and they get the balance between my need to do things with a gentle hand to help. Even my two cats, who are part of the care plan, love to see the carers and get positively grumpy when their favourites are away! This last year, when the carers needed to deal with anti-COVID measures such as additional PPE and in the general uncertainty, I have found I can rely on them more than ever and value the professional but friendly service they give.

My ex-husband has received excellent care from the Nash staff. They are all thoughtful, pleasant, helpful and treat him with dignity. Also, the managers keep in touch with me about how he is getting on and if they think that anything can be done to adjust his care to his changing needs. They have been
very helpful in this regard. I would fully recommend them.

Nash have provided care and support to my mother over the past 18 months since she had a fall. The staff have been excellent, and Mum has been treated with dignity and respect at all times. On several occasions staff proactively contacted us when they had concerns about mum’s health, and this has helped
us get the required medical support in a timely manner. My brother and I are reassured that mum is being supported so well and able to remain in her own home.

Initially, Nash Homecare provided me with care one hour a day over seven days. This was reduced to four days a week at my request in the summer and further reduced to three days per week. The reduction was due to improving my health on my part. I now have the same carer coming to me Mondays, Wednesdays
and Fridays. I very much like this consistency as this carer really knows my routine and more importantly, provides outstanding care. There were a few hiccups administratively during the first lockdown, however, these were rectified to my satisfaction. I would recommend Nash Homecare to others without reservation.

I found my main carer excellent. She was professional but approachable and friendly. Whilst she took the initiative in many respects, she allowed me to gain independence and autonomy. Other carers who did not care for me as often as my main carer, quickly acquainted themselves with my needs and abilities.

I would say the team were professional and flexible as times needed were not really known. Considering the time scale, I thought we were lucky to get such a professional company. They are certainly a company to keep a note of in case of future need. If it was provided by the NHS, your mum would have
been better before they had set it up.
The assessment was thorough before the care started so the team could find out exactly what was needed.
