We have been very pleased with the care service received for more than a year. The carers assigned have arrived promptly, provided efficient and caring service. The excellent care provided over the past 9-months has assisted my mother's recovery following surgery. Continuity of care throughout lockdown was so reassuring when the close family were unable to visit.
The carers have been attentive and caring to my mother, and have kept an eye on my father too.
Having care at home has enabled my parents to remain in their own home, which is so important to them both, and to the rest of the family.
It's a difficult decision for a family to start care, and I have valued Caremark's support for me too. From the very first phone call to the care coordinator, I knew that I had found the solution, and the care manager's assessment visit reinforced this. You have always been there to talk things through, and I have valued your understanding and advice, thank you.

I was put in touch with Caremark when my Mum suddenly needed help at home after a few months in the hospital. It took Mum a while to accept carers coming in, but she eventually grew very comfortable with them, and from the start, they were nothing but reliable, trustworthy and professional. Mum deteriorated
somewhat and without doubt, the wonderful carers made it possible for Mum to stay at home for as long as she could. They really do become friends and they really do go the extra mile when needed. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Caremark to my family and friends.

I had a very prompt response to a request for some temporary care for my husband, who has dementia and who fell in the stairs at home. We needed help with getting up in the morning, showering and dressing. As time went by, we were glad to have companionship care. The main carer was exceptional and she
responded to all our needs with grace, energy and efficacy. If we need care services in the future we would have no hesitation in engaging Caremark and recommend their mode of operation, right from the initial assessment by the care manager, through to execution over many weeks. This is our first experience of engaging care services and we have no idea of the correctness of charges having nothing to compare with. I felt perfectly comfortable with the charges.

I was forced to change my father's care agency at a challenging time in April, due to COVID-19. My father is 89 and very frail, requiring three hourly visits a day. Caremark was extremely accommodating at short notice and proactive in ensuring a smooth transition and that Dad's complex needs were fully
meet. Each carer visiting Dad has been truly amazing - they genuinely care, are thoughtful, kind and treat my dad with respect and dignity.

The amount of care and indeed the quality has gradually increased as my Aunt's needs change. She now has visits three times a day with two or three carers mainly attending in the week. My Aunt has become more content with the visits. She now lets one lady help her with the bathing, which is amazing.

The service of providing a rota of carers has proved excellent - the only concern has been caused by traffic/lack of buses.

I am a 28-year-old full-time wheelchair user with cerebral palsy. I work as a journalist in London. I have had carers since aged 18. I started with Caremark in September 2017. They come to my house where I live with my parents (66/70 years) to get me up in the morning to go to work.
The two main carers
(one female/one male) I have from Caremark are excellent. Caremark as an agency are extremely efficient. They communicate very well, do spot checks and have never let me down. I would recommend them with confidence.

I cannot fault any aspect of my experience with Caremark (Richmond) from my first telephone contact with them they have been efficient, professional and very caring. The carers treated my father with dignity, respect and he came to think of them as his friends, especially the night carer who would arrive
early and have a good chat with my father.

His constant struggle to remember things and communicating with people has been a worry to both me and my family. Hence I and my long-term friend Ms Shipra Mehta decided to do something for others suffering from a similar condition. We have taken franchise of a very reputable company like Caremark to deliver a professional, friendly and caring service to suit everyone’s needs. My background is in education management. I was fortunate to teach in some of the most amazing schools in East Africa, North Africa and the Middle East. I have had a short stint teaching in the UK both at primary level and most recently lecturing at the university. I joined social health care by chance when my friend Mr Norden persuaded me to try it just for the sake of it. I did and I got hooked. I have never looked back. It has been one of the most fulfilling decisions I ever made.
With a Level 5 in Adult Social Healthcare Management, a MSc in Psychology and an ongoing PhD in the same, I have increasingly found myself wanting to really make a difference in the lives of the people I interact with; be it our Service Users or colleagues at Caremark whom I work with closely. I have found out that paying close attention to the very obvious and the little things in social care is what distinguishes a good Care Manager from the others. Fashioning care tasks/activities to truly meet individual’s personal needs has become an important influence on how I make decisions as a Manager; the very practical approach.
With an attitude to empower and inspire, the journey has been thrilling despite the occasional challenges that come with my role.
