Artius care provides home care and support services to adults living in their own homes across West Sussex and Hampshire.

Caring staff give individuals the care and attention, dignity and respect they need while ensuring personalised care and support is provided that meets the individual's wishes.

Services include personal care - assisting clients with personal hygiene including washing, bathing and incontinence, support with medication and help getting dressed and preparing meals.

Staff also offer respite care, rehabilitation care and can escort clients as they participate in social activities such as attending clubs and shopping trips.

Carers can also help clients with domestic duties such as cleaning, washing up and laundry.

The care my aunt received throughout the duration of her time with Artius Care was nothing short of amazing. Towards the end of her life, her needs became more challenging and we as a family turned to Artius in our hour of need. From the moment we had the first phone call I felt at ease. It meant our
lives could carry on without hindering my aunt's care. I knew she was in safe hands and nothing was ever too much to ask. From the office staff to the carers on the front line, every single person I had interacted with made me feel heard, respected and reminded me why choosing the right care company that actually cares is so vital. I really did feel as if they treated my aunt as if she were their own family member. Thank you Artius.

My mother was a client of Artius Care for just over two years from 2022 to 2024.
The service provided was reliable and the quality OK but dependent on the personalities of the individual staff members. However, the quality of care declined over time and some of my mother's needs that were deemed to
be no problem at the time of assessment were disregarded later; my mother was pressured to accept compromises that she felt uncomfortable with, so I had to contact the office frequently. It is worth noting that when phoning this company it is existing customers who are required to wait the longest, while potential new customers press 1.
The office staff were rude and one of them even shouted at me on the phone. Several carers confirmed my suspicion that Artius office staff shouted at them and generally treated carers badly, hence the high staff fluctuation rate.
My mother now receives care from a different, cheaper care company and wishes she had been with them from the beginning.

As we are new to the company, only since April. I don't have a great experience with carers. It takes time to learn what is expected and what is given. So far I find it a great comfort having to deal with a sick husband. It is only once a day but that carries out the tasks needed. It is good to get
advice about his problems and there are many.

Artius Care has been looking after my husband for close to two years. He has gone from being fairly mobile to bed bound and unable to move independently. The carers have adapted brilliantly to his needs, making useful suggestions to aid his daily life. They are pleasant, polite and punctual.

Cannot praise Artius Care enough for the care they provided for my bedbound husband. Really friendly caring people, always polite and professional, but able to engage with friendly banter, which my husband absolutely loved, whilst treating us both (and our home) with the utmost respect. Sadly, my husband
passed away much quicker than anticipated, but the care he received in the short time given was just perfect in every way. Highly recommended. Thank you all.

My Auntie is happy with you all that help and we as a family are happy. We thank you all. I found it very difficult to find care for my son someone told me about Artius and the manager came the same day to interview us on a Thursday and was able to help from Monday. I have found them to be very reliable and each person caring, kind, respectful and a pleasure to have in the house, especially
with not being able to go out. Artius always try to accommodate you if you need care.

All the staff who come to help are very kind and pleasant. They make me a drink, make my lunch for me and take me out for walks. They help me with my washing and ask if there is anything else they can do. They are really helpful.

I have never had any dealings with Care providers until my Brother-in-Law (widower) became very unwell with Cancer and help was required on a daily basis at home. I was very concerned with 'strangers' coming into his home but need not have worried. All the carers were extremely kind and respectful,
always very cheerful, positive and caring. They carried out any duty that was required of them in a very professional manner. When asked to prepare a meal, they left the kitchen in a spotless condition throughout. They were happy to do anything that would help and always managed to have time to chat and have a joke before they left.


I would recommend Artius Care to anyone with similar needs.

I joined Artius Care in April 2020, during the start of the pandemic. I have 15 years of experience in care and have worked in different care settings including mental health, dementia, nursing home and extra care.


My role is to maintain a high-quality service working in partnership with clients, colleagues and health professionals to ensure each client has an individual care plan, tailored to their needs and wishes. To provide the delivery of person-centred care services that promotes independence and dignity to empower people to live as independently as possible and to make sure care services are organised in a way that provides flexibility, consistency and stability. Staff are trained to a high standard to make certain that they are competent within their role with regular supervision and spot checks. This ensures the service meets, the requirements of the Health & Social Care Act 2008, Fundamental standards, and the Care Quality Commission guidance.


I have my NVQ level 5 leadership in health and social care.


I am passionate about my role as a registered Manager and aspire to run this service ensuring that both staff and clients are happy and settled. I wish for the Carers to feel respected, valued and enjoy coming to work and for the clients to feel dignified, relaxed, receive person-centred care and look forward to the carers arriving.
