The service provided is excellent. My Uncle is a very proud and discrete person. However, the carers have made him feel very comfortable and relaxed about receiving care and support in his own home. I would like to say that it has been a great comfort and relief to have such a wonderful service. Thanks.

I arranged for 'Right at Home' to provide a daily care visit of 45 minutes for my elderly father, aged nearly 92 years old. He is widowed and lives alone in a small bungalow. Initially, I was a bit apprehensive about how he would react to having such visits daily. However, since they commenced, one
month ago, his physical and mental health have improved significantly. He actually looks forward to the visits, even if he may not admit it... The professionalism of the staff who assessed his needs and make the daily visits is exemplary. It is also helpful that, although it is not the same individual visiting every day, I think there is a maximum of three carers involved in his visits. Therefore, he gets to know them individually, which is helpful. I have regular email exchanges with the supervisor so am informed of any issues. In summary, I am very pleased with the way this has worked out.

Thank you very much for this kind review. We will make sure that this is shared with the regular CareGivers visiting your father.

Mum has used Right at Home since my father passed away nearly two years ago. Mum has dementia but is very independent and wants to stay in her own home. Right at Home has made that possible. We have worked together to build the care up as her needs have changed and she now has carers twice every day.
They have been vital during lockdown, doing Mum's shopping, making sure she eats properly, taking her out for walks and being company for her. Her main carer emails us every week and sends us photos from Mum and gave us her number so we can video chat with her. That has made such a difference to us all as we have not been able to see Mum for weeks. They are a lifeline and I can't praise them enough for their care and commitment.

Thank you so much. It's a real pleasure to read this review and know that the service we are providing your Mum is having a positive impact on her and also to you and your family.

My mother has been receiving care for 18 months and I have nothing but praise for this company. The care staff are exceptional and go above and beyond for their clients. My mother recently had a gas leak at her property and the carer sorted it out for her and even went back later in the day to check
she was OK.
Despite being in very difficult times the service has remained the same, exceptional. The office staff are super-efficient and very quick to respond to any requests or queries.
A huge thank you and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

I have been impressed at the care and courtesy extended to my mum and to the whole family. The main carer for my mum sends us a mail every week since we’ve been unable to travel to see my mum and she sends photos and a letter from my mum. My mum enjoys the help, conversations and the encouragement to
exercise and to try different ways to entertain herself. The carers ensure Mum is fed, her shopping done and check things that may be upsetting to Mum. They make sure Mum’s day to day well being is supported and contact us if they have any concerns. Essentially, they have become our eyes and ears during this lockdown. Right at Home increased the visits as requested very quickly once it was clear Mum was going to need more help during this period. We could not do without Right at Home.

I found all the staff to be courteous, professional and friendly. My father, who was initially resistant to having carers, was completely "won over" by them. I had no hesitation in entrusting him to their care. They also provided me with good guidance and advice as his disease progressed and his condition
deteriorated. I will always be grateful, particularly to those staff who were his carers.

My wife has been suffering with Dementia for 10 years now and it has been difficult to obtain carers she would accept in her house.
We have worked with Right at Home for 3 years, and over the last year, with the help of medication and considerable input from Right at Home, we have found a number of
really good carers that she now accepts as friends.
We recently increased the hours from 4 hours a week to over 30 hours, due to my illness and Right at Home were able to fill these requirements quickly and we are now having a number of different carers who take great care with my wife.
The one thing they all seem to have in common is the training and the wish to treat my wife with dignity, but also to become her companions.
Having had a few weeks with the increased hours Monday to Friday it was noticeable that on a Saturday and Sunday without the carers that she was missing their company. This to me is proof that they have formed a very good relationship with her.

My aunt moved into her retirement home earlier this year. She is 90 and has many independent skills but a terrible short term memory!
The visits from her carers have changed her life. The morning hour helps her make certain her hearing aids are in, medicines taken and that she knows what is happening
that day.
The carers are lovely, they check she has milk and treats and take her to get them if she wants. They have helped her join the library and change books etc.
My aunt says she now feels safe and isn’t anxious about day to day things any more.
I feel confident that if I can’t pop in my Aunt will be fine! All the carers are kind and proactive. My aunt is very proud and she has been able to maintain a great deal of her independence - I can’t thank Right at Home enough.

Thank you so much for your kind words. We will ensure these are passed on to the CareGivers supporting your aunt.

I have had 'Right at Home' helping my Mum for the last 10 months. I am very pleased with the service. All the Carers are kind and efficient, and my Mum gets on very well with them, and always enjoys their visits. It is good that the visit is a minimum of one hour, as she especially enjoys the chats
she has with them and finds the visits relaxing.

The carers have always been on time and I have never had a problem of missed appointments. They have been helpful, and are proactive and able to sort minor problems in the house when needed.

The carers help Mum to get up in the morning and to go to bed at night and it is a relief to know that she has someone responsible at these times to check on her.

Excellent, reliable service. Very caring staff who are willing to go the extra mile. My mother-in-law was more than happy with all the carers and loved the company they gave.
She was able to stay in her own home with total reassurance she was going to be well looked after. I would highly recommend

Introducing the carer, first of all, happened once a week and on a companionship basis which has been very successful. She is inventive and seems to be able to engage Mum in different and inventive ways. Mum looks forward to her visit already and her carer has also been most co-operative when asked
to switch visiting days to suit. I have yet to meet her but have every faith in her value.

Staff at the Nantwich office are very helpful and understanding, always willing to help improve the care my grandmother needs.

All her personal care is met especially when it can be hard with her having dementia. The way the staff are trained to deal with how the carers care for dementia clients

is wonderful. So patient and understanding to reassure the client they are safe and happy. With dementia patients they need routine and that’s what Right at Home offers. Overall Right at Home was the right company for us and is always there when we have problems or questions and always will to go the extra mile so all my grandmother's needs are meet with having her stay at home where she’s the happiest.

We have found the care provided to be of very high standard. Whatever has been asked of the carers has always been carried out. If there is any problem, no matter how small, the carer on duty at the time will make contact and let you know their concerns. My father had a fall whilst I was on holiday
and the carer stayed with him until the ambulance arrived, even packed a bag for him. They waited until the ambulance arrived and took my father to the hospital before they left. I have much admiration for the job they do. A big thank you from my brother and myself for looking after him so well.

My husband suffers greatly from a number of medical problems. To be mobile at all he needs to use crutches but after a recent fall he broke his wrist, therefore, was unable to walk. On being sent home from hospital and told to return the week after we were both in a state of utter panic as to how to
manage and who to ask for help. By an absolute stroke of luck, we contacted the owner and his team at a moments notice he sent help to us over a weekend when it seemed like no one else operated at this time.

It has been a life long passion of mine to run my own home care business. I’ve worked in the home care sector for almost 15 years, including time spent as a CareGiver working my way up to being a Registered Manager and latterly as a part of the Senior Management team with a market leading national home care provider.

I have a Level 4 NVQ Registered Managers Award and am an active Dementia Champion in Crewe and Nantwich, delivering free information sessions to organisations and business' to help create a dementia friendly community.

My real motivation comes from my Grandad who sadly passed away in 2014 following after living with Dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease for nearly 10 years. I grew up in Kendal, in the Lake District living next door to my Nan and Grandad and enjoyed many great years working for my Grandad in his family run paint and wallpaper shop. As my Grandad’s Dementia progressed, he, of course, needed support and care as he started to struggle with his normal daily routine, and unfortunately, although much of his care was excellent, this wasn’t always the case. I use this as my constant guide to the quality of care we provide our Clients – “Would it have been good enough for my Grandad?” The answer must always be yes.
