I brought in Right at Home to support my Mum over the last six months. They provided companionship when the family couldn't be around, they showed an understanding of her dementia and they provided practical assistance with basic tasks around the home at a time when this was becoming difficult. The
number of different carers visiting was kept to a minimum and this helped to build familiarity. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with the staff and management.

After meeting the carers looking after me, I became quite at ease with them and look forward to their visits. Their manner is always kind and helpful, wanting to know if there is anything else I need.

Just like to say a big thank you to Right at Home for the excellent respite care they provided for my Mum. The carers are very professional, kind and friendly and placed great emphasis on providing the best possible support for Mum. The minimum 1-hour visits were specifically tailored to suit her social
and emotional needs. This, together with the continuity of carers provided, allowed me and my family to take a break from our role as carers, which makes it possible for my Mum to live independently in her own home.

The Right At Home (North Cheshire & Leigh) team cared for my parents for almost 18 months, until their needs became more complex. Based on our experiences it's easy to see why they were awarded the CQC rating of Outstanding because this was the standard of everything they did. It was a pleasure to have
their professional, cheerful caregivers in our home and the office team were unfailingly friendly and supportive. We highly recommend them if you're looking for care in the home.

Although my mother was not well, her wishes were that she stayed at home as long as she could. Right at Home treated my mother with the utmost respect and first class care and kept the family informed at all times. As Mum's care needs increased, they were very helpful and her care needs were monitored
on a regular basis. As my Mum's main carer, it made it possible to keep Mum at home.
Medication was dispensed and they work very closely with all the agencies and family to deliver a first class package.

My father had support from Right at Home for 18 months after he'd been diagnosed with vascular dementia. Our mother had died a few years previously. My sister and I both live in the South of England and were getting increasingly anxious and guilty about dad living on his own. As dad's condition deteriorated,
we discovered that Right at Home were able to be flexible and responsive to his changing needs. We particularly appreciated that the carers who visited dad were very committed, reliable and got to know dad really well. They provided structure to his day, conversation, company and helped him keep on top of the house helped chores. From the families point of view, we felt that Right at Home was filling a gap in dads life and helping to alleviate his isolation. We also found that they were very good at keeping us up to date and informed us of any changes. We knew that dad was in good hands, and couldn't have hoped for a better care provider.

I came across Right at Home after an internet search at a time of desperation as we were having an extremely poor time with her existing carers. I have to say that my expectations were low having had such a poor experience, but from the initial communication with the owner and her understanding of my
situation and her reassurances that Right at Home would address my concerns, I made the decision to change Care Agencies. It was the best decision I could have made.
It is difficult to explain what an amazing impact these carers have had on my mum and dad's lives, but here's a summary.
1. Carers who care. Every single carer is amazing. They have gained the trust of my frightened mum and cynical dad. They look forward to the carer's visits rather than dreading them.
2. Carers who go well beyond their remit. They arrive punctually always and would never leave early if the hour is up if something comes up.
3. An exceptional and responsive management team.
They are simply outstanding.

I spoke to the manager out of hours (the fact she responded to my query late on a Friday night just showed me clients were more than numbers and an income to her, a rarity in the care industry). Her warmth, kindness and understanding made me sure they were the right company to care for my Grandfather.
From the initial conversation, care assessment and carers visits, it was a pleasant experience. I live many miles away and knowing they were there gave me much confidence. They cared for my Grandfather and were so understanding at the numerous hospital admissions and assisted in making sure his final few months were comfortable and lived well. Although they were there for my Grandfather they spent time talking to my grandmother and she also looked forward to the carers coming.


I can't thank the whole team enough and can hand on heart say anyone would be lucky to be cared for by Right At Home North Cheshire. Thank you for all you have done for me and my family.

We first started using Right at Home to take my 94 year old mother on the occasional shopping trip. Following a fall she has since required more intensive care from the Right at Home Team. This involved 4 visits per day for approximately 4 weeks. Due to their excellent care Mum now only needs visits
twice a day which will be ongoing. We cannot recommend the Right at Home Team highly enough. Nothing appears to be too much trouble, they treat Mum with compassion and respect and Mum has settled into the routine very well as a result.


We are extremely satisfied that Mum is having the best care possible.

As a nurse I have worked with hundreds (if not thousands!) of carers, but the team who helped to care for my mum in her final months are the most outstanding carers I have ever met. They were dedicated to ensuring that every single need was met, they gave her the dignity and respect that she needed,
and kept us all smiling with their bright and bubbly personalities. We can never thank them enough for bringing joy and laughter into our home during a very tough time. Mum was happy, comfortable and surrounded by love the day she passed away. We will be forever grateful to the carers for helping us to achieve that goal.

I am really pleased with the services provided by Right at Home. The carers are all really happy in their jobs and always have a smile. My husband gets the best care I could ask for and this allows me to relax knowing that he is happy and content. All the staff treat my husband with dignity and friendliness.
From the management down to the caregivers, this company strives constantly to do their best to make sure that all my husband's needs are met.

Right at Home have been supporting my nana who lives with dementia and is therefore very vulnerable for several months now. They have always provided excellent support which has given us, as a family great peace of mind. We have used many care agencies, who for various reasons never quite met our expectations.
Right at Home have exceeded our expectations in the care they provide on all levels. The two ladies who support my nana have got to know her through their regular visits which is very important to anyone living with dementia and the family. They are fully aware of nana's needs, show great kindness and caring and are very reliable. We wish we had found this company years ago and would definitely recommend to others.

I can't thank Right at Home enough for the fantastic care that they provide for my dad. All the staff are kind, professional and go above and beyond their roles to ensure that my dad gets the right care. There are regular reviews to make sure that we are happy and to tailor the needs of his care.
I really couldn't ask for a nicer group of carers to keep my dad safe and feeling happy. I have recently gone away for two weeks and left my dad in the care of Right at Home and I felt totally relaxed. I came home and my dad was happier than ever. Thank goodness I have found this company.

I'm so glad I found Right at Home. They have been so understanding of my dad's situation and provided support to both of us from day 1.


My dad really enjoys his visits from his caregivers and always has positive things to say about the carers. They treat my dad with care and compassion and always

give him a choice of what he wants to do and encourage different activities.


I spent a long time looking for help but none of the services seemed to fit our specific needs. Right at Home took care of that. Nothing is too much trouble and they were able to provide the exact support we need as they tailor their service to each client and this is what makes them unique and able to provide outstanding service. It gives me peace of mind that my dad is being well looked after when I'm not there.


I would not hesitate to recommend Right at Home to anyone who needs help or support caring for someone with dementia or even providing companionship for a person with dementia.


100% happy with the service.

My elderly mum and I have been supported by this care agency for almost 10 months now and I can safely say for us, every aspect of the service provided has been second to none. I have had no hesitation in recommending Right at Home (North Cheshire and Leigh) to friends looking for support.
From the
first point of contact to date, both Mum and I have been treated with the utmost respect from the whole team who go above and beyond to ensure our needs are met.
I have total peace of mind that Mums needs are fully understood and met on every visit she receives. Essentially, Mums support is provided by two lovely ladies who have now got to know her on a more personal level and have gained an understanding of her needs, they treat Mum with such respect and kindness. Priceless!
The passion to deliver such outstanding service driven by the management team is very evident on every level and every request I have made has, without hesitation, been met. I wish I had found this agency years ago.

I thought I didn't need help - how wrong was I. We have carers coming in morning and evening. They always greet us with a smile and talk to my husband before getting him ready for the day or bedtime. The carers are pleasant at all times, very caring and professional and always well presented. They always
ask "is there anything I can do before I leave?".


They finish looking after my husband even after the allotted time to make sure that he and I are OK. I can get on with jobs while they are here but they know where I am if needed. I'm so glad I have made the decision to have Right at Home in our lives.

I am extremely pleased with Right At Home. From the very beginning, everybody we have had contact with has been kind, caring and very professional. A very detailed care plan was put in place prior to my mother's care package commencing, ensuring that all her needs would be met (physical and emotional).
I cannot speak highly enough of this care agency, they are wonderful and I feel totally confident leaving my mum in the capable hands of her carer. I would highly recommend this agency.

I love chatting and having banter, I love them showing me pictures and telling me their stories from some time ago. I have a desire to look after people, it’s the most rewarding job I’ve ever had. I enjoy my work and you get to meet a lot of lovely families not only do you look after the service users, but you also look after their families. The best of it is supporting individuals by helping them to live in their own homes, I have so much compassion about my job.

My name is Linda and have been with the company for two and a half years now I wouldn't change it for anything else.


About me.
I worked for Mark's and Spencer's at Gemini, I trained as a master barista trainer and held the post for 26 years.


I retired in 2021, but I wanted to still keep busy while helping others, so I decided to apply to Right at Home, this is where my new chapter began. I love my Job, not only do I enjoy caring for our wonderful clients.


I love baking and have supported events at Right At Home. I also walked 8k for Alzheimer's last year at Tatton Park with some of the team and raised £745.


I really enjoy helping others and meeting new people. It's lovely when you gain trust in others and you know you are making a difference.


Nothing phases me and I love a challenge.


Since Joining Right at Home I have made so many new friends my Christmas card list is now enormous.
