Kare Plus Kent services are individually designed to assist customers in continuing to indulge in their passions and interests, knowing that they have the level of control to live their lives to the full.

Kare Plus believes that everyone deserves to live the life that they want, with the freedoms, choices and dignity that only exceptional support, that staff can provide, can bring.

Kare Plus Ashford covers a wide range of services and will spend time with the customers to ensure that the right care package is perfect for all needs. The aim is to keep all customers as independent as possible.

Kare Plus Ashford spends a lot of time matching the right carers with the right customers, ultimately creating a comfortable relationship that enables a carer to meet the needs of the customer in a comfortable and friendly environment.

Each person who requires care is different and will be assessed as such. Staff work closely with each individual to determine what kind of care is required, meeting the needs of all customers through person-centred care planning, maintaining privacy, dignity and respect.

Kare Plus believes that by providing the right team to match the customer’s needs staff can provide safe and effective delivery of care.

Carers are available 24/7, 365 days a year which includes any night cover that may be required.

I engaged the services of Kare Plus for my aunt who was struggling at the onset of lockdown - unable to carry out general chores herself.
The staff member that was employed for a weekly visit was fab and my experience with the administration staff has been second to none.

Wonderful kind and caring people who are really adding quality of life for my dementia suffering 87 year old old uncle and keeping him safe. The initial assessment was very thorough and professionally conducted plus our concerns were acknowledged and acted upon with genuine care and concern.

My mum did have an issue with having the right carers come in to see her, as she likes consistency. This was obviously tricky for Kare Plus to sometimes arrange due to COVID, but was sorted and now Mum is content.

We were extremely pleased with the quality, knowledge, empathy and cheerfulness that Mother's care was given in both the happiest and the most difficult extremes of circumstances. An 'end of life' situation was afforded the dignity and support of wonderful people at Kare Plus. The staff have an experienced

Our relationship with the carers who come every morning is good, they are always on time to shower and dress me. The manager and her staff are always very helpful and can't do enough for us. They are wonderful people and a credit to Kare Plus, especially my two carers.
They offer a very good service
and always on time or phone to let me know if there's a problem. I would recommend Kare Plus, which I have been having for the last 2-3 months. The staff are always polite, caring and respectful. Plus they all like to have a chat and work at the same time, which makes your care enjoyable and comfortable. Recommend company in the area for care.

Since Mum has had her carer 0900-1000 daily (except Sunday), we are reassured a healthcare professional has seen and supported Mum. Mum feels very 'wobbly' early mornings due to her age, diabetes and renal condition and finds the company, support of her carers excellent. Her main carer is exceptionally
kind, caring and efficient.

I started with Kare Plus in 2019 as the recruitment manager, I then went on to complete my train the trainer certificates in order to deliver training to all of the care workers and to other companies requiring training. From there I started my own training business and brought this into Kare Plus. In 2021 I returned to Kare Plus full time as the Operations Manager. I am currently completing my QCF Level 5 whilst continuing to deliver outstanding training to all staff members within Kare Plus.


When I am not at work I enjoy spending time with my family and going for long walks or playing rugby.

I joined Kare Plus in March 2017 I have over the years monitored Bookings and Client Accounts and am passionate about providing Effective and Person-centred Support to the Services we support. I am now the Finance Controller for Kare Plus Ashford and support the Director on the day-to-day running of the business.


I previously worked within the insurance industry for 16 years and specialised in Subsidence Claims as a Recovery Claims Consultant. I found my new career within the healthcare industry when moved from London to Folkestone in 2015. I am currently doing my AAT level 2 in Accounts and Bookkeeping which I enjoy very much. In my spare time, I like socialising with my friends and spend a lot of time around my family with regular visits to London to catch up with them all.

Daphne Burns

Job Title: Patient Services Lead

Joined: 2016

Most of my working life has been in Social Care, in the positions of Dental Nurse, Carer in residential, nursing homes & community care and notably a manager of a Dementia Unit for 14 years. I have over 40 Years of experience in Health & Social Care. I have an NVQ level 3 and am currently studying for my NVQ level 5 in Health & Social Care. Over many many years, I have gained a wealth of Knowledge from my hands-on approach and am currently really enjoying my life with Kare Plus where our ultimate aim is to deliver the most outstanding care in our community. I have 4 children and 6 grandchildren and enjoy spending quality time with them, I also enjoy reading & cooking and I am an avid Tottenham Hotspurs Fan.

Jessica Northey

Job Title: Recruitment Manager

I have had numerous roles within the Care Industry over the years, mostly working in Dementia Care Homes which was a very challenging and rewarding job role. Under the supervision & direction of qualified nursing staff, as a Healthcare Assistant, I carried out a wide range of duties to care. I joined Kare Plus in 2019 working in recruitment, resourcing and compliance, which involves developing job descriptions, and carer specifications, preparing job adverts, interviewing and selecting suitably skilled carers to join our homecare team to deliver outstanding care for all of our customers, maintaining a close relationship with all of our new and existing carers. I completed my recruitment consultant training at HQ for Kare Plus in 2019 and completed my Physical Intervention Train the Trainer course also in 2019, to deliver training to agency and homecare staff members. I am a mother to two children aged 12 & 9 who I adore spending time with. We have a small pug who brings lots of joy to our lives. I am very much a family person and love exploring beautiful places and meeting new people!

Robyn Clements

Job Title: Deputy Manager

Joined: 2019

I joined Kare Plus in 2019 as a community care worker and worked full-time taking care of people who required my help.


In 2021 I joined the office to support the day-to-day running of the office. I was then trained to carry out assessments and reviews for clients as well as completing my train the trainer certificate in Medication Awareness and Moving and Handling which I now teach to our care workers. I completed my QCF Level 2 in 2020 and began my Level 3 in 2021.


When not at work I enjoy spending time with my daughter.

I joined kare plus in April 2018 after raising my 5th daughter, she was 2 1/2 at the time. Previous to having her, I went to college to do level 2 in beauty therapy and went on to have my own mobile beauty business until a few months before my daughter was born. Hobbies I have when I have the time, I like sewing, made some clothes for my youngest in the past and other crafts, reading, spending time with family. I enjoy my job, meeting and getting to know the people I'm caring for. I find it very rewarding helping people and seeing them happier at the end of the call, after having some company, even if it's just for a short time.

I joined Kare Plus in October 2019 as a complete newcomer to the Healthcare industry. I have quickly learnt a lot about the vital work that we provide in and around the community. Before this I had worked in the events industry for 12 years, arranging both global corporate events and local private functions. Having experience where it is essential to be organised has certainly helped with my new career at Kare Plus as being on top of shifts coming in and organising our Healthcare worker's schedules takes a lot of planning. It is important to me that I maintain an excellent relationship with both our staff and our clients and have been working on developing these vital connections. When I’m not at work I enjoy spending time with my husband and seven-year-old son Oscar, having adventures and spending time with our friends and family.
