Over the past year of offering Care to my Father with declining health right up to his recent passing, Accolade Support and Care Ltd have given the most genuine heartfelt care. We use 'Care' as an industry term but it is so that they again genuinely do 'Care' in the truest sense of the word for both
my Father and myself. Previously I'd been trying to care for my Father myself but it became too much and was affecting my health, thus brought Accolade in to assist and gradually increased the frequency of their visits. Naturally initially took a little time for my Father to adjust he soon became at ease and even struck up one could even say touching heartfelt companionship with them. Whilst I still went around regularly to see and be with my Father their presence gave me both the physical and mental space for respite knowing he was in the most caring supportive hands. Moreover, they gave me the most genuine support and assistance practically and emotionally through difficult times.

Could not recommend the team enough, they always go above and beyond caring for my Dad who has MS which means he is quadriplegic and he is always treated with dignity and real care by all the team, which means a great deal as it’s important for him to remain in his home and this would not be possible
without Accolade. The team are always so friendly and patient whilst always ensuring his needs are met, always going above and beyond. We’ll never be able to thank you all enough, keep up the amazing work!

My mother first needed help in her home during the first lockdown. Accolade were recommended and they have been fantastic. They enabled my mother to stay in her own home for an extra year at a time when we couldn’t be there due to lockdown. They were always friendly, warm, caring and very professional.
They helped with everything from taking the rubbish and recycling outside to the bins, helping my mum walk inside the building as she could no longer go out, washing and massaging her feet and providing much needed cheerful company. The same carers came regularly and built up excellent relationships with Mum, interested in her life and providing her with interest in theirs. Towards the end they were called on to do far more personal care, no task was too much for them and they went out of their way to provide more support. Importantly it is also extremely easy to contact the office with requests and changes and they were so kind and helpful to both Mum and me in the last few weeks.

My aunt has been a client of Accolade for 3 months and receives daily care. She has told me on several occasions that she does not want to go into a care home. We feel that by having Accolade on board, we have a strong and committed team who don’t only “do” care but are understanding and kindhearted
in their approach towards my aunt. This in turn gives her confidence and reassurance that she will be able to maintain independence in her own home for as long as possible. For my aunt's family this gives us peace of mind that we know we can trust and rely upon the Accolade team to respect my aunt's ever-changing needs; to be proactive in advising us of issues as they arise and to adapt accordingly. My mother has been suffering from dementia for the last couple of years and we have been very fortunate to have this wonderful care team to look after her. The quality of the staff is exceptional. Everyone is so caring and their kindness to my Mum is outstanding. Furthermore they have to put up with my sense of humour which makes them Saints. Accolade communicate well and are easy to talk to. I really like the way they monitor my Mum’s needs and tell me
straightaway if I need to obtain items. Their friendly relaxed but professional approach really helps during, what for me is a tough time seeing my Mum suffer from Alzheimers. I can’t praise them enough.

Accolade have been amazing in the care they provided for my nan. Always went over and above their duties to make nan happy. They always kept me informed on any issue that came up for a speedy solution. I can not fault Accolade in any way, the kindness and support when my nan sadly passed away was also
above and beyond, with three staff members attending nans funeral. The manager really does have ‘care’ at the forefront of everything they do. I would highly recommend Accolade to help care for your loved ones.

I cannot recommend Accolade more highly. The care, kindness and organisation are second to none. We had moved my mum’s care from another organisation and the difference was staggering. From the manager through to the carers - all were wonderful. There is a consistency of care in that the same carers
attend and they were introduced to my mum before they started so she was familiar with them. Most importantly she liked them all. Staff liaised with me immediately if there were any issues. There is no doubt that without Accolade my mum would not have been able to stay in her own home almost to the end. Completely exceptional. Thank you.

We have been working with the team at Accolade for the past 6 months and have been 100% happy with the quality of service and care they provide. My father was initially unsure about having "strangers" coming to help him but he now looks forward to their visits each morning and enjoys the company and
chat - and their occasional singing! I live some distance from my father so it is reassuring to know that someone is looking in on him each morning and helping him with the little things that help set him up for the day. The team are friendly, flexible and have genuinely made an effort to get to know my father and understand his needs. They are well trained and if they have any concerns about my father they phone into the office and I am made aware straight away.
Communication with the office is straightforward and clear.
I have no hesitation in recommending Accolade.

I have been very pleased with the care and support Accolade have given to my Mum who lives with dementia. We have been through some challenging times. The carers and management team go to great lengths in providing personalised care in a professional and sensitive manner. Communication has been excellent.

For almost 20 years now I have enjoyed helping individuals I care for to live their lives as independently as possible and looking for the right solutions to do so.


The accolade is an extension of the ethos I advocate, which is dedicated to person-centred tailored care, underpinned by transparency and accountability. I take pride in offering a highly responsive and forward-thinking service to our clients which gives great peace of mind that we are always available to help, or if any problems arise. I have a vast wealth of hands-on experience supporting a diverse group of vulnerable adults in the community, including the elderly, individuals with learning disabilities, autism, brain injury and physical disabilities. Over the years, whilst working on the front line of Health and Social Care services I have been committed to offering the very best practices within the care sector.


Along with my previous experience of working as a registered manager for a domiciliary care provider, I hold a level 5 diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care, I am a certified Person-Centred Planning facilitator and Moving and Handling trainer.

I didn’t need to be worried as the support and wealth of knowledge within Accolade made it an easy transition. It's challenging, rewarding and sometimes emotional - I can honestly say I have never looked back.


I joined the office support team in October 2020, responsible for HR, Recruitment and Training. I feel I have gone full circle to now working back in an office but this time I know it's as part of a team that makes such a positive difference to people’s lives – enabling them to stay in their own homes.

I joined Accolade Support and Care in May 2017 as a Field Supervisor and later moved into the role of a Care Manager. My job is to ensure that our clients receive excellent person-centred care, meeting the individual needs and preferences of each person. Accolade works as a team with a positive attitude ensuring our clients receive quality care. I oversee training our support workers to the highest standard, working alongside them to gain the skills and knowledge to carry out their job effectively so they feel confident to provide safe, honest, respectful care to our clients, making a difference in their lives and giving support to the rest of the family. I joined Accolade Support and Care in August 2021 as one of our support workers and was later promoted to the Assistant Manager role. Part of my role within Accolade Support and Care is to ensure our clients receive person-centred care to a high standard which is tailored to their individual needs, wishes and preferences. Alongside this, I undertake initial assessments and reviews throughout our client's care to ensure our support remains to the highest standard. I am also responsible for the management of the Client and staff rota and for liaising with clients and their families to ensure the services provided by Accolade meet their needs.


I have 13 years of experience in Health and Social Care settings. Predominantly working with adults with learning disabilities, supporting adults with Mental Health and more recently Dementia care and Palliative and End of Life care.


I am currently undertaking training to further my knowledge and skills in supporting people needing Palliative and End of Life care.
