Caremark Rotherham & Sheffield supports people to lead an ordinary life with support in their own home environment and the local community.

The service supports children, young people and adults living with disabilities and complex health conditions to lead a fulfilling life in their own home and community.

Staff work hard to understand the person and see beyond the condition and focus on what can be achieved considering an individual's needs and aspirations.

The complex care team of support workers are trained to assist people living with specific health conditions. On many occasions, clients are involved in recruiting their care and support worker to ensure their specific requirements and personalities are matched with specific staff.

Caremark provides support that is developed with the individual to ensure it meets the needs and aspirations of clients. Support with daily living tasks, personal care and social activities can be extended to educational settings, supporting people into nursery, school, college and into the workplace where appropriate.

Many of the people supported have enjoyed weekend breaks and holidays with support from the dedicated, knowledgeable staff, enabling them to engage in community activities and enjoy time away.

Please contact the team to discuss any element of their service; they are on hand to develop a service around what you need.

We communicate regularly and have been with this provider since 2022. We have fine-tuned the service we receive by contacting each other often. They very rarely cancel as well which is excellent. This assists with school care, medical care and trips out and about in the community. We have a regular
group of carers who understand the client's needs well.

Our son has been with Caremark for just over a year now after we moved from a different provider. I can honestly say that the care he has received has been excellent. Caremark have gone out of its way to find staff members whose personalities match our son's needs and have gone above and beyond to help
out and provide care in difficult times, even when last-minute changes are needed. We are very grateful to their wonderful carers and staff who always brighten our son's days. And even during the busiest of times, they are never too busy to create little extra surprises, like when the Easter Bunny or Santa pops around for a visit! We appreciate everything you do!

Louise Clarke

Job Title: Assessment & Recruitment Officer

Louise has worked in care since the age of 16 gaining experience within elderly and young physical disabled care in residential settings. Louise then started Nurse Training in 2004 but soon decided she would prefer to progress in social care rather than Nursing/Hospital settings. She then went on to work in the NHS as a palliative HCSW at Bassetlaw hospice and then as a rehabilitation assistant in the community before having a short break to raise her family.

After Louise had her 2 children, she then went back into residential care and progressed into management, working as a shift leader for Rotherham council on a 30 bedded EMI unit. Duties included managing the shift and care staff, undertaking care planning, risk assessing, staff supervisions, liaising with and following instruction from GP’s and other health care professionals.

After working long hours and weekends, Louise decided to look for a role where she had more of a work/life balance and started her role in April 2021 as the Assessment and Recruitment Officer role at Caremark. Louise enjoys learning about the children we support and writing unique and individual care and support agreements. The recruitment side of role can be very rewarding at times, meeting, and finding out about different people and their experiences.

Since working for Caremark Louise can now spend a lot of her time with her two sons and their Dad attending their football matches and cheering them on! She also enjoys spending time going out as a family and socialising with friends.

Louise is a very valued key member of the team, and we value her input every day.
