Baxter team members came to my house for three months. I needed someone desperately to help me to help my husband. Team was very good. They look after my husband very nice and carefully. Since my dear mum was devastatingly diagnosed with brain cancer in March this year, our whole world got turned upside down and life as we knew it has suddenly changed forever overnight. The dreadful news hit us like a ton of bricks, we all felt completely lost and helpless, not knowing where to turn
and had no idea what the future would look like or how we were going to cope. But we were thankfully blessed with the Baxters Homecare family who entered our lives and have been there for us from the very beginning by showing endless support, care, comfort and loyalty. We cannot believe how lucky we have been to have such caring, loving and kind people not only look after Mum's every single need but also provide such amazing emotional support to me, my dad and our whole family. All the carers who have looked after Mum have massively enriched our lives so much and have brought us huge amounts of joy and happiness during this very difficult and challenging time. We are forever grateful.

One was Dad's carer for the two weeks before he passed away peacefully, in his own home, listening to his classical music. She was Dad's full-time carer, day and night, and was absolutely brilliant with him, and Dad loved her. When the family visited and made any suggestion, such as, 'would you like
a hot water bottle?' Dad would reply, 'don't interfere, you're just a visitor now'. Our family had been caring for Dad, staying over at night and being there during the day, but we couldn't cope any longer, and we couldn't have hoped for a better carer than her. As well as being very caring and meeting Dad's every need, she was very professional, keeping in close contact with her supervisor. She enabled Dad to have a happy and comfortable final two weeks of his life, and we are very grateful to her and the team at Baxters for this.

We wanted to thank you very much for the support you gave my husband and I. It ensured he could safely be cared for in the comfort of his own home. I could have a rest and some time away. A win-win.

the introduction to assessment and delivery, all the team were professional, experienced and very cheerful. This was all wrapped up in a can-do attitude.
When we first met the manager, her words were, we are good. We can honestly say this is definitely the case and the service we experienced during our 2-week respite.

My sister and I cared for my father at home for 5 weeks - which would not have been possible without the carers helping every day - ensuring our father was comfortable. Each and every one of them was kind, considerate, polite and cheerful.
Over that period of time we got to know so many of them -
and while the focus was on our father - they were always concerned for us too.
The team at Baxter's were consistently professional with communication and we felt all our needs and requests were met.

Baxter's Homecare took care of all my husband's needs from the last few days of December until the time John died on the 12th of January 2023. He had expressed the wish to stay at home and Baxter's carers made sure that his request to die at home was honoured. Two carers arrived 4 times a day and took
care of all his needs right up to the moment he actually died. He always said he wasn't in pain and I'm sure that was because the kindness, compassion and professionalism of the carers meant he always felt comfortable and cared for. It also meant the family could relax knowing that he was being so well looked after. The carers were also very kind and showed concern for members of the family and making what could have been a very sad and worrying time easier to bear.
It would be impossible to say just how grateful all our family are to Baxter's Homecare for the quite amazing and compassionate care they gave to my husband. We are just so grateful that it was the NHS who recommended them to us.

The Baxters Homecare Team helped care for my wife for the last three weeks of her life, helping to fulfil the family's promise to her that she would be able to die at home. Without Baxters that would have been very difficult to achieve. They took a huge burden and responsibility off my shoulders.

Baxters Homcare's team cared for my husband for a year as he battled with motor neurone disease until he sadly passed away. I cannot fault their expertise, professionalism and the care they provided. Not only did they provide the care he needed to an extremely high standard, which made him feel safe
and comfortable in his own home, they made him laugh and he enjoyed their company which was important to his quality of life. Our carers were very supportive and kind to me as well and always considerate. I view them as friends. I cannot praise them enough and highly recommend them for the superb care they provide.

The Baxter’s Team provided home care for our daughter as she recovered from major spinal surgery. Our daughter has complex special needs. The team were extremely professional and flexible, integrating into our house effortlessly whilst still providing very professional care for our daughter during her
recovery. They kept her entertained and engaged to prevent her focussing on her discomfort. They were also very mindful that they were in our house and sought to adapt their work to work with us. Thank you.

Baxter's provided home care for my wife for nearly 4-years (from May 2018 to January 2022) as she underwent a slow decline from Primary Progressive MS. (She has now moved to a new residential facility, which Baxter's have recently opened). I have always found the service professional and well organised
- for instance, the care plan is fully online and easy for all staff to access. The manager is extremely diligent in monitoring service performance and proactive in suggesting changes that may be needed. The carers are fantastic - not only well trained and supportive, but above all, kind, and that has made a huge difference to my wife's palliative journey. As someone who is paralysed and has limited communication, she is completely reliant on 24x7 support, and it is only through their efforts that she could stay at home for so long and in reasonable comfort.

Reliable, empathetic and punctual. Providing a very good service, employing best practice. Excellent system at head office for recording the assistance their carers give to the patient on a continuing basis, and their administering of medication, food and beverage.
They have proved to be of great
service in ensuring the well being of the patient suffering from a terminal illness.
They have proved to be pro-active in assessing and anticipating the needs of the patient and planning for it.
Good at listening to constructive criticism and acting on it.
I have no hesitation in recommending them for domiciliary care.
