The Review Score of 8.2 (8.167) out of 10 for Angelica Care Bognor Regis is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.
a) The Average Rating is 4.7 out of 5 from 2 Reviews in the last 24 months.
b) The score for the number of positive Reviews is 3.5 out of 5 from 2 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.
The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:
a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.
The Average Rating of 4.667 for Angelica Care Bognor Regis is calculated as follows: ( (8 Excellents x 5) + (4 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 12 Ratings = 4.667
b) 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').
The 5 points available are broken down as follows: 3 points for the first Positive Review, 2 points in total for each of the next 9 Positive Reviews (1st = 3, 2nd = 0.5, 3rd = 0.5, 4th = 0.25, 5th = 0.25, 6th = 0.1, 7th = 0.1, 8th = 0.1, 9th = 0.1, 10th = 0.1)
The 5 points relating to the number of Positive Reviews for Angelica Care Bognor Regis is based on 2 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as follows: 3 + 0.5 = 3.5
When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
If a Home Care Provider does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.

Job Title: Deputy Manager and Care Coordinator
Joined: 2019
I began my career in financial services, working in banking before moving into life assurance and pensions. I progressed through various roles and was eventually promoted to Call Centre and Customer Complaints Manager.
After leaving this role, I became a full-time mum to my two daughters. When my eldest started primary school, I began volunteering at a local parent and toddler group, which led to a full-time role as an Early Years Practitioner at a local preschool. I studied for and achieved my Level 3 NVQ in Early Years Education and was promoted to Deputy Manager.
Looking for a change in direction, I joined Angelica Care as a carer in July 2019. Over the years, I have gained experience in all aspects of care, progressing to supervisor and now Deputy Manager and Care Coordinator. I have completed my Level 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care and, more recently, my Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Adult Care.
I thoroughly enjoy caring for our customers and supporting them to live safely and independently at home.

For the past 25 years, I have been supporting people to live independently in their own homes.
I consider myself a good listener and have loved hearing people’s life stories - it has been an honour to have them share their experiences with me. Being part of their journey is a true privilege.
Working with Crisis Teams and Hospital Discharge Teams has given me a varied and enriching experience in home care. I enjoy having a role that allows me to work both in the community and within the office, offering the best of both worlds.
I have been working with Angelica Care for almost three years now and continue to find my role incredibly rewarding.
In my spare time, I love spending time with my children and grandchildren.
Job Title: Care Supervisor

I began my career working at a local solicitors' firm, where I spent many years in the Conveyancing and Reception departments. After having my two children, I took a part-time position working with my father at the family business.
A few years later, I decided to change careers and became interested in a caring role. I started working in care part-time and quickly realised how much I enjoyed helping others, which inspired me to pursue it further. I completed my NVQ3 in Health and Social Care and became more involved in the planning and structural side of the care business, alongside my practical care role. This led me to study for and achieve my NVQ5 in Health and Social Care Management and Leadership.
I have now been working in care for eight years and have been a Care Supervisor with Angelica Care for 16 months. I love working with the team here—we’re like a family, all striving towards the same goal of providing the best possible care for our customers.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, going for walks, and going on holiday.

Before becoming a carer, I worked as a primary school teacher -first in Berkshire and then in South Yorkshire. I have a daughter and three grandchildren who still live in South Yorkshire, as well as a stepson in West Sussex.
In 2018, I moved to West Sussex and decided to make a career change to health and social care. My first two care roles were in the Extra Care sector before I joined Angelica Care in June 2024 as a carer. I later progressed to a supervisor position.
In my spare time, I enjoy walking my dogs, doing puzzles, and crocheting.

I began my career as a trained chef at 16, working for three years in a catering company and a restaurant. After that, I became an auctioneer based in Chichester, where I spent two years before deciding to go travelling. I explored Australia for a total of two years before returning home in 2019-just as COVID hit.
During that time, I realised I wanted a more rewarding job. After a week of shadowing carers at a care company, I fell in love with the role. Supporting others, advocating for vulnerable people, and making a difference in their lives quickly became my passion. A year into my employment, I started my NVQ3, and after nearly two years with the company, I was ready for a new challenge.
That’s when I joined Angelica Care as a supervisor, and I immediately felt at home. Three years on, I’m proud to be part of such a great team, I genuinely look forward to coming to work and have made friends for life. Now, I’m preparing to start my NVQ5 and am excited about my future in the care industry with Angelica Care.
In my spare time, I love walking my dog, Peanut, taking trips in my campervan, and going to the gym.

I started my career in hairdressing before moving into barbering, a profession I enjoyed for over 10 years. After that, I decided to travel and spent eight months exploring Thailand. When I returned, I continued working as a barber before deciding to start a family.
During my pregnancy, I took the plunge and joined the family business, Angelica Care, working part-time in the office. After having my daughter, I decided to further my career in care by completing my Level 3 in Adult and Social Care. Now that I have achieved my qualification, I split my time between working in the office and providing care.
I enjoy long dog walks and being a full-time mum. I look forward to the future with Angelica Care and continuing to grow in my career.
