The quality of care provided is excellent. There is a true partnership between you as the care provider and service user. Opinions, views, and feedback is taken on board and acted upon. As a service user, the client feels valued and respected. A robust relationship has been formed since your support
has been provided in 2018. We continue to recommend A&L as an excellent care provider, as the best in Coventry.

Carers are always respectful and caring. They notify me if they have concerns. Management are easy to contact and show empathy at all times. They go the extra mile at all times.

All the carers were very kind and caring and treated mum with respect and dignity. They offered suggestions for improvements eg easy meals and gave feedback regularly on the daily visits. The service was very flexible in terms of length of visit eg staying on if deemed necessary to finish the visit/task.
The app used to record the daily visits was very easy to use and gave an instant update.

We only used the sitter service for a short time before Dad had to go into care. The help, support, and care shown was outstanding. Not only for Dad but towards me and Mum.

Caring for my wife in the early stages of early-onset Alzheimer's, I require two main qualities from a caring agency - reliability, and continuity. Prior to A & L, I found it very difficult to find both in any agency. I have been with A & L now for eight years and have found both in abundance both in
the staff and the company. The fact that the company retains staff over such a period says a lot about them as an employer but it has to be reassuring for my wife as her condition deteriorated to be surrounded by familiar faces and in a routine she understands. The quality of care and interaction is excellent.

A & L are a brilliant care agency led by the owner and her manager daughter. They have a wonderful caring staff who go way and beyond to help. I would thoroughly recommend them having been with them for some years before being taken into hospital in February 2021 and now decided to remain in the residential
home. I have one regret and that is not knowing about A & L earlier.

Hi, I'm Laura, Registered Manager at A&L. I have been with A&L full time since June 2011 and have been the registered manager since 2020.


I hold a level 5 qualification in Management of health and social care and have undertaken specific training in first aid, medication management, moving and handling and training the trainer


I am passionate about customer care and enabling customers to live their lives, their way safely and happily at home. I am extremely proud of the quality of care and support we at A&L provide to our customers.

Hello, I'm Jan and I've been with A&L Enablement Services since August 2010.


I qualified as a social worker in 1987, although I no longer practice, and have worked in Adult Social Care since 1975 in a variety of roles from admin to senior management for Coventry City Council, I 'retired' in March 2010.


I have undertaken specific training in dementia, end of life care, equality and diversity and medication management as well as the mandatory training we undertake annually.


I am passionate about providing, high quality, individualised care and support to people and believe that is what we do here at A&L.


My daughter, Laura, has taken over as manager and I am looking towards retirement in the next two years knowing that the company is in extremely safe hands.
