Our Mum has been cared for by Amily's carers for nearly 2 years. It's scary choosing a care agency, but we have absolutely no regrets about choosing Amily. The carers have always treated Mum with respect and warmth. Mum was resistant to letting carers support her but they gradually won her over.
Apart from the care, Mum enjoyed the regular contact and the chats. The management team have been so helpful and responsive when changes in visits and medication have had to occur, even at short notice. We also greatly appreciate that we can log into the app to see notes on how Mum is after each visit. This has been very reassuring. My siblings and I are so grateful to and appreciative of the whole Amily team. Thank you, everyone!

My Mum is so happy with the level of care she gets. The regular visits are invaluable and the friendly staff are wonderful with my Mum. They treat her like a person not a job. I'm always kept up to date via the app and phone calls or texts if required. The office staff are approachable, friendly and
listen to all concerns and requests. I have peace of mind knowing my Mum is being looked after every day. I would recommend.

Amily Homecare have been excellent from day one...2018 I believe they started care with my mum who had a stroke back in 2017 and my mum is a very hard negative person to care for. I cannot praise them more excellent service kindness patience and compassion. If I have to phone the office for anything
they always pick up 24/7 which i am so appreciated of. Always on hand. The girls always log any concerns wether it be mums health or shopping dealing with daily issues they always phone me if any thing occurs . I don't know how to say thankyou for helping mum out and full hearted appreciate the services the give. Thankyou X million times over and more . When I ask my family to help out there's always a excuse so I end up trying to do it by myself but Amily are like a second family ready to help out. Thankyou xxxx

Amily has been providing excellent care for my mum, who has vascular dementia, since January 2024.
My mum was very averse to carers helping her, but now accepts Amily's carers. She has good and bad days but the carers are very good at calming her down.
They are all very efficient and report any issues
on the app and the office always follows up with a phone call. I regularly speak with 3 members of management. My calls to them are always answered promptly even at weekends.
They supervise Mum's medication 4 times daily check her fridge for out-of-date food etc and report on the app if runs out of anything.
Last month the breakfast carer found Mum had a fall, called an ambulance, and waited with her until the ambulance came which was already there when I arrived.
They also report on their app if they think Mum is unwell or 'not herself' to enable me to seek swift medical intervention to prevent her from going into the hospital. They've enabled Mum to continue living independently.

We have used Amily Homecare to provide live-in care for my very elderly mother and have been very satisfied with the care provided. It became necessary to arrange care at short notice following a hospital stay. Care was put in place very quickly, with all of the necessary assessments, checks and evaluations
carried out before care began.
The carers supplied by Amily to look after my mother have all been excellent, caring, professional and able to cope with her limited mobility and other problems. Communication with Amily has been very straightforward with regular visits and follow-ups, which was great in building confidence.

Amily cared for my mother for four years to the end of her life: Always handled Mum with great care, tenderness and kindness, whilst being totally professional in dealing with Mum's many and ever-increasing needs: Amily made sure Mum maintained her dignity throughout, even during very trying times and
always had her best interests at heart ensuring she was as comfortable as possible and at ease, regardless of what was 'going on' with her physical and mental health. Two carers deserve mention: Mum grew to adore them, and her face would light up when they arrived. Mum's last months were traumatic for us but not so for Mum as all the carers handled Mum with such fondness, warmth and care ensuring she was comfortable, pain-free and cosy whilst also making the family feel special. It was because of this quality of care Mum was able to spend her last months, days and final hours at home. They were angels and I cannot thank them enough for managing Mum (and the family). We will be forever grateful.

I cannot sing the praises of Amily Homecare more highly! They took on my mother's care at a time when it was desperately needed and have given me back peace of mind and really improved daily life for my mother. My mother's situation isn't straight forward and Amily are constantly adapting and overcoming
all the various hospital visits, new medications and equipment she needs. I feel we are a bit of a high-maintenance client as I'm always on the phone with new requests and worries and they always make me feel supported and listened to.
The carers who work for Amily always go out of their way to assist my mother and I appreciate every one of them. As an only child navigating my mother's illness alone, they are absolute angels!
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Amily to anyone.

It wasn’t easy for me to accept I needed help with the care of my husband with dementia. However, from the very first moment, Amily Homecare gave me confidence to relax a little. They treated my husband with such kindness and respect (and expertise!) I could not ask for more. The carers were obviously
happy with the company they work for and maybe this is reflected in their work. I would absolutely recommend this company.

Amily provided 24/7 live in care for my aunt over the last year of her life. The service provided is absolutely exceptional from start to finish. The carers are all wonderful, the electronic access to the daily care records means that you can monitor how the person receiving care is doing - and the
individual carers are all angels. They really gave my aunt a fantastic quality of life. I recommend this company without hesitation.

Amily Homecare is helpful and caring plus efficient when dealing with any queries. The carers are friendly and caring towards their clients. When initially arranging for carers, the manager provides help and insight when needed. There is a can-do attitude and they are flexible with the timing of visits
if needed when medical appointments arise. You can feel confident with the support you receive at very often a traumatic and stressful time transitioning to a different way of life for your family member.

When my father said he was not happy in his care home, I contacted Amily Homecare to see whether a live-in carer would allow him to move back home. They were amazing from the beginning, giving us the time we needed to discuss all aspects of live-in care. The live-in care manager has been fantastic throughout,
going that extra mile to get to know Dad and finding carers that suited not only his needs but also his personality. His main carer has been outstanding, great company and I am completely confident in her abilities as a carer. She has also gone way beyond her job to enhance Dad’s life. As an example of the company’s dedication, when one of Dad’s carers was unavoidably delayed, both the Managing Director and live-in care manager both stepped in to look after Dad until the carer arrived. Outstanding service and a really friendly, helpful team.

My mother has dementia and a lovely lady from Amily Homecare comes in for 2 hours a week to give my father some respite. My mum does activities with this lady, painting, flower arranging, etc and I believe the stimulation helps with my mum's dementia. Thank you.
