Bluebird Care prides itself on keeping people happy and safe in the comfort of their own homes.

The company is a leading UK provider of care and support at home. It has been operating since 2004 and has established a reputation for delivering unbeatable high-quality care across the community.

Bluebird Care St Helens is an award-winning company that offers an extensive range of support starting from 30-minute visits up to 24-hour support including assistance with personal care, companionship and outings, medication administration, domestic duties and much more.

They offer live in care services and short term respite packages. Their compassionate, cheery, highly-trained team ensures each and every customer is listened to, cared for and continues to live the life they wish whilst working alongside other health professionals to ensure needs are met.

Live-in care support is also offered to provide an alternative to a residential home, so that the customer can remain within the familiarity of their own home but with full-time support and companionship, including the social aspects of eating a meal together and social outings.

It is the attention to detail that makes the difference and Bluebird Care enables people to have the choice to remain at home rather than moving to residential care. With the extra support, many people have benefited from an improvement in the quality of their lives and the opportunity to continue to do the things that they enjoy. Family members can relax, and even go away, knowing that their loved one is well cared for.

I have found Bluebird Care to be excellent. Nothing seems to be too much trouble, small changes can be implemented quickly and easily and the have gone above and beyond to help keep me updated on things that could affect my Mother's care.

Staff are fantastic with mum. They all treat her with dignity and respect and offer encouragement in making her own choices and promote independence in things she is able to do for herself. Really great team!

Bluebird have helped us keep my mum living in her own home. They provide a great service. Their carers are professional and caring, going up and beyond. Which in turn give our family satisfaction knowing our mum is cared for and safe in her own home.

Reliable and friendly carers helping Mum out of bed, washing and dressing and making breakfast. Same in the evening helping her get ready for bed with gaps filled by family care.
In her late 90s, things were getting tough at home but this service has helped her stay in her own home and is providing
reassurance to my brother and I that she is safe and cared for.

The staff member allocated to my mam has been wonderful from the start and the assurance I get before and after each weekly visit is tremendous. The particular requirements (call 10 minutes beforehand) really help and the relationship is very positive and caring.

Bluebird Care is a company you can trust and rely on and I highly recommend them.
The management team, supervisors, carers and all the staff are a pleasure to deal with and always treat my dad and I with the utmost respect.
On two occasions in June and covering several days, I needed some evening
"sits" and night "waking sits" for my dad at very short notice. Bluebird Care, once again, provided carers to cover these sits and I felt relaxed leaving my dad in their capable hands.
Most importantly, my dad was happy and comfortable with the carers who provided first-rate care.

We have had this care provider coming up to three months. Although they are still familiarising themselves with Mum and her care needs, they are looking after her extremely well. Customer Service, Supervisors and the organisation is very efficient.

My Father has been receiving care in the evenings for approx. 18 months now. This gives me a level of reassurance as I live 220 miles away from him and I know someone will see him each evening to check he is safe.
He is happy with the carers who visit and on several occasions, I have been with him
when a carer has arrived and I have found them all very nice people.

My experience is that the staff work hard at building up a rapport with clients, getting to know their interests and experiences. Living some distance from St Helens, the daily updates are full of detail, putting my mind at rest. When required to speak to the office, the staff are knowledgeable and
demonstrate a desire to put the client’s best interests at the centre of any resolution. Overall, very impressed with Bluebird Care St Helens.

We started using Bluebird Care in October 2023 when my grandfather's health started to decline. They have been very accommodating with care call changes. They are more than happy to complete anything that my grandad requires, they are very observant with his needs and will inform us of any problems
he may have. My grandad also adores all his carers and says they are always happy, smiley and love a good chat. Couldn't be happier with them as a care company.

Reply from Caitlin Bradley, Registered Manager at Bluebird Care St Helens

Thank you for your lovely review. It has been a pleasure to support Grandad and the family through this period. We look forward to continuing support for you all.

Following a crisis in my mum's home (leaking roof) the Bluebird Care St Helens were magnificent in arranging to go round to my mum's home and reassure her that things would be fixed (this happened on a Sunday evening). Also arranged to keep her company until a family member could come to her house to
be with her. Living over two hours away I could not thank Bluebird Care St Helens enough for "going the extra mile" and providing reassurance.

This is the first time we have had to have this homecare, wasn't looking forward to it to be honest, but the girls/lads who have been here have been excellent in the way they have treated my husband and me. Couldn't ask for anything else, I feel like they go above and beyond to make sure he is comfortable.

Exemplary care provided by Bluebird for Mam following discharge from hospital. Every carer was so caring and always went above and beyond to make sure Mam was cared for in the way she wanted. The carers were so professional and friendly and took the time to speak to Mam and the family members and they
remembered everyone’s names.
The staff are very well trained and know exactly what they are able to do and not able to do and the reasons behind this.
The team responded within 24 hours to doubling up the carers for each of Mam's four daily calls when it was needed.

Thank you to all the carers that helped to look after my late mother during her final days. I am grateful for all your kindness and the support you gave Mum. It was Mum's wish that she could die in her own home. It was because of the help from Bluebird that we as a family were able to fulfil this wish.
I appreciate it more than I can say. I am very grateful for everything the carers did. They were all very friendly, professional, caring and supportive. They always treated Mum with dignity and respect. The care provided by Bluebird was of the highest standard, reliable and always trustworthy. As a family, we have nothing but praise for the care and support we received. A big thank you to all of the carers who provided care for her.

We have used Bluebird care services for the last couple of years for my mum who has dementia. We mostly have a lovely, positive lady who is mum's main carer and I can't say enough good things about this dedicated carer. She is always bubbly and friendly but more impressive - she often goes over and
above her duties to make sure my mum is as well as she can be and is comfortable and not anxious before she leaves, even though she is rushed to get everything done in the time allocated.

Not all carers are as dedicated and thorough as mum's carer which is why she is worth her weight in gold. She is a great ambassador for the Bluebird brand and I hope we will continue to have her as my mum's carer in the future.

Thank you Bluebird Care St Helens.
