I look forward to my home care once a fortnight for 3 hours, it's given me time to see friends and have lunch.
My husband seems to be ok with it, they keep him topped up with tea/coffee and biscuits or he just walks about all the time, you can't leave him. You don't know what he will do.

Since attending Habitat Homecare I have felt much better, as before this I didn't go out at all being recently widowed after being married for seventy years. The assistance we get for my husband is extremely helpful and courteous. They have brought my husband through two really nasty patches in the last few years with great care and attention, they will do any task which is helping me as well. They are very friendly and knowledgeable. They tend with great
care and the staff in the office are very helpful in getting things put in place for us.

My Mum is an 84-year-old lady living alone and has been attending the Habitat Hub weekly. The difference in her is incredible being able to socialise with other people her age. Playing games to keep her mind occupied, laughing and having a meal in company has made her happy and given her a new lease
of life. Can't thank the Habitat Homecare staff enough.

The care my husband is receiving is of a very high standard. The carers have all demonstrated they have the attributes to successfully care for an elderly, blind client. They are very kind, able to empathise, very aware of cross-infection and carry out procedures as necessary.
On entering his room,
they introduce themselves so he is aware who is calling for him and what procedures they are undertaking. They have a lovely rapport with him evident by the chatting and laughter.
I appreciate that they always enquire how I am.

Excellent service provided. I have found from the outset that all staff (from managers to carers) most professional and accommodating of both my mother's needs and mine. Managers have without exception informed me of any changes that have to be implemented. Also without exception - every carer has been

My mother receives support with daily living tasks, medication, maintenance of her legs washing/dressing. All the carers are well-presented and professional in their care of Mam. We have had a few hiccups during the course of her care but nothing that hasn't been resolved quickly with a phone call to
the office. They are a lovely bunch of women, kind and caring.

All the carers that attend my mother are courteous, patient, considerate and very approachable. They are always well presented and undertake all tasks with a refreshing disposition. Trust and confidence in their interaction is developed if carer calls on a regular basis and bonds formed. This enables
my mother to engage in conversation with carer, laugh and smile which I feel is an important and positive bi-product of the call on a daily basis.

Lisa lives with their husband Rich and their two children in Swansea. A graduate of Swansea University with a degree in Genetics, Lisa worked in the Science & Research sector for over 17 years before setting up the business in 2015. She is also a Business Wales Mentor and a passionate member of the Gowerton Cricket Club.


Lisa is hugely driven to really make a difference in her local community and puts outcome-focused care and quality customer service at the front of the Habitat Homecare culture.

Roxy George

Roxy has worked in the care sector for many years in a range of settings from challenging behaviour, and mental health to most recently in domiciliary care. Roxy joined the Habitat Homecare Team as a Care Coordinator working her way up with increased responsibilities to her role as Care Manager.
