Caremark has been a great source of support and help to our Mum. The carers have been very patient with Mum even when she has been grumpy. She is also quite deaf which doesn't help with communication.
The carers have helped Mum with all her washing and toileting needs and helped with her exercise which
has been wonderful.

Personal greeting on arrival. Check if there is anything different. Thorough personal care. They cope well with the tricky task of putting on compression stockings. They are vigilant when disposing of soiled pads etc. They do a good job of making the bed. Good attention to detail e.g. asking if he would
like perfume when going out.

After spending a couple of weeks in the hospital during Christmas, when our nan came home, we could not have asked for a more caring team. They were kind, professional and helpful. Two of the carers were very good, and always brought a smile to her face.

Caremark has been efficient and reliable. My Mum has one full-time live-in carer and since Dec 2023, 3 additional visits. They were able to implement more care (and good care) at a moment's notice when my Mum suddenly lost her mobility. The 'chief' carer and all the others are patient, loving, caring,
professional, gracious and kind. I am so grateful to them, but especially the chief.

I am a seasoned health and social care practitioner and a critical customer service promoter with over 15 years in education management and 5 years in social health care. My background is in education management. I was fortunate to teach in some of the most amazing schools in East Africa, North Africa and the Middle East. I have had a short stint teaching in the UK both at primary level and most recently lecturing at the university. I joined social health care by chance when my friend Mr Norden persuaded me to try it just for the sake of it. I did and I got hooked. I have never looked back. It has been one of the most fulfilling decisions I ever made.
With a Level 5 in Adult Social Healthcare Management, a MSc in Psychology and an ongoing PhD in the same, I have increasingly found myself wanting to really make a difference in the lives of the people I interact with; be it our Service Users or colleagues at Caremark whom I work with closely. I have found out that paying close attention to the very obvious and the little things in social care is what distinguishes a good Care Manager from the others. Fashioning care tasks/activities to truly meet individual’s personal needs has become an important influence on how I make decisions as a Manager; the very practical approach.
With an attitude to empower and inspire, the journey has been thrilling despite the occasional challenges that come with my role.
