I have used Gabriel's Angels for the last couple of months and am delighted with the service. I have noticed a marked improvement with Mum since the carers are visiting her and now I have peace of mind that she is being well looked after by the Gabriel's Angels team in support of the care the rest of
the family is providing. I would highly recommend.
Thanks so much!

My sister was unwell and needed help while travelling, Gabriel's Angels provided a carer to travel with her and provide help with chores and care for the duration of her holiday. She found the experience to be very positive and would have no hesitation in using this company again, if the need arises.
It was very reassuring for me to know she had a professional carer with her at all times for the duration of her stay.

Thank you, Elizabeth, for your kind words. The carer had a lovely time as well!

If you are looking for Alzheimer's/dementia care for your family, I strongly recommend using Gabriel's Angels, having used a couple of other agencies in the Wokingham area. There are many agencies who will attempt to care for dementia but I think few actually have the experience and professional approach
to enable them to support your family or you. Where dementia is concerned, simply being a carer isn't always enough. Gabriel's Angels provide their own training onsite at their offices and the managers not only thoroughly know what they are doing, but also provide support and guidance to the carer on site constantly as well as support and guidance to the family.
Picking an agency takes so much time and effort and you have no guarantee of getting it right, even with a lot of research. You can't go wrong with Gabriel's Angels - they are worth every penny. I really hope this review helps anyone seeking dementia/Alzheimer's care in Wokingham and the surrounding area.

Gabriel’s Angels have been, and continue to be, the most fantastic agency. Their care team are thoughtful, kind, skilled and well-trained, providing all the support my mum requires. The office staff are super helpful and responsive. As Mum’s needs have been changing Gabriel's Angels have been proactive
and flexible in working with her. Mum loves them and that is, of course, the main thing.

Thank you so much! It is so kind of you to do a review for us, I know how busy you are, you do so much for your mum as well! The carers all love visiting your mum and your dad.

The care that my father received from everyone at Gabriel's Angels was amazing. The care, kindness, compassion and friendship that they showed him meant the world to him as his family. They enabled him to live an independent life, full of support from the amazing carers, who supported him in and out
of the home. Dad enjoyed the social aspect of Gabriel's Angels too - social events, pub lunches, trips out. Not only did Gabriel's Angels support Dad, they supported us as a family too. The support and kindness they showed us all was always amazing and we couldn't recommend Gabriel's Angels highly enough. Thank you, everyone.

Thank you so much Katherine, your dad was much loved and is still dearly missed at our pub lunches, we talk about him and raise a glass to him often, thank you for your kindness to one staff member, she was very upset when he passed away.

I used Gabriel's Angels when they looked after my late wife during February and March 2020. She was very ill, and the staff were very kind until she passed away; she could not have been cared for better. I also used them for post-operative care in August 2022, and again, all thirteen girls were very
good and understanding. I will recommend their services at any time if asked.

We had a personal visit by the senior management team of Gabriel's Angels to celebrate my mother's 95th birthday and my mother has been very well supported by her carers and the management team - their caring approach is very personal and from the heart. Very professional service with a personal touch.

Reply from Jason Payne, Manager at Gabriel's Angels Ltd - Wokingham

The carer has been with my relative for about five years. In all this time, I have found her a great help, she knows exactly how my relative thinks. I do not drive and she makes sure I see my relative regularly. She is able to help with any money problem. I cannot speak highly enough of Gabriel's Angels,
they are always there if is a problem and so is her carer. I haven't seen her other carer as she sees her at night.

Gabriel's Angels looked after my mum for five weeks when she could no longer manage on her own. It was a huge change for her having people come into the house after Covid and being housebound. Without exception, every carer was wonderful, caring and took the time to get to know Mum. Nothing was too
much trouble. The office team were brilliant too, always on hand to help. I would not hesitate to use Gabriel's Angels again and would happily recommend them to others. They made a difficult time a little easier - thank you.

I founded Gabriel’s Angels in 2012 with my wife Jacqueline. Our reasons and ‘why’ for starting the company were very similar despite having very different backgrounds. I always had a strong desire to start a business but struggled to come up with an idea that would really make a difference and have a strong purpose. In the spring of 2012, the circumstances were right for us to do so and the idea of creating a company that truly cares with a passion for the local community was born. Our passion for the business remains as strong today as it was then and have met so many amazing people during the journey so far, we will continue to look after our staff as if they are part of our extended family whilst doing everything we can to continue to deliver outstanding care to our customers.

I started Gabriel's Angels with my husband Jason in May 2012, we wanted to create a company that would provide the same loving care a family member would give and to be a happy, fun place to work. My inspiration came from my grandmother, as a child, she brought me with her when she volunteered for St Vincent de Paul at our local mental health hospital in Mullingar, Ireland. Granny used to bring chocolate bars, sweets and cigarettes to the patients in St Loman's hospital. When she entered the ward all the patients flocked around her for treats and a chat. It was a little overwhelming the first time I went with her but then after a while I loved it, she was so loved and chatted to people who wanted to chat, she would ask them how they were feeling. If there was anyone who she was worried about she used to ask the nurses about that person - in a way she was advocating for them (although I didn’t realise that at the time!) . She used to bring dinners, plum pudding and Christmas cakes to her neighbours in need or vulnerable people. Her 7 daughters used to bake lots of cakes that she could share. She always championed the underdog. I feel in a small way all of us at Gabriel's Angels are carrying on the work she did, it is very rewarding! I love looking after people, not only the people we care for but our staff as well! I like people to work the hours they want to work, to feel safe, trained, happy and to enjoy their work, to progress and share knowledge and care about each other as well as the community. If our carers are happy and feel looked after and listened to - they will look after our vulnerable people in a loving way, everything is connected. Granny used to say the prayer to archangel angel Gabriel with me every night when I was young this is where our name has come from Gabriel's Angels.
