She left school and went to college to study Health and Social Care as from a young age supporting people was something she was very passionate about. Her experience began with an apprenticeship in a residential home and she stayed on to work there for a few years. Still wanting to stay in the care industry she was keen to try Home care as she strongly believed there’s no place like home.
In 2019 Amy found Home Instead Charnwood and was drawn by the amazing achievements and the high standards of care they deliver. She started off as a caregiver for Home Instead and now works alongside the office care team!
