New carers shadow more experienced staff and also have the opportunity to read care plans before visiting clients. However, we will try to offer more shadowing, as well as encouraging new carers to read care plans more thoroughly before making their first visits. It is important to us that we provide a very high standard of care and any suggestions to improve even further are greatly appreciated.
