I couldn’t have asked for better care for my mum in her last few weeks. Our carer was so kind and became part of the family in just 3 weeks. She gave us peace of mind that while we were at work or away from mum for a little while she was being beautifully and respectfully cared for, it made a very difficult
time a little bit easier. Thank you

Baxters cared for my mum for 18 months. Mum's main carer and the various daily carers were excellent, professional, well presented, and kind.
The communication between myself at head office was a little strained due to the repressive management style. Some very odd rules of not allowing carers to talk
with clients or to share information were inhibiting. Our carers also had little time off, with sometimes only an hour's notice of a break, which didn't allow for any personal planning. In summary, there's little care towards the welfare of the carers.
Pay the carers more as I believe it's more profitable to be nice and trusting of your staff.

Hi Toby, thank you for your review. I am happy you believe your mum received 5-star care, that is the aim. The care staff "excellent, professional, well presented, and kind" these are the basic attributes all our care staff must have, thank you for the feedback. I was not aware that there was a strained relationship between you and management. I assume there was a good working relationship with management, as management was available to you seven days per week. There are no rules prohibiting staff from speaking with service users and family. However, the staff is reminded to maintain professional boundaries. Staff time off is planned with staff and at no time was staff given one hour notice for breaks. The statement "there's little care towards the welfare of the carers" is categorically untrue. All our staff is paid well above the national living wage. Please feel free to ring me to discuss any unclarified issues.

The care and compassion shown to my mother was exemplary. Baxters Homecare came into my mother's life at a time when she needed them the most, in January 2021 up until her death in June 2021. From the start care was person-centered. Staff got to know the essence of my mother and that positively influenced
how care was delivered. The registered manager was proactive and spoke to various health professionals on our behalf, especially as my mother's health was taking a 'turn for the worse'. This was of tremendous help to the family. Although the pain of my mother's death is still raw, the care, support, and attention Baxters Homecare provided have created good memories for the family to hold on to.

The Baxters team cared for my Grandmother, when she returned from hospital (after a fall and then COVID) in Feb 2021, until she had to leave home and move into a care home in May. My Grandmother had used an alternative provider for a lot of 2020, but the standards of care from the Baxters team, along
with the professional administration/organisation were a massive upgrade on our previous experience. The team showed empathy and made every attempt to go over and above in terms of caring for my Grandmother's safety and hygiene.

Baxters Homecare Ltd has proven to be a great asset in my husbands care. The carers are meticulous and caring and always quick to notice if he needs anything. There is fun and laughter and singing during personal care which he has joined in and enjoyed. The wrist exercises have been done every day and
the wrist is improving. Thank you Baxters.

This team of care workers have been looking after my dad since discharge from hospital. As a family we were unsure how having people in our house would help. The team has been amazing, the workers always friendly and willing to help. The manager ensures she checks in on my dad to ensure he is happy

The team have been looking after my 90-year-old Mother-in-Law, who suffers from Onset Alzheimer’s, for quite a few months now. We find that they are extremely passionate about their jobs and very attentive, offering sound advice on safety issues which helps our peace of mind. Bringing them on board
has eased a lot of pressure on us and we are extremely grateful for the service they provide. Would highly recommend.

Our family has worked with Baxters and specifically the Manager for over a year now. There ehave been some very difficult times for us as a family as our Father's condition deteriorated significantly but her patience and skill get us through those difficult times and we have confidence and trust in

The carer arrived at the agreed time. She was well presented, friendly and pleasant. My husband took to her very easily. She listened carefully to my explanations of what my husband would eat, how he liked his tea and coffee and how he liked to spend the day. She also grasped very quickly the details
of how he would need to be accompanied to the toilet and safely back again in view of his sight and balance problems. When I returned home that evening, he had obviously spent a comfortable day and assured me that he had been well looked after with courtesy and kindness. The carer had been thoughtful and attentive and he had enjoyed her company.
