I enquired about providing home care services for my husband for the times when I am going away in 2020. Customer care immediately contacted me, visited us to make the assessment and also to introduce the main carer, they were very understanding and sympathetic. The agency provided care four times since
at the end of Feb, in July and in December up to the first of January 2020. We were allocated a main carer and some replacement ones during these periods as my husband needed three times a day visits every day. We were very satisfied with the main carer and most of the time with the replacement carers, they seemed to do a very good job to keep my husbands personal hygiene, prepare some food for him and also they kept our home tidy and clean. The only time we had some issue with some of the carers was at Christmas time and spiked with the pandemic restriction but even then the coordinator and the office were very accessible and promptly acted. I recommend the agency to anyone needing care in their home.

The carers and the office team at Bluebird have been outstanding, especially under the stress and strain of a global pandemic (Covid-19). Their care and understanding with my mother have been amazing, especially since surviving Covid! Words are not enough. Thank you so much!

Michael Hackett

The Directors and owners of Bluebird Care Islington & Hackney are husband and wife Michael and Tania Hackett. Michael and Tania moved to Islington in 2006 having met at the University of Manchester, and three years later moved to Hackney. Members of both Michael and Tania’s family have received care in a range of settings, meaning they have seen first-hand the importance of quality driven, person-centred care, which they are in turn passionate about delivering to their customers.

Michael has spent the majority of his professional life working for the global recruitment business Michael Page where he specialised in placing people into a range of positions in the Health and Social Care sector. This experience of working in a “matching” industry means Michael understands the importance of selecting and placing the most appropriate Care Workers with the right customers.

Tania is a qualified solicitor with eight years post-qualification experience in employment law, most recently at the retailer Marks and Spencer. Tania’s background in legal and compliance has made it possible for Bluebird Care to create a stable operating platform from which the team’s care specialists can provide high-quality care services to a range of customers in the boroughs of Islington & Hackney.

Sunny meets with our new and existing customers, ensuring their care plans are reflective of all their needs, that any queries are resolved as quickly and effectively as possible, and that customers always receive the highest possible standards of care.
